10/08/2026: Nice little tavern, not enough room for many people but cozy

30/06/2026: Nice place with nice people. Even though we didn't know each other, everyone was chatty and friendly

01/08/2026: The table had 5 cocktails and all four tasted fine. My whiskey sour tasted very thin and not really anything. When the hostess came by after a while to ask if everything was as it should be, and I replied that my cocktail didn't taste very exciting, the rather lame answer was just that they "sell a lot of whiskey sours." Why even ask if it was as it should be? Everyone in the party had tasted the cocktail and agreed that it tasted very thin. We immediately took a taxi to Duck and Cover. I won't be back.

09/08/2026: My first visit with a good friend who knew the place well. It was really nice. The weather was good, most people sat outside. The terrace is next to a shared lawn with a few larger trees, and there was a small family sitting on a picnic, they were served pizza from the restaurant. It was lively, but not crowded. I'll be back.

03/09/2026: We waited 15 minutes from payment to coffee being ready and then coffee was cold. We couldn't be bothered to tell them as we didn't want the agony of waiting for more coffee to be made.

22/08/2026: Delicious coffee and matcha. Unfortunately, there was a long wait and the matcha had a lot of ice. It was also very expensive.

06/08/2026: We got takeaway and the food tasted amazing. Unfortunately the portion size was absurdly small. The container was less than 1/3 full. I counted 12 mouthfuls on my fork. Now we’re going to McDonald’s.

22/06/2026: The food has gotten much better since they moved to the mall. And the Filipino lady who works there is always so sweet!

20/08/2026: While I wasn’t impressed with their matcha latte (too watery for my Asian palette. Matcha is meant to be thicker), the pastries were all really good. Lasted for a few days in the fridge. Couldn’t eat them in one go as I’m not big on heavily sugared food. This was all a treat!

15/08/2026: Friendly service and fantastic bread. Few but super delicious cakes.

31/08/2026: This place is phenomenal. The food was fantastic, the vibe is perfect, and they are child friendly. There is a play corner for the kids. We had the Korean chicken sandwich which had super crispy breading. The kids had pancakes which were delicious. I also have a delicious cappuccino. Highly recommend!

23/08/2026: Terrible service! The waitress brought the hot chocolate and, while unloading it on the table, spilled almost half the cup. She then left the half-empty cup on the completely full saucer, slapped a few napkins on the table, and left. When I asked if she could please bring another hot chocolate, she only brought a new saucer. Not acceptable when you've paid €7 for a cup.

19/08/2026: Really delicious food, great atmosphere and super good service! A really cozy restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, where both the food and the experience are top notch. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and we felt really welcome. Highly recommend Kates Joint – I will definitely be back soon!

31/07/2026: First off book a table! Visited their neighbour’s for lunch the day before and noticed their menu (they’re open from 17:00). The Malaysian aubergine curry sounded delish , decided to book a table. We weren’t disappointed

04/05/2026: Stayed in a standard double room, and it was nothing more than that. But it was clean, a good bed and hotel pillow in addition to the regular pillow - which increased the comfort. A quiet area and we slept well. The breakfast was very good and the waiter and chefs were smiling and service-minded. There is no ventilation in the room (only in the bathroom) and the air was stuffy and hot. The windows could be opened, but then you could hear noises from outside and in addition it was hot outside so it didn't help much. The bathroom is very small and the sliding glass door made the privacy less than optimal. They have a great gym and the location from Copenhagen is great!

01/05/2026: Unbelievable that such a large hotel does not have a disabled-friendly room, I knew that in advance, but the hotel was the best fit Friendly and helpful staff Stayed 2 nights, no cleaning Price on the high end

16/08/2026: Really disappointing experience. Both food wise and service. We ordered the menu and the food was cold and tasted funny. All the tomatoes in our burrata salad was the top of the tomatoes (the green stem part), almost like there were no tomatoes left and we got the rest that was supposed to be thrown out. My pasta had a weird consistency (almost overcooked) and was cold. The waiters forgot our dessert and when we reminded them that we hadn’t gotten it the waiter looked very worried and ran to the kitchen. We saw that they cut the remaining two pieces of cake into four pieces and served them to us. They offered us one tiramisu to share because of the size of the cakes, which was nice but also weird. The waiter said he could quit his job because we asked for salt and pepper for the table. I think he ment it as a joke, but it was quite uncomfortable. The vibe was quite nice though and some of the waiters were also nice. Wouldn’t come back even though I’ve been here quite a lot of times.

22/07/2026: While wandering around Kolding, I discovered a pub that served Czech beer, among other things. So I had two to replenish my fluids. It tasted great.

10/07/2026: GREAT bar. Probably the best in all of Kolding and the surrounding area. The atmosphere is always super cozy, and there is plenty of space to hang out, both inside, but also with a nice large covered outdoor area. So you couldn't ask for more. They also have very cheap beer 🤤

27/08/2026: A really cool location! We felt very comfortable, stayed for a long time, and tried lots of different food 😊 The burgers and pancakes were the best, as was the bar with its very friendly staff 😊 The restrooms were very clean! The owner always wiped down the tables and picked up trash from the floor. Very thoughtful 👍

16/08/2026: Outdoor food market which is of course only open in the summer Small stalls with different kinds of food, including fish and chips, hamburgers, sandwiches and pancakes with different kinds of fillings. Then the fact that the beach is on the other side of the road is really hygge 😁

29/07/2026: Ordered 3 burgers. The menu didn't mention fries, so we ordered one of those too. The clerk (not the waiter, because you had to go up to the cash register and order) didn't mention that fries already came with the burgers, and that it was unnecessary to order them on the side. We were also asked to bring our own drinks to the table. The burgers were OK. Nothing special, and certainly not for the price (189kr). Won't be back
