31/08/2026: A proper Danish experience, extremely recommended. Good cigars menu (you can smoke inside), surprisingly good cocktails, cheap beer and unfriendly bartenders, the way King Frederick intended. I would never change a thing in this place, it works perfectly as it is.

02/12/2025: Excellent atmosphere, the cocktails are divine, truly excellent, the service is top-notch with a special mention for Camille the mixologist!! I recommend the spicy margarita with mezcal

30/08/2026: Ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas. Got something that looked like 2 frozen pizzas with chicken slices on them and no pepperoni. Also, the website says they cost 89 kr per piece but they demanded I pay 230 kr… A further price of 40 kr for pizza of the lowest quality I have ever tried

25/06/2026: Fantastic sandwiches at a very good price. We ordered 4 "3 sandwiches" and got 12 different ones - all equally good! Three delicious and filling sandwiches and a "Hof" for 79 danish, hard to beat.

There is a very special calm and atmosphere in the idyllic premises that makes you feel welcome immediately. The food is always top-notch – classic dishes made with good ingredients, where nothing is ever lacking. The details are well thought out, and the service is professional and with a smile, even if there are many people at the table. It is clear that they have extensive experience in handling parties, so that as a host you can just sit back and enjoy the party. If you are looking for a place in Hillerød with soul, good food and personal service, Ellegården can be highly recommended. We are already looking forward to the next time!

26/08/2026: The food tastes really really good and has a very special taste that makes you have a great experience. At the same time, I think that a lot of people will like it. Everything is thought out down to the smallest detail, the dressings fit the salads perfectly, the spring rolls are amazing, and the meat is fried perfectly. Huge recommendation from here! 10/10! 🤩
