27/08/2026: Unfortunately, Halifax in Frederiksberg is not functioning optimally at all after the renovation. There is a much longer wait time both to be seated, to order, and to get your food and drinks. It doesn't immediately seem like there are too few waiters, just that there is no manager.

19/05/2026: All in all, very disappointing and not suitable for business trips. No staffed reception. You're charged immediately when you call! Absolutely rude and terrible service on the phone, and then you're expected to do everything yourself. A proper invoice can't be issued because supposedly everything is automated, and you have no control over the invoices you generate—I can fool myself just fine, thank you. The room was a mixed bag. Breakfast was nothing special, but it had everything you needed. Friendly staff at breakfast.

07/06/2026: Nice food with good taste. The starter was too small with only a small salmon roll for each, tasted good. The main course with chicken pieces, veal, potatoes with good taste and two good salads. The desert cake was also good.

16/08/2026: We ordered a double cheese burger and we got a steak and bread, then we handed it in to the baker and got a real double cheese burger. We also ordered a french fry sauce and we didn't get it, so we went up to the cashier and said so, then we got it but there was almost no sauce in it. It's not worth 7 kr at all

08/09/2026: Experience with Early Bird at Brasserie Hugo Overall, the experience wasn’t bad, but I think the restaurant should consider hiring more staff. Even though the staff seemed to be doing their best, there simply wasn’t enough time for them to provide proper service, as there were very few employees and quite a lot of customers. Regarding the menu, the starters and desserts were very good, but unfortunately, the main courses were terrible. Perhaps they should consider removing the pasta options from the menu, as it seemed like they might not be prepared very often. Compared to the other tables around us, our dishes took much longer to arrive, and on top of that, both of our main courses arrived cold. The ravioli were simply inedible. It was especially disappointing because it was our first experience using the Early Bird app, and it was also our anniversary. We ended up having to rush through our desserts because the main courses took so long that we didn’t have enough time to properly enjoy them. When we arrived, we even told the waiter that we only had 1 hour and 45 minutes because we had tickets for a Candlelight concert right across the street. It’s a shame, because the experience had the potential to be much better.

01/09/2026: We were staying at the hotel and despite the restaurant not being very busy, the staff were a little salty that we didn't have a reservation. Food was expensive and average at best. Service was slow. Overall, especially for the price, it left a lot to be desired. This also served as the breakfast area for the hotel. Breakfast was ok at best. Not disappointing but also not anything standout.

04/09/2026: Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience at Det Sunde Køkken. It was my first time eating there, and I was actually looking forward to trying their food. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to my expectations at all. The food really lacked flavor and spice, and the chicken was very dry and bland. I had expected that a place with a focus on healthy cuisine would still be able to cook food that is both healthy and tasty. Unfortunately, I found the dish to be very tasteless, and that made the whole meal a disappointing experience.

The bowls are definitely the highlight and are worth trying if you’re nearby Atmosphere: The interior has a very fancy, kitchen-like design, which fits the concept and gives the place a unique look Food: The food variations are really good! Everything is freshly prepared and served in a cute bowl, depending on what you order. The portions are also very generous, and you’ll probably struggle to finish a bowl in one sitting Service: The service is pretty standard, but compared with the food and interior, it feels like the weakest part of the experience. The service could definitely improve and catch up with the rest of what the restaurant offers Cleanliness: The cleanliness is superb! Everything is very clean and well-maintained, and the staff use gloves when preparing and mixing the food. Applause for that! Price: It’s pretty expensive for what you’re getting, but once you actually eat the food and see how much you get, it feels much more reasonable. I’ve been here multiple times because of the food, variety, and generous portions. Highly recommend! Feedback to the Restaurant: One thing I would definitely recommend improving is the menu. It feels a very messy and isn’t always very clear, so I’d suggest making it easier to understand and navigate. Adding some photos could also help customers get a better idea of what they’re ordering. It’s worth reading the menu carefully before ordering so you know exactly what you’re getting

27/08/2026: Like any tourist center in the cities, the prices are above average. A draft beer cost 85 DKK in this place. In other pubs a little further away from this location, I found prices starting at 65 DKK. But it's worth it because you can enjoy the boat trips that arrive and depart from the canal.
