24/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MUMA Brønshøj, a restaurant I will return to without hesitation On Saturday, August 22, we celebrated our eldest son's 26th birthday at MUMA Brønshøj. There were four of us around the table, our two sons, my wife and I. And let me state right away: This is a review of the Brønshøj branch and exclusively the Brønshøj branch. I have not visited the other MUMA restaurants and therefore cannot of course comment on them. Over the years, I have eaten at many Turkish restaurants and actually thought I knew more or less what to expect. MUMA Brønshøj raised that bar. We ordered a wide range from the kitchen: plank steak, beef tenderloin, Adana skewers and chicken skewers, with plenty of side dishes, bread and hummus. What was remarkable was not just that one dish turned out particularly well. All of them did. Chicken, lamb, the spicy minced meat and steak, each part had its own character, and everything was tasty and well-cooked. Added to that were delicious fruit drinks and a menu so diverse that even during the meal you want to come back to try what you didn't get to this time. But good food alone doesn't make a restaurant visit memorable. People do. The staff were friendly, fast and constantly attentive without ever being intrusive. Something as simple as eye contact made a noticeable difference. When the waiters passed the tables, they let their gaze glide over the guests. You didn't have to sit and try to catch a waiter, you simply felt that the staff had seen you. One waiter in particular stood out. His friendliness, attention and speed were so remarkable that I personally tipped him 100 kroner. Not because it was expected, but because excellent service deserves to be recognized. In fact, he made such a good impression that I subsequently agreed with the owner, a very sweet and welcoming Iranian woman, that our future visits will be on Saturdays from 5 pm, when he is at work. When you start planning your restaurant visits according to the waiter's shift schedule, both the restaurant and the waiter have done something absolutely right. We came to celebrate a birthday. We left with the feeling of having found a place we would like to return to. MUMA Brønshøj gets my warmest and most unreserved recommendation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

22/08/2026: I got 2 chiken dorums on bought of them the meet was to baked from out and raw from inside it was bitter and not good

03/08/2026: They could use some sharper knives. It seems like the room is pitch-black. It's a bit slow to fill up the buffet. Otherwise, the food and service are good.

30/05/2026: We love coming here. Good atmosphere and smiling staff. It's perfect with the buffet so everyone can just take what they like the most. And the selection is wide💗

15/08/2026: Their food quality and service is really terrible. I ordered a Kalvespyd plate and a chicken shawarma durum, every piece of the meat of kalvespyd is very dry and chewy you need to drink something with it to be able to swallow it and I took a bite of the chicken shawarma durum and noticed that it tastes only like iceberg salad and then I open the durum and I find out that there’s barely chicken shawarma pieces inside and literally 3/4 of the durum bread is just filled with iceberg salad and onions and tomatoes to make the durum look big and filled while it’s filled with just a mix of salad. If I wanted to order a salad i would have ordered a salad somewhere else and not come to a kebab place to eat an iceberg salad durum that you name on the menu “Kylling shawarma durum” and contains tiny overcooked dry pieces of chicken. And when I confronted them about it they tell me this is the portion quantities they put for everyone and that they can’t change their quantities and can’t compensate the money for food that can’t be eaten because of how overcooked and dry it is and it’s 2 completely different things that I ordered, the grilled beef spyd and chicken shawarma and both are a big fail while I have paid 274kr for these 2 meals. If you really want to eat a decent shawarma and meat that is worth your money then definitely put it somewhere else because the money a person would pay here is not worth the quality, quantity and service they provide.

05/08/2026: We bought two kebab boxes, but they were unfortunately a disappointment. The meat was dry, the food was bland and lacked flavor.

07/09/2026: Don't bother with those screens. Then went again.

07/09/2026: Okay, there's not much space, and if you need to use the toilet, you have to use a snorkel because there's just as much water on the floor as in the tap, and the sink is the same size as a deep fryer basket.

10/08/2026: You come into a cozy place, with good service and are greeted with a smile. Reasonable prices and good food, the buffet is always full and always has fresh things, which is nice.

04/05/2026: Large durum roll, almost no filling... maybe that's just how it is in Jutland

02/08/2026: 79 kr. for a slice of carrot cake from a supermarket. The cake was covered in jam (carrot cake with jam?!) and had a distinct aftertaste of onion – as if it had been cut with a knife that had also been used for something else. You couldn't get milk for the coffee, only powdered cream. A truly disappointing experience and a sad way to welcome tourists.

14/08/2026: It's a very large buffet, but with many different options for both hot and cold.

09/08/2026: Staalvand is a nice place to eat... but with incomprehensible overpriced food for low quality. We have eaten there a few times and have never left satisfied. Today our bread was full of mold and to our great surprise we were not compensated for it. Inattentive waiters, terrible food (considering the price). Super nice surroundings with embarrassing prices and service. In addition to this there was very loud music inside, young employees who took internal hygge-smoking breaks all the time

04/07/2026: Been coming here for almost 15 years. It has now become so expensive and the food so bad that it is no longer a place we want to come. Service was non-existent

31/07/2026: Super cozy place that serves everything from pizza to Indian dishes. Their Biryani is incredibly delicious. Good fresh ingredients and lots of delicious flavor combinations. Their Punjabi Mix pizza is a must try.

04/06/2026: Amazingly delicious pizzas at an affordable price. Other cuisine is also very good. Service is very friendly and good quality. The restaurant is clean and cosy for in-house eating. Location is perfect as well. Owners are very polite and flexible to prepare customised dishes.

07/08/2026: After we clarified that we could also order in German, two great pizzas were prepared for us, which were really delicious and at a very fair price, we'll be back :-)

26/07/2026: We ordered pizza no. 26a and 26b, they were really delicious and with lots of filling. It took 15min to get them made, so it was absolutely perfect. We will definitely come again if we come to these parts.

13/08/2026: Beautiful restaurant right on the water. Vegan and vegetarian dishes available. Order online at your table or directly at the bar. English spoken by the staff.

04/08/2026: very friendly server/cook, food was brought to us really fast and he was able to make everything vegan. really tasty, would recommend :)

12/08/2026: It was incredibly hot in the restaurant. The ice cream bar looked sloppy and unappetizing.
