12/11/2025: We had a buffet one evening at the smokehouse, there weren't many customers, the food was really good, as was the selection. Service is a bit so-so, it's self-service and the person at the bar disappeared every now and then, so we ran "dry" so to speak.

14/12/2025: Unfortunately very disappointing experience. We bought a dürüm, but the meat smelled bad. It tasted like old or very strong mutton, and the smell was downright unpleasant. The meat was also very dry, with hard and burnt pieces that clearly seemed reheated. It was not fresh and not a good experience at all. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place.

01/12/2025: We went there tonight to buy some food. They said the lamb kebab was finished so they could offer beef kebab. I could hear them speaking Kurdish and saying there wasn't enough meat but they would just use the leftovers. I am disappointed but not surprised by this kind of treatment. Shame on you, you are giving the Kurds a bad name.

09/01/2026: After the new owner came, it seems like a lot has changed. Less gorgonzola than usual in that dish, a very long time from ordering to getting the food, and you had drunk your coffee before the dessert came (otherwise it would have gone cold) and the "apple pie" had absolutely NOTHING to do with pie or apple - it was puff pastry without a hint of apple.

23/12/2025: We walked in and the place looked really nice, but it took them five minutes to actually talk to us and tell us to order at the counter and sit wherever we wanted. The only problem was that at around 2 PM there was no food left, but we only discovered this after trying to order two or three dishes. The four people at the counter didn't even look at us, and we were standing 2 meters away from them... really unkind people. We left!

16/10/2025: The meat you served was (sorry, I don't know what else to say) downright embarrassing. What are you thinking, serving something like that?! All the guests were struggling to cut a piece of it WITH THE KNIFE, it was so tough - not to mention what it was like trying to chew. And besides the fact that the piece of meat itself was not good quality, it was fried completely dry. This was a really bad experience.

01/11/2025: [English version] We visited Akropolis on a chilly Friday evening, hoping for a relaxing Greek dinner after a long week. Unfortunately, disappointment set in right from the start. Upon arrival, there was no greeting, no "welcome," not even a glance of acknowledgment. The staff member at the counter seemed more focused on explaining the cash register system to a colleague than on the guests waiting to be seated. After seating ourselves, it took quite a while before anyone came to take our order. When they finally did, there was still no warmth or friendliness to be found. We ordered calamari as a starter and a mixed grill for the main course, accompanied by a glass of house red wine and a beer. To their credit, the dishes were served fairly quickly, and the food offered decent value for money — perhaps the only positive note of the evening. However, a visit to the restroom quickly spoiled that impression. It was dirty, unhygienic, and carried an unpleasant smell — simply unacceptable for any restaurant. After finishing our main course, we asked for the dessert menu, which was brought to the table. Yet no one ever returned to take our order. After waiting in vain, we eventually decided to pay and leave. The farewell was just as impersonal as the welcome. No one asked if we enjoyed our meal, no thank you, no goodbye — just silence. Conclusion: Akropolis serves food that's fair for the price, but the service ruins the experience. Unfriendly, indifferent, and disengaged. Half a point for prompt serving, but otherwise a visit we'd rather forget. We won't be returning. The employee behind the counter was more concerned with explaining the checkout system to a colleague than with the guests who were waiting. After finding ourselves a seat, it took far too long for someone to come take our order – and here too there was no warmth or friendliness to be found. We ordered calamari as a starter and mixed grill as a main course, along with a glass of house red wine and a beer. The food was served relatively quickly, and the quality matched the price – in fact, the only positive aspect of the evening. However, a visit to the toilet quickly changed the mood again: dirty, unhygienic and with an unpleasant smell. Not acceptable in a restaurant environment. After the main course, we wanted dessert and were given the card – but no one ever came back to take our order. After waiting a long time, we gave up and asked for the bill. The end was as impersonal as the beginning. No one asked if everything had been okay, and no one said thank you for the visit. Conclusion: Akropolis delivers food that is reasonably priced – but the service lets it all down. Unfriendly, inattentive and lacking in commitment. Half a point for the quick service, but otherwise an experience we would rather forget. We won't be back.

29/12/2025: Very convenient for the main railway station. Lovely room and pretty quiet despite being on a main road. No option for meals other than breakfast but we found plenty of restaurants within a reasonable distance

28/12/2025: Our room was very nice. Small, but very cozy and perfectly adequate for our stay. The staff were consistently very friendly and helpful. We especially liked the central location, as many sights can easily be reached on foot. One point of criticism, however, is the breakfast. Unfortunately, the food was not labeled, so it was not clear which cold cuts were pork, beef, or chicken. Allergens were also not indicated, which can be difficult for guests with intolerances. In addition, pancakes and scrambled eggs were placed together in the same warming container, which made the pancakes smell strongly of eggs. The sound insulation in the room was also not particularly good — you can really hear a lot from the neighboring rooms. It didn’t bother us too much, but it is worth mentioning. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back again.

25/09/2025: Their nachos are some of the worst I've had in a long time. The meat filling on most dishes is a bit stingy, but the taste of both pita bread and pizza is otherwise really good.

01/11/2025: Great place handled by polish family that makes me the same way proud and happy. Was there today just before noon for couple of mins to meet with my dear friend Stan I know for over 20 yrs. I was a bit in hurry so I didnt order anything to eat but it was no any suprise that the place is super fresh and clean if he is keepeing it. In short soldier's words: Man of steel and order. And as far as I know his wife Agata food have to be just as fresh as delicious. Update: food IS just amazing. Tasty burger with best fries I've ever had Update no.2 best vegan burger I've evrer had (because it was the first one in my life:-) but seriously you must try it. Burger tasted amazingly good&vegetables was super fresh.
