20/08/2026: Really nice cafe with good food and friendly staff. The service was good and the food tasted really good. It was a nice experience and I will definitely come back. Can definitely be recommended.

26/08/2026: Update: It's very nice of you to ask someone to send an email and then not respond. All stars are for the service. The two young women were super super sweet and attentive. Our party got burritos, nachos, steaks and a children's burrito. That's an absurdly high price for food that is only ok. At 229 for a burrito, it should taste really good. An adult's burrito is maybe 5 cm longer than a children's burrito but costs more than double. The filling in both is dry and quite tasteless. The rice is parboiled rice. The salsa was good. Nachos are served as a starter but there is plenty for a main course. There was nowhere near enough dipping sauce for such a large portion of nachos, which were also burnt in several places. The chicken was also dry. The steaks were pretty good. This is unfortunately the last time we visit Mexicarne.

26/08/2026: A Sunday afternoon was lifted by a good Mexican experience. Very friendly and attentive service makes us definitely give our recommendation.

08/06/2026: Always greeted with a smile and warmth. The service is good and competent. The prices are reasonable. I would describe the atmosphere as very pub-like. A definite plus for me.

18/08/2026: We were there with family and a friend. High chairs were available, and drinks were ordered via tablet – a bit odd, but self-explanatory. The food was good, with lots of fresh items, and the rest, as usual, was mostly fried. I tried everything on the menu and can definitely recommend it. Children up to 12 years old pay half price, but since our son was 3, we still had to pay for him even though the restaurant's website states otherwise. Anyway, all in all, it's recommendable, and we would come back.

25/08/2026: Very cozy modern Italian restaurant on 2 floors. We were welcomed by a smiling staff who showed us to our table. The menu is simple and clear with well-known Italian classics and newer inspired Italian food. The waiters were approachable several times and asked if everything was as it should be, which it was 🙂. We ended a cozy evening with some good tasty drinks and an Irish coffee. Can definitely recommend a stop by.

11/09/2026: BEWARE: This place charges ***45 DKK PER PERSON*** for tap water. (It’s filtered - so what?) We tried to ask for just one since my companion was having beer, and they said ok, took away the second glass and then brought back a second glass and told us it was 45 for the carafe, so we’d be fine. And then at the end of the meal they charged us 90 and said it was per person. When we tried to give feedback, they were extremely rude and defensive. This is the first one-star rating I have ever given on the internet, on any platform.

20/08/2026: I just deleted my enthusiastic and extremely positive review. Here's why: Orders can only be placed using a QR code. However, the menu is only available in Danish and English. I can read and understand both languages. However, I find it outrageous to assume that German tourists are familiar with Danish. I can, after all, I've been vacationing in Denmark for almost 50 years. But I don't want to go to a restaurant and scroll through menus on my phone. We quickly left this inhospitable café and had a delicious lunch at a café with friendly service in the pedestrian zone in Middelfart.

28/12/2025: Terrible! You order a Coca-Cola and get Pepsi. They take back a Pepsi, and we order a beer (thankfully, it's in a bottle). The beer glass was so dirty, there was no room for anything else – dust, dirt, grease, everything. Okay, so we ask for a new glass. No problem, they say, you can choose your own. But there was just one problem... all the glasses are dirty. Thanks to the gentleman for the bottled beer. But at least it's cozy, and because of the lack of lighting (dim), you don't have to worry about the dirt. The food arrives, joy! Lasagna is great 👍, pizza with potatoes and bacon! Oh, crispy, mmm... Oh no, the potato slices are raw, oops. And now, I'm a complainer... Nobody ever complained before. Go and see for yourself; I'm never going back.

27/12/2025: Firenze is one of the best places to eat in the city. Really good food and great atmosphere. Really good. Highly recommended.

23/07/2026: I had a very disappointing experience at this cafe. While I was trying to order, a staff member turned his back on me and ignored me before I could even finish ordering. I then went to another staff member and explained that the first one hadn’t listened to me, but he simply replied, “It’s not my problem, get on with it.” I asked for my drinks to be non-alcoholic. After I said so, he looked at me in a way that I found condescending and disrespectful. As a woman wearing a hijab, I felt like I was being treated with disrespect because of my hijab. When I finally received my drinks, they were clearly made without care. The glasses were not filled properly and they had none of the decorations that the other customers’ drinks had. I left the cafe feeling unwelcome and deeply disappointed. I hope that in the future this cafe will treat all customers with the same respect – regardless of their appearance or religion.

23/07/2026: One of the worst cafe experiences I have ever had. The staff were extremely unfriendly and greeted the guests with sour faces and an indifferent attitude. You do not feel welcome or respected as a customer. In addition, the glasses were dirty and the cleaning seemed very poor in general. This is unacceptable, especially in a place that serves food and drinks. I will never return and cannot recommend this place in any way.

03/04/2026: I usually don't experience anything wrong, but I think it's a shame that they're running a campaign with 3 sodas for 45kr + another one if you're an extra member, and 3 out of the 4 fantas are expired.
