26/05/2026: We tried their 12 course tasting menu and we were big fans of the food. Personally I am not an expert on Chinese food, but I think it was delicious, juicy and really good tasting. There were two sweet dishes that were not so much my thing, but I am sure they were exactly as they should be. The dishes that were served on other tables also smelled really good. The service was also really nice, friendly and with good explanations. I will definitely come again.

12/08/2026: Without a doubt the best sushi place, and can 100% recommend it. It tastes really good, looks nice, and doesn't fall apart. The price is also very cheap, and tastes better than the expensive places😊

28/06/2026: The room was extremely stuffy and hot, feeling more like an oven, and there wasn't even a fan provided for my room. When I requested a fan at the reception, the night-shift receptionist was rude and displayed a very poor attitude throughout the interaction. The toilet bowl was also visibly stained and unclean, which was unacceptable and reflected poorly on the hotel's housekeeping standards. Overall, I am very disappointed with both the cleanliness of the room and the level of customer service. The way the hotel manages and treats its guests fell far below my expectations and left a very negative impression. I would not recommend staying here. Book at your own risk.

28/06/2026: We were unfortunate to visit Copenhagen during a heat wave, which was obviously beyond anyone's control. However, what was within the hotel's control was how they responded to guests' concerns. When we asked the reception if fans were available, receptionist brushed it off by saying "The rooms are fully booked, there are no fans at the moment. Bear with the heat. I need a fan myself. Do you expect me to get a fan at this hour?" Understand that rooms may be fully booked, but he didn’t even bother to take down our room numbers and assign us a fan when it’s available. Total lack of hospitality and empathy.

13/09/2026: The food was just good, not exceptionally tasty, and it was a shame that we would have to wait 50 minutes for pasta. But we were notified about that in advance, which is really good!

31/08/2026: Disappointing visit. Ordered the brunch plate, pretty much everything was cold, pancake, sausages, eggs and bacon. Had to ask for ketchup myself. The fruit bowl with melon and pineapple was too old and inedible - completely soft and clammy! The pancake and croissant were placed on top of the cheese (which I don't eat) and the pancake came without anything. A somewhat dry pleasure.... The dark bread was extremely dry. The yogurt had also been sitting out for too long, as there was liquid in it. Ouch! The service was also lacking. I am heavily pregnant, and instead of coming down and taking our order, according to the waiter it was 'easier' if we just came up and ordered. There is absolutely nothing easier about it. In addition, I had to ask for a lot myself. Ketchup, sugar for the coffee etc. Instead of it just coming from the start. And the waiter seemed a bit irritated. Not the best birthday brunch and then for an absurd amount of money!!!

31/07/2026: Highly recommended! We had mussels and shrimp. Both were huge portions that would have satisfied even a teenager. Absolutely fresh and deliciously prepared.

30/07/2026: Ordered a baked pizza from them through Wolt, when it arrived it was very burnt. The sauce also tastes strange.

13/10/2025: The pizzas were great, it was lovely and quiet to sit, and the staff was super friendly. It was truly fantastic.

22/08/2026: We were greeted nicely by friendly staff, but then the experience unfortunately started to falter. When we ordered drinks, their own beer was sold out. We were a bit surprised, as beer is one of the reasons why many people come – and this is the second time we have visited the place where it has sold out. We therefore chose another beer, but it was not cold and had to be exchanged. The next one was only slightly colder. While we were waiting for our food, the table across from us was served the wrong dish, which had to be returned to the kitchen. When our own food arrived, it was okay, but in our opinion by no means up to par with the price. My steak was really well cooked, and that was clearly the best part of the dish. The fries, on the other hand, were fried completely dark brown – several close to black – and the dish otherwise consisted mostly of steak, gravy and the half-cooked fries. My wife had the chicken, which was actually really good. On the other hand, the rhubarb compote was so sour that it was too much, and the sauce was almost like pure stock. The salad was okay. While we were eating, a chicken dish at the table behind us was sent back because the chicken was dry, and we could clearly hear that they were not satisfied either. Overall, our experience at almost 1,200 kr. for three people was far from the level we have previously experienced here. The food this time seemed more sparse and less interesting, and the price-quality ratio simply did not hold up.

14/08/2026: Cosy restaurant decorated to perfectly match the dishes it offers. The two of us ordered a Smørrebrød selection of 10 small dishes from the chef. More than enough for two, and everything was very flavorful and beautifully presented!

06/08/2026: 🥪🚂 Guldkalven Viborg – highly coated in just the right way 🚂🥪 Guldkalven is a bit of a special size. A semi-modern smørrebrød restaurant in an old train station, where for the almost suspiciously modest sum of around 150 kr. you can satisfy the Danish lunch hunger. I had heard both praise and criticism, so of course there was only one solution: The professional opinion machine had to get to work 😂🧐 I ordered the Kokkens Platte with mixed smørrebrød and a couple of confident Hancock sodas to wash down the survey with 🥤😎 And wait a minute – I was actually impressed. This is not a piece of rye bread with three sad slices of cold cuts thrown on top like a municipal lunch box from 1997 😂 Here is homemade rye bread, fresh ingredients and HIGHLY COATED smørrebrød 🥪🔥 Most of the pieces were really sharp, and you can clearly see that the kitchen actually cares about this. For the price, it's almost cheeky. I've paid significantly more for sandwiches that had about the same personality as a wet dishcloth 💸😅 The surroundings in the old train station also work surprisingly well 🚂 There's charm and authenticity, even if it gets a bit crowded and loud in some places – you almost risk knowing the pension plan of the person sitting next to you before you've finished your herring 😂 They're just missing the last 10% before I get up, bow deeply and give them five stars. But the direction is absolutely right, the price is really sharp, and the kitchen deserves a big nod of appreciation 👏 I'd love to come back – especially if you find the last 10%, because then the Golden Calf will really start to get horns 🐂😄 ⭐🥪🥪🥪🥪 4 out of 5 highly-covered sandwiches The fifth one is still standing on the platform waiting for the last little gastronomic train. 🚂😂
