31/01/2026: Nice decor, and actually excellent food. I didn't think the taste and price were related. But that's also a very subjective assessment. However, I'm not so good at places with hipster/normcore types who squat down to explain the concept and lecture me that I can't expect the same menu in real life as on the internet. You should probably complain more about your own sloppiness. He's also so rude to claim that they don't have time to change the menu on the internet from time to time when the ingredients change!!??u? Then you shouldn't slap a menu on the website. I also ask for two quick glasses of bubbles to start, and the waiter won't give me that until she brings me the card. I say that she can just choose herself...but still, it's up for discussion, and I have to accept her decision. My problem with the place is that it exudes quality and good knowledge of Japanese food culture. But it is run by a reasonably smart guy who is unfortunately a lot too smug in his attitude towards my girlfriend and I. 3000kr for that experience is too expensive. I would have been better off with cheaper prices for that level of service.

03/06/2026: I dined at AOC yesterday and chose the smaller tasting menu. It was, quite simply, an extraordinary meal that more than lived up to the anticipation I had built over several weeks. Every course was excellent, and the plate construction immaculate, but a few dishes were truly unforgettable. The mackerel and asparagus was astonishing. Delicate, perfectly balanced, and accompanied by a green strawberry sauce that was genuinely life-changing. The turbot with white asparagus, langoustine, and quail dishes were equally outstanding, showcasing exceptional technique while still allowing the ingredients to shine. What elevated the experience even further was the hospitality. I was dining alone, but from the moment I arrived I was made to feel completely welcome and at ease. The service team struck the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. Their enthusiasm for both the food and wine was infectious, and their knowledge and understanding helped guide me through the menu in a way that enhanced every course. The atmosphere they have created is something special: elegant and refined, yet relaxed and genuinely welcoming. Unfortunately, I don’t know the names of the team members who looked after me, but every single person I interacted with contributed to making the evening memorable. My sincere thanks to both the kitchen and front-of-house teams for an unforgettable meal, wonderful wines, and a truly exceptional dining experience. AOC exceeded my already high expectations, and I will be thinking about that mackerel dish for a very long time.

02/06/2026: Review from people who like try michelin star res: Service is really a big issue here The door still locked after 30 mins after opening time on google. We even had to knock the door few times to come in (ps. we went early for our booking but after opening time for a while). After the first knock, the waiter and waitress spoke to each other about heard someone knocking the door. And no one still comes up 😅 . Right after someone came to open the door (finally), the person acted like nothing happen. 😅 During the course, they will serve you sourdough bread. No one cleans the flake until the savory course is finish. (Most of the fine dining course — esp michelin res will do). So you keep eating with a messy table. The staff could care less, the staff doesn’t know which course you are up to. We asked about the ingredient and keep getting answer wrongly. Moreover, the staff will come in and take your plate without noticing if you’re not done with the dish. Food presentation: far from michelin star res standard, not delicated , not detailed, you need to self experience this not just from the photo. Food taste: very subjective to say since it depends on the person. However, for myself, the ingredients got overtake from the sauce or seasoning. Nothing extraordinary and other res in Copenhagen can easily do better. But the worst part is all the sweet dishes are EXTREMELY sweet. Yikes. They also charged you for water at 75DKK/ person Not have to talk about the restaurant deco, very dreadful kitchen scene esp for two michelin star restaurant. Overall, very not worth visiting, nothing impressive and AGAIN SERVICE IS THE BIG ISSUE HERE !!! Unprofessional , Never again

26/12/2025: Be aware that this restaurant is not exactly pet friendly (only able to eat inside with your dog if their on a bag) not really practical if you are only passing by..

04/06/2026: The best thing about Rist is that it gives that small neighbourhood café feeling 💚 It’s small and cosy and perfect for your quick coffee in the morning. Not a lot of variety when it comes to food, just the basic staples, but I think that’s part of the concept and is perfect for what it is.

21/09/2025: We had our dinner here tonight and we were very satisfied with everything we ordered! From the moment we sat down, the cozy and welcoming atmosphere made us feel relax. The Chef was amazing — she clearly has so much confidence in her cooking, and it shows in every bite. She truly knows her standards, and the way she prepares food is simply outstanding. I ordered pasta with bread, and it was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and comforting. My husband and my friend both had pizza, and they couldn’t stop raving about how delicious and well-balanced it was. Every dish came out fresh, hot, and beautifully prepared. What I loved the most is that I’m a very picky eater, but I genuinely enjoyed every bit of what I ordered — which says a lot! The quality of ingredients, the attention to detail, and the passion behind the food really shine through. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience — cozy ambiance, delicious food, and a talented Chef who takes pride in her craft. Highly recommended!

21/09/2025: We had a delicious pizza here! Not just any regular pizzeria, but all the special, fresh ingredients prepared with passion. For dessert, we had a homemade tiramisu. Highly recommended!

18/08/2025: Freddy's Bar is definitely a top highlight of the city. It's a classic pub, simply honest and demanding nothing of itself other than to be a pub. They have a variety of beers on tap, the staff is hearty, as befits a good pub, and incredibly friendly. Anyone who insults the waitress gets a good telling off, as is only right. The prices are great. I'd give it 7/5 if I could. Go there.

11/12/2025: Really cool vibe, cute deco and good service. Vegetarian menu is not extensive, they had a fried eggplant burger substitute. Pleasantly surprised.
