10/07/2026: Delicious food, old and very charming house and terrace. Really nice service. Sad that it's closing.

20/06/2026: We were passing the restaurant and, as a clearly heavily pregnant woman, I urgently needed to use the restroom. I politely asked if it was possible, as pregnancy unfortunately requires frequent urination. The public restroom was closed, which I informed the server. Nevertheless, I was refused. I find this truly outrageous and would never visit this restaurant again.

05/05/2026: Excellent, small "satellite hotel" which is linked to Hotel Svendborg up by the "Gylletanken" in the center. The hotel is unmanned, but if you have any questions about check-in, breakfast, etc. you can call Hotel Svendborg or alternatively visit them on foot or by car, it is not very far away and on the route you will see many of Svendborg's "sights"!

31/03/2026: We have always loved their pizzas, but after the whole family got sick with severe diarrhea and vomiting, we don't dare to get pizza there again. The only one in the family who didn't get sick was the 3-year-old who luckily didn't eat any of the pizza😅😬

21/07/2026: Excellent pork roast sandwich. Not dry and boring, but juicy and delicious without all the extraneous dingle dangle. And with perfectly fried pork skin. Top dollar!

04/06/2026: nice place, was greeted by a happy and smiling lady. got fried rice and chicken in curry and a jumbo burger with fries. great everyone was happy and we staggered out the door again well fed. thanks for the food :)

29/08/2026: I have heard mixed reviews depending on the dish but the wagyu burger and lamb chops were very tasty and abundant. Great homemade lemonade. Tomato salad so and so. We sat outside on a summer evening and it was quite nice.

04/07/2026: Really good duck (#38)! You won't get better quality/price. Stay away from the buffet. They open at 3pm but the door is often locked at 3:15pm. They don't speak much Danish. The owner's son gave too little back on a 500 man. 24/2-25 new attempt; Tuborg Classic beer was soda, got new pilsner beer for 74 kr without paying for classic. After 20 minutes I went up to the cashier. Wanted to order duck, I was the only one in the room. The lady doesn't speak English or Danish. She called her manager, and I paid for the one beer and was gone.

05/09/2026: Just ate at Carl-Frederik's tonight. Had a great portion of fried pork with everything. Rarely had such good fried pork. Very very crispy and a clean taste. The sauce was also fantastic. 03/09/2026: The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio was excellent. The staff were very friendly.
