28/06/2026: Came right in the middle of jazz week so there was a lot of noise from the tent in the square. Made it difficult to talk. However, nice to see so many people supporting the event..

29/07/2026: A truly wonderful place, we went for a beer tasting where the whole story of the friendly couple who run the brewery was told with plenty of space for questions and stories. The brewery and the land around it are run CO2 neutral and climate conscious in such a simple and environmentally friendly way that the owners take great pride in and which can also be tasted in their many different beers. There is beer for every taste, whether it is their individual IPA, "because we don't care that much" or their many dark stouts, there is definitely something you like, and as they say themselves, no two beers are the same as all beers are handmade and fermented in the bottle for up to several years before serving to give a characteristic carbonation and full flavor. Definitely worth a visit on your way through Samsø

14/08/2026: A real pearl we discovered during our Denmark roundtrip. The first clear 5 star restaurant so far (Kopenhagen ahead of us). Wide offer on fish and meat dishes but for sure on an elevated price level. Nevertheless the quality of the food was extraordinary. Each dish of the fish plate was unique, it was not just a simple combination of fishes but each one was special recipe. Steamed fish with leek topping, on skin grilled cod, stone biter with a tomato crust, fried fish (catfish?), a stuffed plaice roll and perfectly grilled langoustines (which outperformed each we tried in Skagen due to it‘s perfect level of salt and the grilled seafood taste).

26/11/2025: The Wienerschnitzel filled the entire plate and the sauce tasted good. The staff did everything they could to make us feel good. All in all a really good experience 😍 I would love to come back ❗️Unfortunately we were the only ones there

07/08/2026: A nice little ice cream café in the city - seems top be a hot Spot of Sondervig. The soft serve ice cream tastes really good and you can get special softice Cups Like Dubai, Oreo or Kinder Bueono. One small downside is that the soft serve melts quite quickly, so you have to enjoy it fast – especially on a warm day. What I really appreciated, though, was the service: when a child accidentally dropped their ice cream, it was replaced with a fresh one without any fuss. A very friendly gesture and great customer service! Overall, a nice place for a quick ice cream stop in the city.
