14/06/2026: A concept with lots of different beers on tap. It just works.

09/05/2026: The quality has dropped significantly. We paid 400 DKK for four cocktails made by two different bartenders, but the result was embarrassing. Two of the glasses from one bartender were only half as full as the others. It is disrespectful to let a customer carry such inconsistent drinks back to the table, and even worse to be met with a 'they are the same' when pointing out the mistake. They clearly were not the same.

04/08/2026: I have been very satisfied with the quality of the pizzas and that they can make the pizza the way you want it. However, I understand Ole why there is almost no tomato sauce on it. But otherwise it is really nice.

22/07/2026: So far, this is the best sushi restaurant in Helsingør. The owner appears to be Thai, and it really shows in the quality and attention to detail. The sushi is consistently fresh and expertly prepared. It's a little on the pricey side, but not significantly more expensive than other sushi places in town. Considering the quality, it's absolutely worth it. It's also a great option for takeaway. Orders are usually ready in about 30 minutes, and you can watch the sushi being freshly prepared and wrapped right in front of you. We also enjoyed the fried dishes. They were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside without being overdone, while still keeping all the flavors intact. We've never been disappointed, and this has become our first choice whenever we're craving sushi in Helsingør. We spent around DKK 400 for two people, which felt like good value for the quality we received. And they do have outdoor place, nice place to enjoy the summer.

05/07/2026: I've eaten at a lot of sushi restaurants in Denmark, but Sushi Taro is really delicious. You may have eaten a lot of sushi before, but listen: "All you can eat" places are not necessarily bad, they just lack distinctiveness. It's a bit like cut-to-measure sushi - no matter which restaurant or city you eat in, it doesn't feel any different. If you choose a la carte, on the other hand, it's of course good, but the prices are often a bit overpriced. But right here, at Sushi Taro, it's different. There's a definite art to it. If you're passing through Helsingør, I really recommend that you don't miss it. Try it - you definitely won't be disappointed!

26/08/2026: Absolutely love it. I know their cheese cake is great and has been coming back for a long time now but it is only my 2nd time in this store at Frederiksberg (I went to the other branch more). Not cheap but you get good quality and satisfaction. Pleasantly surprise when getting the seat with the view of the flower garden.

From the moment we entered, the room radiated warmth: Scandinavian minimalism with a soulful, almost sacred calm. Every detail, from the single flowers in a clay vase to the design-classic stoneware, spoke of quiet dedication. The food? Simply extraordinary. • Ravioli with Ricotta & Cavolo Nero – hand-crafted pockets, so delicate and clear in flavour, the nutty, earthy kale filling lifted by subtle acidity. Truly flawless pasta. • Beef tartare from Engmosegaard – finely cut, seasoned with elegance, melting into the most balanced herb mayo, finished with paper-thin crispbread: among the best tartares we have ever tasted. • Wild mushroom toast with Semmel-Stoppelpilz – creamy forest richness absorbed by rustic bread, accompanied by a vibrant salad. A dish that tastes like a woodland walk. • Charcuterie – house-aged Salsiccia and Culatello, deeply flavoured, quietly masterful. The drinks matched this standard: a natural French Pinot Noir, perfectly paired; and a house-made kombucha with figs, coconut and a whisper of cinnamon – fragrant, alive, unforgettable. Brilliant jazz floated through the room, the host speaking of the musicians with the same passion he invests in his kitchen. His kindness and humility made us feel deeply welcome. Starting for the venue itself, the endless ceiling, the glass walls that let bright light to come through even on the rainiest of days, and allow to enjoy the great view of the opera house and paper island. Then the service, smooth, friendly, never rushed. And finally the food, a selection of the best Aamanns has to offer. What is there not to like? Always a pleasure to visit this place.

27/08/2026: This is one of the best gluten free bakeries I’ve been to in all of Europe and the US. You can tell they know what they bake well and they lean into it. Very reasonable prices too!

21/08/2026: They offer glueten free coffee and pastries. They have a seating area but they don't let customers use their bathroom. I wouldn't recommend this place to tourists.
