26/08/2026: We were really excited to come here because we love the brand, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. We came early in the morning, shortly after opening, and the tables still had food and dirt from what looked like the day before. We had to ask the staff to clean our table, the floors were very dirty and the whole place felt neglected. Quite shocking for central Copenhagen. The food and drinks were actually great, but the hygiene ruined the whole vibe. Our sandwiches weren’t served in the recognizable pink boxes, just on napkins, and when we asked for a plate they didn’t have one, so we were basically expected to eat over a dirty table. They also advertise their app everywhere, offering a discount and free coffee for downloading it. We both tried several times to register, but the required SMS verification simply never arrived. The staff didn’t seem interested in helping at all, which made the experience even more frustrating. For these prices you expect much better service and cleanliness. Sadly, we wouldn’t come back. The hygiene is simply too questionable.

11/07/2026: Ordered online when it said they were open. After getting no response from the place for half an hour, I drove down to where they had closed. A man who was walking around the back came to the door and made me sound like an idiot when they hadn't confirmed the order. Like I should have waited until Monday to find out if I could get lunch.

06/07/2026: Unfortunately a disappointing experience. I got a sandwich with regular chicken, where several of the chicken pieces were very hard - almost like rocks - and impossible to chew. It wasn't all the chicken in the sandwich, but several of the pieces were so hard that it ruined the experience. I have subsequently tried to call several times to make them aware of the problem, but without success. I hope you will pay more attention to the quality of the food and make it easier to get in touch with you.

24/06/2026: I've eaten here 1-2 times before, a long time ago and was immediately satisfied, but not this time. I had been in to shop and thought I would take some home, as I didn't have the time or energy to cook anything myself. I started to get rice and meat, but by the time I got to the deep-fried dishes, it was mostly empty. I thought, ok, let's wait a bit, then something more will come. It didn't, I asked an employee and was told that it was 7 pm, so no more came. It was 6:40 pm... If they write that the kitchen closes 30 minutes before and they don't close until 7:30 pm, then the kitchen shouldn't close at 6:40 pm or probably before that. Quite disappointed with the service and unfortunately also with the food, as I then had to make do with what had probably been there for a while. I should have just left it and left, but unfortunately I was hungry and had to get home really quickly. If only it were cheaper because of the time, but no..

02/09/2026: Ordered my self-proclaimed Christianhavner cake, but it was completely inedible. It tasted like it had been sitting there for a long time and completely collapsed. It was wet and completely soggy. Super bad experience. Will never come back

26/07/2026: I usually love Joe & The Juice, which is why this experience was so disappointing. The staff member who served us was extremely unfriendly, unhelpful, and made us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. Customer service is just as important as the food, and unfortunately there was no professionalism or friendliness at all. On top of that, the sandwich was served cold and was far too salty, which made it very disappointing. I will continue visiting Joe & The Juice because I normally enjoy the brand, but I will definitely not return to this particular branch. I sincerely hope the management addresses the customer service at this location and provides better training, as the staff’s attitude does not reflect the standards I expect from Joe & The Juice.

08/05/2026: sat outside on a sunny evenings so vibes were good. mango salad was so nice, fresh and zingy. drunken noodle chicken was good, maybe a bit too salty but it really hit the spot.

31/07/2026: Ordered a children's burrito for my 5 year old son. The filling was spicy even though it was for children. When I tried to ask if we could get one that was not so spicy, the employee denied that there was anything spicy in it. He generally has a rude attitude towards me and the solution may be that I buy a bag with sour cream for 20kr extra. Really bad service! Will not be back.

14/07/2026: The food was terrible. The burrito was hard on the outside, cold inside, and tasted old. Poor service and staff didn’t understand. Very disappointing – waste of money.

05/08/2026: Absolutely the worst food. Their butterchicken gave me salmonella, never ever had such bad food poisoning. Save yourself and stay away from here. Totally disgusting

04/08/2026: Ordered their butter chicken and rice. And ended up getting really bad food poisoning. Couldn't stop throwing up and feeling sick. Never felt this bad before.

17/06/2026: Bad service from the worker. No smile at all, looking at you like you are an idiot. Unacceptable especially in Illum.

16/08/2026: Three course dinner for concert A royal evening. Very noisy restaurant measured the sound level at 72 dB. You could hear the noise from the kitchen all the time even if we sat near the window. The food was very bad tasteless, served as a white mash with radishes and carrots and a couple of drops of green oil without carats The main course was a chicken fillet unseasoned and hard-fried so I only took a few bites. In addition, a very sweet parsnip amos was suitable as dessert, inedible in the context. We never got the dessert because there was no time to eat it if we were to catch the concert. The waitress didn't know anything about the wine and had a hard time remembering the name until she was supposed to serve it

28/06/2026: Our starter sounded delicious on paper: Green and white asparagus with poached egg and hollandaise sauce. On the plate was a nondescript mix of chopped, uncooked asparagus covered in a thick sauce. The asparagus tasted bitter and as if it were too old. We put our trust in the main course: lamb with potatoes and carrots and, for the vegetarian, blue cauliflower with beans. The lamb was brown and seemed overcooked. The potatoes and carrots would have been quite delicious if they hadn't cooked everything for far too long. The vegetarian menu was downright inedible with the blue-purple and rubbery slice of cauliflower covered in a nondescript mix of white beans and canned corn in a sweet, light brown sauce. We were glad we hadn't ordered dessert. In fairness, it must be said that the wine was good and the service was both nice, unpretentious and friendly.

09/11/2025: I had a really disappointing experience at Emmerys on Bryggen. The staff seemed inattentive – they were standing around chatting and didn’t even notice customers coming into the store. I ordered two buttered buns to-go, but it took almost 10 minutes to get them. When I finally received the bag, it was covered in butter. When I pointed this out, I was met with a very bad attitude from the staff. Really bad experience on a Sunday morning!

08/10/2025: Ordered a hot sandwich. It didn't even take 2 minutes before I got it. Alas - cold and boring threw it out after one bite

24/07/2026: Got pita bread No flavor in the meat and stingy with the meat, most of it was salad. Fresh vegetables

10/05/2026: Yesterday the whole family got sick after eating here. We all threw up. There must be something really wrong with that place. Will never eat there again.

02/10/2025: A fantastic bakery with top-class service and quality! You are always greeted with a smile and friendliness, and that makes the experience very special. The bread and cakes are in a league of their own – freshly baked, delicious and full of flavour. Here you quickly forget Lagkagehuset and all the other chains – nothing can compare to the quality and personality you find here. It is clear that everything is made with love for the craft. My absolute favourite place, which I can highly recommend to anyone who appreciates genuine baking craftsmanship. 🥐🍞🎂 It is a pleasure to shop in your bakery shops

15/05/2026: I understand that the owners of the place are not keen on keeping the premises and toilets clean. I have been there a few times and every time there was dirt everywhere – on the tables, the floor and the toilets. Is it typical for Danes to like dirt? Do they like working and buying food in dirt?

14/07/2026: It’s amazing how frustrating a pretty looking bar can be when the staff are completely clueless. Not keeping it tidy, no idea how to look after customers. Rude, incredibly slow and really not listening.
