01/09/2026: Cozy café and cute little shop with a variety of health and beauty products (e. g. soaps and lotions), arts, and local food (honey cakes). The owners are very friendly and always up for a chat as well as a hug.

18/05/2026: After a trip around various hotels in Jutland, I must praise Vejlsøhus for their beds and bedding. Really high level of information which means that I didn't lack anything when we arrived on Sunday afternoon for full self-service. Finally a breakfast buffet in lovely surroundings with quality products.

10/08/2026: Thurø Stuen is more of a cozy, older-style pub than a classic restaurant. The value for money is excellent: the portions are very generous, and the food was consistently delicious – honest, traditional German cuisine at its best! The staff was consistently friendly, and everything was spotless. The menu is manageable (around three children's menus and six or seven main courses), which is perfectly adequate. Our only, but significant, criticism: upon entering, you immediately notice the smell of smoking. This is a real drawback if you're traveling with children. If you can overlook this, you'll get good, honest food for your money.

17/10/2025: If you want to watch football and drink really good beer at the same time, you should go to Ørsted! Really good atmosphere, and if you come early enough, you can sit on a sofa or armchair when the game starts. I have been coming here for many years, and I have always been satisfied. They have a wide beer selection and you can taste before you buy. Very nice bartenders.

11/05/2026: Can’t believe I’ve never visited in the past 28 years! Lovely cozy little bar serving a well curated selection of Danish, German, and other beers. Friendly and knowledgeable staff with a clear passion for great beer. Excellent.

14/08/2026: Best tapas in Aalborg! Best tapas we've had in Denmark! Cozy place, great staff and really good wine! 10/10 - it's our go-to place. We held a reception there and neither we nor our guests had a problem with anything. Everything went smoothly, even the music was good.

16/07/2026: Great experience, lots of nice wines. Recommend the tapas plate. We where all nicely suppriced about the amount of different things on it.

31/05/2026: We got a perfect Wienerschnitzel with all the trimmings - even with bernaise which must be "the Jutland variant" Upon arrival we were informed that there was a bit of a wait for the a`la carte due to a larger party. To be fair - we waited maybe ½ hour, not abnormally long, but long enough for the owner to immediately offer coffee and dessert on the house bill as compensation. When you are both informed about the wait and then compensated, you can't be anything but super satisfied. The five stars are now given because of the food, the place, the surroundings and the attentive service, despite the many guests. We would love to come back.

28/07/2026: I actually like coming here because it's a restaurant where you sit at the tables and get your food served, and it's much cozier than the many cafes. The food is ok, the portions are appropriate and it's also healthy food with lots of vegetables. You could often wish for a little more flavor and spices, but there's chili, soy sauce, etc. you can add as you like. What annoys me is that there's always some Chinese radio or TV playing at the entrance, and I just don't want that type of noise when I'm out eating. I've politely pointed it out a couple of times without any effect.
