20/06/2025: absolutely delicious on top of being beautiful. I am personally (unfortunately) a big beef lover but these meals were so divine I didn’t even want to say yes to the option to add a meat or fish. things I have been a bit wary of in the past blew me away with their preparation. the wine pairings were perfect and the staff were all lovely and very knowledgeable. I will be reminiscing on this meal for years to come !

23/02/2026: We celebrated my 50th birthday at Luna’s Køkken – and honestly, I still don’t think we’ve quite landed yet. The concept was a MasterChef evening for 27 guests, and from the moment we walked in the door, you could tell that this wasn’t just “cooking” – it was an experience. We were welcomed with calm, overview and an energy that meant that as a host you could actually relax (which is a rare luxury). We were divided into teams, given aprons and thrown into antipasti, pasta, sauces and an Italian atmosphere. And the brilliant thing was: You felt like a participant in a food show – but without stress and without anyone standing around shouting at you 😄 On the contrary, we were guided safely through the entire process, and EVERYONE could join in – both those who normally live on rye bread and those who think they are the next MasterChef winner. The staff had complete control over timing, coordination and humour. There was laughter, collaboration and competition in a good way, and suddenly we were all sitting together eating a meal we had made ourselves… which actually tasted really good! What made the biggest difference was the presence. You didn’t feel like a booking on the calendar, but like guests who genuinely wanted to give a special evening. Several of our guests have already said: “This is the most fun birthday I’ve ever been to.” So if you’re considering a company event, bachelor party, group of friends or a special birthday – we can only say: Do it. It’s an evening you’ll talk about afterwards. For a long time. Highly recommended from here.

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and a feeling that quality and good service are in focus. What impresses me most is the great variety on the menu. Whether you are into freshly made sushi, classic Asian dishes or a delicious piece of open sandwiches, there is something for everyone. Not many places manage to combine different cuisines in a way that still maintains top quality – but Yang Køkken og Sushi succeeds. The sushi is beautifully presented, fresh and made with good ingredients. The fish tastes fresh, the rice has the right consistency, and every bite shows that care is taken in the preparation. It is sushi that makes you want to order again. The open sandwiches also deserve great praise. The bread is fresh, the toppings are delicious, and the whole thing is beautifully decorated, so it looks inviting and tastes fantastic. You can clearly feel that there is a focus on both taste and presentation. The staff is smiling, helpful and attentive. You feel welcome, and the service is both fast and professional. It makes the whole experience even better when you are greeted with a good mood and a genuine interest in the guests having a good experience. The restaurant appears clean, neat and inviting, and there is a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. It is an obvious place for both a quick lunch, a nice dinner with the family or an evening with friends. It is clear that Yang Køkken og Sushi emphasizes quality all the way around – from the ingredients to the serving. The combination of tasty food, beautiful dishes and good service makes the place stand out positively. I can only give my warmest recommendations. If you are looking for fresh sushi, delicious sandwiches or tasty Asian dishes in cozy surroundings, then Yang Køkken og Sushi is definitely worth a visit. 14/06/2026: Good and polite service. Their all you can eat sushi is a nice concept, they just aren't on par with the other places in town that offer the same thing. It's a little more generic and less innovative than the other places. The food tastes good, the selection is ok (although a little too fresh from the freezer when you look at the hot dishes). I've had their open sandwiches for a few different events, that's not their forte.

11/07/2026: Professionalism Is What Happens When Things Almost Go Wrong People often judge hotels by what happens when everything goes according to plan. I don’t. I judge them by what happens when they think something has gone wrong. Some time ago, mu wife and I were enjoying the seven-course tasting menu when, after the third course, I jokingly remarked that it had been a rather small piece of meat. A few moments later the waiter asked whether everything was alright. My wife smiled and said everything tasted wonderful, but that I might have been hoping for a little more meat. The waiter quietly nodded and disappeared. A couple of minutes later he returned with the head waiter. Suddenly our table became the centre of a perfectly choreographed operation. Plates disappeared. New plates arrived. Steak knives appeared from nowhere. The table was reset with almost military precision. It was obvious they were preparing to serve me a complimentary beef tenderloin. I was genuinely impressed. Then reality caught up with all of us. We hadn’t even reached the main course yet. The “small piece of meat” had simply been course number three. The actual main course—a magnificent quail—was still on its way. We all laughed, the table was restored, and dinner continued as if nothing had happened. But here’s the thing. I’ve spent much of my career working with large organisations and complex projects. What impressed me wasn’t the misunderstanding. It was the response. Nobody argued. Nobody tried to explain why I was wrong. Nobody waited for a manager’s approval. Their instinct was simply: “A guest might leave disappointed. Let’s fix it immediately.” You cannot fake that. That isn’t good service. That’s culture. The food was outstanding. The setting is beautiful. But the professionalism of the team is what I still remember. That’s rare.

09/06/2026: Was at a conference with overnight stay. Beautiful hotel with an atmosphere of the "old" days with nice decor. Service was faultless and the room was nice and clean. There are also good parking options close to the hotel at a reasonable price. Or free a few minutes walk away.

18/08/2026: I ordered the pasta with mascarpone cream and raspberries and it was spectacular! Crispy puff pastry, airy and soft cream (not at all cloying) and a delicious raspberry interior. I thought that being a chain it would have low quality but it wasn't. Looking forward to going back to try other products!

19/08/2026: Broken glass in the lemonade and a worm in the soda... No replacement for them. Dry burger bun, and long wait times...

19/08/2026: We found broken glass in one soda and a caterpillar in the other soda… They didn't remove the sodas from the bill, which I think would have been nice. Otherwise, great food

05/08/2026: I had a very strange cake. Rhubarb Cheese Cake! It was very good, yet way too sour! I think very sour is a normal Danish standard! The cappuccino was good, but no more than that. It was served in a glass rather than a cup! Very central location. Cosy atmosphere. Recomended

03/08/2026: A beautiful café right in the heart of Helsingør. Delicious coffee, filled sourdough rolls, cinnamon buns, and gorgeous cakes. Plus, only polite staff and everything spotlessly clean!

04/10/2025: One of the best bakeries I've frequented. Juicy and tasty bread. Their cake cream is cooked and you can taste it in their cakes. A bakery with good craftsmanship and far from the Tjøwenhavner prices you can find elsewhere on the island. We come almost every day we're on Bornholm ❤️💚❤️

09/08/2026: Lovely sunny day. So extra tables outside so you could sit outside. Despite really many people, food came fairly quickly. Nice young people serving.

02/08/2026: Super delicious place where you can put together your own Brunch based on how hungry you are 3 or 5 different things with super fair prices lovely freshly squeezed juice and delicious coffee and cake 👍👍 super service-minded staff with a smile on their face despite the fact that they had plenty to do 🤗 and then there is just the best view, where you can go for a nice walk after having brunch 🤗 can definitely be recommended 👍
