26/04/2026: Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious. The wait time was reasonable. You can sit comfortably with a view of the harbor and watch the ships depart.

Got the kebab menu, it is juicy and tasty, the meat and the pita is very nice😋 I've eaten here a year ago, just went in the restaurant and thought the food was delicious. Then came back now and I checked the reviews, and I am very confused with the low rating. It is honestly very good 😊

18/05/2026: We went there spontaneously, just the two of us, during the off-season, without a reservation. Everything was incredibly quick, the staff were very friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. The salmon on the hot stone was especially delicious – highly recommended!

21/07/2025: Hand on heart, and without exaggeration, I would put their homemade pita bread with shawarma in my top-three-all-time-best pita bread that I have personally tried. Insanely delicious and juicy meat and fresh ingredients and delicious dressing. Definitely recommended. Huge 5 stars for the food from here

05/11/2025: I don't think the previous reviews are justified. The lavish lunch buffet was incredibly delicious, with plenty of choice.
Service was very friendly. Large drinks really mean large, 0.75 liters... so the higher price is acceptable.

11/12/2025: DISMISS ANY NEGATIVE REVIEW ON THIS PLACE. As an Aussie, the coffee is absolutely up to standard, bit that's JS the beginning. Wouldn't go to any other cafe. The staff are lovely, and speak a variety of languages so are very tourist friendly. Food is great, but the best part is the atmosphere. They love people, they love dogs, and are a rare gem in the middle of not-so-sunny Copenhagen. There is just no place like AS. Honestly come to Denmark JS to come here. Tusind tak my friends.

12/05/2026: Tasteless food, and too expensive! This is supposed to be mexican-inspired food, but it doesn't even contain chili? And it contains only the smallest amount of lime and cilantro/coriander, such tiny amounts of flavour isn't enough to make food taste good. The food is just shockingly boring.
And the portions are so small, we were still hungry when we left the restaurant!
The waiters were busy and didn't have time to serve the food in a decent way.
04/05/2026: A somewhat meh experience without the big highlights. I've been to Menendez before when they were "Ved Standen" and was a big fan, but they've lost a lot of their charm and the food is not something I'll remember.
It was also almost impossible to have a conversation in there because of the noise from other guests and the kitchen.

25/05/2026: My mother, older brother and I were all served delicious dishes by friendly staff. We had lunch here before going to Randers Rainforest. Everything was well-cooked and you could taste it was made from good ingredients. We will definitely be back!
