Even though our youngest chose to walk all over the place, they were all nice and would talk to her when she wanted to talk to them The food was also good So if you want to go out and eat somewhere nice but still have little ones with you. So this is a place we can recommend

19/08/2026: Our lunch visit to Rib House in Hillerød unfortunately didn't go as planned. We were a group of two adults and two children. First, we had to wait quite a while before we could even place our order. Then, it took about 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive. During this time, we noticed that guests who had ordered after us were already being served. There also seemed to be delays and service issues at other occupied tables. However, the restaurant wasn't very busy at the time of our visit. About 45 minutes after receiving our drinks, our food was served. Unfortunately, the meals for the two adults didn't match our original order. When we inquired, we were told that the sandwich we had ordered wasn't available and that a burger had been served instead. We hadn't been informed of this beforehand. The side dishes also differed from our order. When we asked again, additional side dishes were brought out during the meal, but we didn't need them. The children had "røde pølser" (red sausages) with fries and were satisfied with their meal. The service staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive. Given the restaurant's low occupancy, the long wait times and repeated discrepancies with our order were difficult for us to understand. Overall, our visit was characterized by long waits, a lack of communication, and several discrepancies with our order. With two children, we found the long wait particularly unpleasant. Based on this experience, we would not recommend Rib House and would not visit again. It's a shame, because the location right next to Frederiksborg Castle is truly beautiful and actually offers excellent potential for a pleasant restaurant experience.

02/09/2026: We had breakfast at this café. Aside from the friendly staff, the breakfasts are excellent. The coffee was the closest to an Italian coffee in all of Denmark. Prices were reasonable.

30/06/2026: Unfortunately, I don't think my experience was good. It must be said that I didn't taste their food. But I had ordered food for pickup online which went through. I cycled 15 minutes to the restaurant, to read a sign on the door that said they were closed for the holidays. This information was not provided on either Google, Maps or their website. Should be updated.

28/06/2026: Tasty dishes for adults and children alike. Both non-spicy and very spicy. Big platters mean you won’t be leaving hungry. Overall price to quality ratio is excellent. Warmly recommended.

27/08/2026: The pizza was very tasty and the portion size was more than sufficient. At 95 DKK, the price was very reasonable, especially considering the quality. The waiting time was very short – only about 10 minutes – and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere and overall appearance of the place could be improved a little, but if you're mainly looking for good pizza at a fair price, this is definitely a good choice.

13/06/2026: I stopped by to have a remote meeting. The bar was barely open but the owner let me in and even lower the music for me. Additionally the expresso was very exquisite with a very nice acidity and well served. I have love to stay for their live music in the evening.
