09/08/2026: I have never been served a pizza with so much oil and so little flavor. They get 2 stars because their fries and nuggets were good. Ketchup for the fries also cost 12 kr. extra.

05/08/2026: Big portion of food, taste great. You have to order inside and take the cutlery by yourself, but they bring you the food to the table

02/08/2026: It's the most delicious food I've ever tasted. But I was served by a half-angry young woman. That restaurant stinks, but you get used to it quickly.

26/07/2026: We had their 11 course menu, found on Early Bird. It was a fantastic tasting experience! First impressions of the place are not so good, and we were the only ones in the restaurant.

11/08/2026: Kalundborg. We had Plankebøf which was the most tender piece of beef fillet you can imagine... Highly recommended, and we will definitely come again.

03/08/2026: Overall the place was okay until I saw the waiters making an iced cocoa for a customer, where the waiter took the vanilla ice cream scoops with his bare hands........ The cherry on top was when another waiter dropped cutlery on the floor after cleaning it and then just put it together with all the clean things.

31/05/2026: Excellent döner and very friendly service. The food was fresh, tasty, and served quickly. The shawarma and dürüm were delicious, with generous portions and good prices. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. A great place for a quick meal in Kolding. Highly recommended!

08/06/2026: I am an extremely cozy person who loves book cafes. This is an all time amazing one. Wonderful people behind the counter, nice and quiet, and a really nice atmosphere to work in. People dont care who sits with them, they just ask to not be disturbed. The only noises is the nice lofi-calming music inside and the cars outside which makes it even cozier. The ice coffee is amazing and the variety of options is stunning

11/04/2026: Coffee was basically seethrough, and had no aroma or taste, both the Americano, and the filter coffee I got instead when I complained. Then the servant told me she didnt drink coffee herself which I find weird on a bookcafe, but she did read books though. She brought blankets yo us outside, and it was nice of her.

19/08/2026: The steaks were barely okay. The strange thing was, that we got them maybe three minutes after ordering and they were not really hot. It seems, that they are precooked and then only very shortly warmed again (and that not in a beefer or similar) and not prepared fresh. This is not what I expect from a steakhouse. The sides are okay and it is a nice idea that you can serve yourself. Service was okay and friendly. But several things in the menu were not available. Also we couldn’t get an espresso after diner as the machine was nicht switched on. Maybe that was due to the fact of it being Monday and not many people going out to eat on Monday. But still it was disappointing as it is not really cheap.

09/08/2026: We were a bit skeptical due to some of the reviews, but we were not only pleasantly surprised, but would definitely come back anytime, and certainly more than once. The food is top-notch. There's an all-you-can-eat salad and potato bar. And "all you can eat" here doesn't mean a drop in quality. The salad selection is plentiful, and the potato bar, with its fries, gratin, baked potatoes, roast potatoes, and vegetable sides, is equally impressive. The steaks are truly outstanding. Delicious, cooked to perfection, just as ordered. The ribs (bones) were also excellent. And what makes a visit perfect? ​​When the service is superb. The staff was not only quick and attentive, but also happy to give tips on what to see and do nearby, or how the beers taste. We were particularly intrigued by the Porse Guld. It's a beer brewed without hops, and we really enjoyed it. Afterward, we went to the supermarket nearby to pick up a few to take home. A wonderfully harmonious little restaurant that is definitely not a typical tourist trap. Absolutely worth it. Fun fact: It used to be a disco. Our only criticism: They don't have draft beer – especially Porse Guld on tap would really enhance the place 😉

21/08/2026: Only place in town that makes a good potato pizza with real potatoes on glass and not the dry slices you get on frozen. Always had the best pizza here.

Da Basso, however, is the real deal—a true destination for the buongustai (discerning palates) among us. I recently brought a group of Danish colleagues here; they arrived with the typical skepticism of those who think they’ve tried it all, but after just one bite, they pledged their undying loyalty. That is the power of pizza that speaks its own delicious language. The base achieves that elusive alchemy: thin enough to be crisp and structurally sound, yet pliable and light. The cornicione (the crust) is a study in contrast—airy and cloud-like within, blistered and wonderfully crunchy on the exterior, bearing the hallmark of a masterfully hot oven. The toppings are applied with an abundantly generous hand, ensuring that from the first bite to the last, every mouthful is a complete, harmonious experience. 01/06/2026: The grill is closed. The barracks at Smedebroen in Trige have now been converted into a parcel shop. Confusingly, opposite, outside the former Daglig Brugsen, there are so-called parcel boxes.

24/08/2026: Atmosphere: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service: ⭐⭐⭐ Price / Value: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ We came to the Old Irish Pub in Copenhagen several times after seeing how lively it was from outside and we definitely didn’t regret it. Great atmosphere with plenty of space across the different areas and music playing upstairs and downstairs. It does get very busy, especially downstairs where it can become cramped, sweaty and difficult to move around. Prices were reasonable for Copenhagen and there was always plenty going on. One of the funniest moments was seeing an older man dancing on the tables while everyone around him loved it. He looked like a local and clearly knew how to enjoy himself! The only thing I’d improve is the Guinness. The pouring was inconsistent between visits and it would be nice to see a more consistent pint each time. Overall, a really fun pub for a lively night out with a great atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere busy and energetic. Would recommend: ✅ Will be back: ✅

19/04/2026: Køge's best pizza. And cheapest. The one in the picture cost 76 kr. It's a pleasure that they can figure out how to use their wood-fired oven.

08/08/2026: Pricey, but great burgers made from authentic and sustainable stuff. No real place to sit and enjoy it, but go for the burgers, and never mind the rest. Sometimes, they are too busy to properly handle things, so be ware.

10/08/2026: Visited after this place was recommended in a blog written by a renowned chef. A most disappointing visit. The food was well presented but average, the seating area was dirty and don't get me started on the state of the toilet!
