06/12/2025: Came here for a dinner with two others. We were excited to try a wine, they were out. The waiter suggested a wine over double the price, which speaks of inexperience or worse. The beetroot dish is fantastic! Followed by the potato and then the leek. The pollock wasn’t balanced well and neither was the pork. The service throughout was not memorable. Overall, would I recommend this place to my friends to visit? No. There are better restaurants.

10/04/2026: Just moved to Herlev so wanted to try eating there with my daughter and son, and it was a lovely experience! Tender shawarma meat with fresh ingredients! I ordered a dürüm menu which was quite large, my 2 children ordered “kebab box” also a nice portion. The service was really nice and welcoming, I was surprised that the staff came to the table to ask if we were missing anything and if everything was as it should be 👏🏻 I really appreciate that. I can see from some comments that the prices are too high, they just don't think about how much meat prices have increased recently, rent, electricity, wages etc etc etc, so I think it's completely acceptable prices, yes a can costs 20 kr? Remember you are not in a kiosk or in net, it's a restaurant! Once again thank you for the lovely food and service and we will definitely see you again 😊

26/10/2025: Oct 2025/fall menu. Some of the best food we’ve ever had! Menu meticulous and each course exciting - with inspiration from Chinese/mexican cuisines - a step away from the more classical/Nordic/danish styles you get in most other Michelin restaurants in CPH. Lamb main course was the cresendo that just kept giving. Great seating at the bar - getting behind the scenes view of a world-class kitchen while still casual, fun and approachable.

26/10/2025: Visited in October 2025. We had the 10 course.solar menu with the 7 glass non-alcoholic pairing. Both the food and the drinks were generally interesting, although some dishes were better than others. The lion's mane mushroom and the main course were delicious, and the mille crepe was very good. The other dishes had good quality ingredients and were prepared with care, but their taste and/or texture didn't fully convince me. From the juices, the Muri and the apple-based juice were my least favourite, but I liked the other ones very much. I also liked the service, which was friendly and professional, but also more relaxed than in other Michelin-starred places I've tried. The staff seemed knowledgeable and gave a good impression. I liked the restaurant as well, it was nice to see what's happening in the kitchen, and the noise level was reasonable. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and appreciated the experience, even though the food was a bit hit and miss.

The terrace could benefit from more heating on cooler days, though the provided blankets and heaters are a nice touch. Tablecloths would also help elevate the presentation and ambiance. The food is generally very good — simple, fresh, and tasty. The bread could definitely be fresher, but overall dishes are well prepared, and desserts are especially enjoyable. The mains are about average compared to Parisian bistros, but slightly above average for Copenhagen. Staff are polite and generally responsive, though sometimes a bit distracted and dressed in a style that feels slightly old-fashioned. Still, they maintain a friendly, professional (if sometimes overly informal) attitude. The bathrooms could be cleaner and more modern, and the interior décor would benefit from some updating, but the overall charm remains undeniable. Located in one of the most luxurious parts of Copenhagen, just behind the d’Angleterre, Café Victor remains a personal favorite — reliable, lively, and enjoyable year after year. I’ve been coming here for many years and even went twice on my last trip — it’s my go-to spot in Copenhagen when I want a classic, comfortable dining experience.

I’m really sorry to say something negative about the service: all the food arrives in time (they made a mistake with my yogurt granola) just the vibe of the waitresses. They were a bit rude. 13/03/2026: Picked up takeaway for lunch for 17 people. Know the place for its fantastic sandwiches as I have bought here from time to time over many years. First time I tried their Italian buffet and it fully lived up to expectations. If the place was closer to Frederikssund I would be a customer much more often. Super service and instructions for serving.

28/12/2025: Food was delicious, and well portioned. Friendly staff and a very comfortable space. Went here with a group of 6 and everyone was very happy with what they ordered. I got a complete breakfast, every component was excellent. Highly recommend.

12/12/2025: The place is anonymous from the outside, but when you step inside it is super cozy, and almost like eating in a wine shop in the good and cozy way. The food is excellent, no fancy food here, it is rustic and tasty like mama would make it. The menu changes from day to day, so there is no excuse not to come back again and again. The waiters are Italian and we had an excellent chemistry with them, and we ended up sitting and enjoying ourselves for 4 hours, also because when you order their wine menu, they leave the bottles on the table, so you can take more yourself, without extra charge.. and since we have previously worked in the restaurant industry and love to talk wine, they brought new/extra bottles for us to taste, again without extra charge. This is one of Copenhagen's best Italian restaurants and you get extremely high quality, taste and coziness for the money. See you again!

08/01/2026: Went for Christmas lunch on Christmas Day. Despite many guests it didn't feel cramped. The food was good, and the staff ensured quick refills when needed. Young waiters who all seemed to enjoy their work. Would come again.

11/06/2026: Really a great and lovely location. We enjoyed sitting outside with beautiful weather, wine and food. Friendly staff but very slow service. Food was decent. We didn’t expect much because it’s so touristy but it was better than we were prepared for. Lobster was fresh, oysters awesome according to my husband who had 12, and lastly his pasta shrimp dish was bland but okay. Overall if you are okay with a touristy spot and so so service, you’ll enjoy it.
