11/11/2023: Actually quite good food. We would have gone to Kongedybet but it was completely packed. We tried this place and were actually really positive about the quality which was far better than when we usually go to the competitor. Although there was a bit of a lack of atmosphere, as there was a bit of an old shop, the food and service were of quite high quality, it was a bit of a woolly place but we were actually positively surprised. Really delicious food and at a VERY affordable price

05/11/2023: One portion of salmon was not fresh, neither in taste nor appearance. I had to throw it out. It's a real shame, because then I can only give three stars. Everything else was very delicious.

27/08/2024: La joven que trabajaba allí parecía querer estar en otro lugar, pero el servicio está muriendo en todas partes de todos modos, así que no esperaba mucho más. Además, comida mediocre por un precio increíblemente alto. Ah, y ten en cuenta que si quieres cambiar un chapuzón por otro que sea del mismo precio, te cobrarán extra.

07/02/2025: Vi fejrede min runde fødselsdag med 50 voksne gæster i Sejlklubbernes Spisehus. Vi havde valgt et 8 timers aftenarrangement med velkomstdrinks, 3-retters sæson menu, kaffe og derefter åben bar med husets longdrinks mv. og til sidst gourmet hot dogs som natmad. Alle retterne, kold-røget laks til forret, langtidsstegt kalvefilet med stegte rodfrugter, kartofler og rødvinssauce til hovedret samt Gateaux Marcel med hindbærsorbet og hvid chokolade som dessert var helt fantastiske. Maden og vinene fik meget stor ros fra alle vores gæster, især forretten og desserten var imponerende gode, som var vi på en gourmet restaurant! Vi havde selv arrangeret en dj til at spille op til dans efter maden, og da der også var en del indslag med taler, sange osv, var det lidt vigtigt, at en tidsplan for aftenen blev fulgt. Logistikken med servering og afrydning forløb perfekt, alle gæster fik hver ret på bordene på næsten samme tid, og tjenerne var hele aftenen opmærksomme og samtidig diskrete, så også en stor ros for den yderst professionelle afvikling af arrangementet. Det blev en uforglemmelig aften. Hele arrangementet fungerede super fint, og vi kan varmt anbefale at kontakte restauratør Stephanie Michaud, hvis I planlægger et middagsselskab!

12/01/2025: Fik en dejlig frokost med hjemmelavede og smagfulde lækkerier (karrysild, pandedtegt fiskefillet, æg & rejer, lun leverpostej, hønsesalat og frikadeller). Venlig betjening.

26/09/2025: We held our team day at Herkomst. It was a full-day event with meetings, catering, dinner and a party. We simply couldn't have had a better experience. Everything worked from start to finish – the details were well thought out, the food was really delicious, and the drinks were just right. A special thank you to Signe, who was always attentive, helpful and ensured that we had a good time the whole way through. It made a huge difference and gave the experience an extra boost. We can highly recommend the place, both for professional and social events, or just a nice evening – we left with smiles and good memories!

18/10/2024: Clearly Denmark's worst baker. Everything is poor, the rum balls taste disgusting, everything is disgusting in texture, his rolls are drier than rusks

20/08/2024: I am amused by the horrified reviews from people who apparently didn't know what they were getting into until beforehand. I mean, the place screams 80s, time warp and old routines. I can easily talk about sourdough pastries from Andersen, Juno, Alice and Hart in Copenhagen, but none of them offer what Thorsen offers; a bit of the old days. The bread should preferably be weighed on a gram scale, smeared with Kærgården butter or 3-star salami and slathered in the corner of the mouth. And the dear baker Thorsen is based on those parameters. When reviewers write about 'Denmark's worst baker', it is because baker Thorsen is probably the last one left of his kind. When Thorsen turns the key, it is a farewell to a simpler time, where everything does not have to be measured and weighed and accounted for. I recommend visiting Bager Thorsen for the total experience of the 80s baker.
