28/07/2026: Super good pizza. A little drier and firmer than Neapolitan pizza - but still so good. When I was going to pay, the waiter had added about 75ddk kronor. I told him and he corrected it. A little disappointing just based on previous reviews with the same experience.

11/08/2026: He was more surly and unpleasant, did not greet customers, and when you asked him something, he answered back in a very heavy and unpleasant way. The food was pretty good, but the service was not good at all.

29/06/2026: This kebab is really, I ordered durum with kebab for 55 kr which is a really good price. Meat and vegetables are fresh, But I loved the durum tortilla the most, it's a little crispy, And it looks like my mother's durum when I was a child

03/08/2026: we waited around 40 minutes for our food, when it finally got served, most of the chicken was burned and was a bit weird on the inside, me and my friend both got sick the next day. over all the decor was nice.

19/07/2026: It's a pub, no food, but with delicious coffee, beer, wine, spirits, and mixed drinks. A unique interior and a great atmosphere 🤗

27/08/2026: Great café with excellent food! We ate there and it was relatively quiet, which might be due to the slightly higher prices – but these are perfectly normal for Denmark. Café Mauritz impressed us completely: Taste & Presentation: The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service: The service was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and quick. If you're in Sønderborg and looking for good food in a relaxed atmosphere, you definitely can't go wrong here. We'll gladly come back!

26/09/2025: We came for breakfast and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, as well as the coffee, which was exceptional! It was a Tuesday morning so we were seated right away, and the server was very friendly and helpful. We had the pancakes and avocado toast. The food was good, nothing to complain about, but nothing was great, I wouldn’t go back for anything but the coffee.

22/03/2026: Kay’s Kitchen is simply amazing! 🇹🇭🍜✨ Really delicious Thai food with lots of flavor – fresh, authentic and clearly made with good ingredients and love. 🌶️🥢💛 The portions are good, and the service is always super friendly and accommodating. You feel really welcome. 😊🙏 If you love Thai food, Kay’s Kitchen is definitely a place you have to try. I will definitely be back! 😍🍲🔥 Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

04/03/2026: I ordered pad thai few times now and it was very good each time! Now I make sure to add a note not to include chili flakes, as otherwise it is too spicy. I always order a takeout and they wrap a box in a very thick aluminum foil, so the food stays really warm for a long time 🙂 Now it is my to go place whenever I crave some pad thai, very much recommended.

09/04/2026: Always a pleasure to visit Olive. I actually don't understand how you can have such good quality for that price. At the same time excellent service! Our table reservation was cancelled due to illness at the last minute, but then we were offered free service the following day. It's a service you don't get anywhere else. Will always recommend this place <3

27/03/2026: Maria, who runs the restaurant and cooks the food herself, is simply amazing. The food tastes AMAZING, you feel at home, the acoustics are good and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. We enjoy it every time we eat there. You can bring your own wine, so the price level is as you wish ❤️ Monday - Thursday you can get 3 courses for 295, that's a really good price for such delicious food!

03/04/2026: Had an amazing vegan dinner & great break with options. Asked in advance if the vegetarian meal could be veganised and were served a very tasty 3 course menu. They even used vegan cream to make an adaptation of the desert. Hidden gem for vegans 💚

18/03/2026: Right next to the Rebild hills, lovely hotel and good food.

10/08/2026: Arrogant waiter who couldn’t answer basic menu questions. Ordered the “upstairs beef with mushrooms,” which should come with whole roasted potatoes — got fries instead, no explanation, no asking. Were told there were no burgers available, yet saw burgers served at the tables right next to us minutes later. Food was okay, but the service ruined the experience. Won’t be back.

09/08/2026: The food was ok but not great for the price. The kids were very happy with the build-your-own burger and the cabonara. The fish of the day didn't taste much and the salmon was a bit dry.

23/06/2026: We had the three-course menu. Everything was delicious, fast, and beautiful! I highly recommend it!

15/02/2026: Really good food and excellent service and a good atmosphere in the restaurant. We had bought a deal with three courses for dining week. We felt extremely welcome when we came in. All the staff greeted us. They all spoke Danish by the way. The lobster bisque with croutons tasted excellent and with good bread and whipped butter. Beef bourguignon with mashed potatoes had a really good red wine sauce. A bit of a shame that the meat was not that tender, even though it was nicely cooked. That is our only complaint. The Gateau Marcel was good and had an excellent berry compote. I first got a glass of red wine from a bottle that had been open for too long. When we mentioned it, the waiter smelled it. She immediately agreed and first gave me a taste of another wine and then a new glass. It was nice that there was plenty of space between the tables. This could otherwise be a problem during dining week. In the top three of the many places we have visited for dining week.

31/07/2026: For 105,- DKK you would think you would get 2-3 slices of ham spread across the pizza, and not just one piece of ham divided into three parts... however, there was a good sprinkling of mushrooms.

12/09/2026: Coming to Shangrila you meet nice and friendly staff, a nice restaurant where the toilet is clean and tidy, a good place to eat.

16/07/2026: This is a good restaurant. The view is excellent and so is the atmosphere. The make OK burgers. The taste is well balanced and with the supplied double cheese and bacon it is quite good. The other dishes they serve are also very good. Enjoy your meal with good wine or beer Prices are very reasonable, the service is great so this place gets my recommendation.
