01/08/2026: A great little gin bar in the city center. Fantastic selection and very good service - at least when it's early in the afternoon.

01/07/2026: Love the decor and the atmosphere. Huge selection of different gins and lots of different gin drinks. The price is disappointing, it's not more than one drink. As much as I would have liked to try more.

06/12/2025: If you only visit one restaurant in Aarhus, let it be Møf! Incredibly delicious food, surprising ingredients and compositions, amazing service, perfect cocktails.

02/11/2025: I have always had a special relationship with Møf, which used to radiate passion and presence. After moving to the new premises, everything is nice and professional, but some of the soul and intimacy have unfortunately been lost. The food is still well-prepared and technically impressive, but the spark is missing a bit. On the other hand, Kristian deserves great praise for his calm and discreet service, which once made the place very special.

02/06/2026: Truly the best place to get Chinese food in all of Aarhus! I often get their chicken sweet and sour sauce with noodles and it is simply so delicious! Freshly made and full of flavor! The staff is also super nice! 10/10 I wish it was available on Wolt so I don't always have to send my girlfriend out for a drive haha

28/02/2026: You won't find better freshly prepared Chinese food than here. All food is freshly prepared and flavorful. There are many regulars here and the chef is wonderful. Always bring guests here. Can highly recommend...

13/07/2026: A bit disappointed, we ordered old fashioned apple pie, that's not what we got, Pancake (with ice cream) was not very tasty, tasted almost like flour. Super sad that the delicacies are not of a satisfactory standard. The place is otherwise cozy, we sat in the courtyard.

20/08/2026: Really nice little place with really delicious food and attentive and good service! We had brunch with 5 dishes each - and were full until dinner! We had bread (1 serving for both of us would have been enough), scrambled eggs, avocado, old-fashioned sour cream, crispy chicken with Belgian waffle, tomato, florentine (smoked salmon with egg and hollandaise), and 2* chocolate croissant 🤤 We also had their iced coffee - it is also recommended!

28/07/2026: Bought rolls and cake. 3 plain rolls and 3 sourdough. Both types of rolls were very tough and not crispy at all. The strawberry pie was not classic with a mazarin base. The base was more like a layer cake base and the cream didn't really taste of anything, and no vanilla flavor. Had heard good things about the bakery, but maybe I need to visit again, because the first one was really disappointing. It was a really nice and polite service 🙌🏻

10/09/2026: Today it is Restaurant Søgaarden in Sunds near Herning that will test their steak sandwich with gravy. We arrived here at 4:57 pm and were immediately shown a table and actually ordered right away since we knew what we wanted. The food was served at our table exactly 5:12 pm and the first impression is that the steak sandwich looks a bit anonymous and lacks any decoration that can visually pull it up (in the advertisements from them it is decorated with fried onions). But the plate is hot and all the food is hot so it was great. The bun is a standard white brioche bun that tastes quite nice. The top bun is spread with quite a bit of mustard and a little ketchup, actually nicely balanced where it just scratches a little. The bottom bun is spread with a little remoulade. Both ketchup, mustard and remoulade do not taste homemade, but as I said, nicely balanced in terms of quantity. We specifically asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare to avoid misunderstandings, and oh my, it is just right, the steak is about 180-200 grams, it is cooked perfectly medium rare, so the meat almost melts in your mouth, it is perfectly seasoned and has a lovely crust, the meat is of really good quality and flavorful. The pickled water lilies (cucumbers) are home-pickled and taste wonderful, they were a little sweet in contrast to other places where they are often sour. The home-pickled beets also tasted great and had a nice bite, and they were cut into fine squares. The only complaint with the pickling was that it was perhaps a bit crazy to only put 3 pickled cucumbers in, give it a little gas. We also find a nice amount of homemade soft onions and they were sweet and tasted of more. 🧅In addition, there were some finely chopped raw onions and some roasted onions. Last but not least, we come to the sauce and let's say it right away, it tasted like birds singing, it had a deep umami flavor and there was plenty of it. The wife thinks it's one of the best sauces for steak sandwiches she's ever had and I'm inclined to agree with her. The waiter came by twice to ask about the food, which is fine, but the garnish, the fried onions, annoyed us a bit and the table next to us also got steak sandwiches and they were nicely garnished. So we politely chose to point this out, to which the answer was oh well, then nothing more happened. Well, we end up with 4 out of 5 stars with a dash, the food is well-made, good ingredients and seasoned. The portion size is appropriate, so it's highly recommended to eat here. Now I've tried approx. 120 steak sandwiches in Denmark right from Capa, to Panorama over Ella and Kohalen and the last thing missing here at Søgaarden is a special bun, a relish or a homemade compote that just makes you say wow. DKK 198.- tjo good ingredients cost and people have to get paid, it must also be said that mayo and a portion of fine fries are included. Thanks for the food, you can easily be familiar with that.

22/08/2026: If you're looking for a quiet campsite, this isn't the place. There are loud parties in the restaurant almost every weekend. It's okay during the week, but on weekends it's really only for partygoers.

14/04/2026: Great place to stay, you are transported to another time because everything is so well preserved and functional. The breakfast is a chapter in itself, really delicious and manageable. We will be back 🙂
