29/08/2026: Best sushi experience in Copenhagen. We loved absolutely everything about it. The only downside is that it has become a victim of its own success, so getting a reservation can be quite difficult. But once you’re there, it feels like such a special and intimate experience to share. For lunch, there is one seating at 12pm. In the evening, there are two seatings, at 5pm and 8pm. Make sure to arrive on time, as the experience begins once all the guests are seated.

11/08/2026: Been coming to Sushi Anaba 1-2 times a year since it opened back in 2019. It’s amazing to see how Mads and the team continues to improve and is consistently great. Service always top notch and down to earth. Wine list is getting better with every visit. It’s always an experience and luxury to come back to the sushi temple of Copenhagen (and Europe?)

01/12/2025: It's very cramped, there's not even any space between tables. Also, the menu is inadequate.

12/08/2026: The atmosphere of this place is indeed a little cold and detached, visitors sit around thoughtfully smoking into ashtrays, the old paintings on the walls are covered in a nicotine patina as are the burgundy velvet walls and all of this is pretty charming. Even the smell in the men’s toilet, which, despite that, looks absolutely spotless what makes feel it as an intended part of the whole experience: a journey back in time to the beginning of 20th century, when everything was apparently supposed to be like this: smoke-stained walls, art nouveau patterned tiles, a piss-soaked bathroom, mysterious visitors and bartenders who aren’t particularly interested in being nice, as people are expecting today, and simply do their job. It’s a pretty honest atmosphere of the place, and five stars from me.

07/08/2026: I ordered the Original Pho, and it was fantastic! The best Pho I've ever had. And the service was quick and attentive. Anyone going to Kopenhagen should try it.

07/08/2026: Given the high prices in Copenhagen, this is one of the few pho dishes that suits Korean tastes. The vegetable pho comes with fresh oyster mushrooms and pan-fried tofu. Haha, it's a bit unfamiliar, but the chopped pan-fried tofu is delicious.

14/08/2026: Excellent location, very peaceful and a perfect place to start the morning. The coffee is good, though just slightly bitter, but it’s still well worth a stop.

03/02/2026: I highly recommend their homemade burger, a large burger with a very nice taste for only around 55 kr, as well as good fries.

24/08/2026: The closest restaurant to our hotel where we sat with hunger on the first day we arrived in Copenhag. Frankly, the visual of the food, the atmosphere, the service was really good. However, there was something strangeness in their taste, it could be because of the oil they used, or because of the oil that was used for a long time. There is a mismatch between the visual and the taste. Also, 1 bread 20 dkk is not normal. The workers are great and good. We paid about 600 dkk for 2 bowls of one appetizer, 2 ayran, 1 water, 1 bread. Does the state know?

10/07/2026: Ayesha was the best Walter ever. She made ud feel safe sitting outside, and she made sure we were well fed. The food also good!

21/06/2026: Tried to order sushi on their website for my birthday. They rejected my order three times, tried both on the phone and on the computer. I felt like I was being fooled. Why have a website with ordering if you don't bother serving customers? Tried to call but was on hold for 20 minutes before I hung up and ordered from their neighbor.

04/08/2026: had a delicious breakfast here. we arrived around the opening time and got a seat right away, however later there was a bit of a queue. the staff is very friendly and the ambiance is lovely! i had the breakfast plate with jam and egg and it was great. a simple option but the ingredients are high quality<3

04/08/2026: The folded eggs were super delicious! Especially loved the fresh bread that comes with it. Highly recommended.

17/08/2026: A great little spot for beers in Copenhagen. Very local, relaxed and authentic atmosphere, without feeling touristy. A nice place to sit back, have a few drinks and enjoy the local vibe. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re looking for a more genuine Copenhagen experience.

05/08/2026: Ordered takeaway, where all the sushi rolls were made with wet and soft rice, which ruined the entire taste experience - ugh!…

03/08/2026: Super discriminating waiter, middle-aged gentleman who spoke English and had grey hair standing at the bar outside. We are going to order takeaway and I ask him if the pepperoni pizza is halal as my friend is Muslim… he laughs in my face and says “I think the cow is happy no matter how it is slaughtered” when it was a yes or no question…, unnecessary comment. Then we ask him the price of a margarita as there is no meat on it, then he turns his back and says “the menu is there for you to look” without eye contact and super condescending tone. We did not feel welcome at all. Very poor service and scared us away because of his tone and behaviour. Shame on you

31/07/2026: Probably the best pizza in Copenhagen. We were there on a hot summer day and had small dishes and a pizza. Well-adjusted taste and size. The wine was quite warm, and when we pointed it out we were offered to exchange it for wine from the fridge, even though the wine was poured into the glass. The cool wine was absolutely perfect on the hot summer day! Good service - we look forward to coming again.

27/12/2025: Unfortunately the fish was completely overcooked and the breading was very hard and definitely not crispy. Very disappointed.
