17/08/2026: Worst food we have ever had, seemed like it was thawed from the freezer and thrown in a microwave, bad service, someone who couldn't understand Danish, and we had to call the waiter ourselves.... It was what I would call cafeteria food 😟

15/08/2026: A lovely place, with tables right on the edge of the stream. We had a salmon salad, which was really delicious. Good service, and okay wine. A good atmosphere, and quiet to sit and enjoy a glass of wine after dinner. Can be recommended.

22/08/2026: Super delicious. Cozy and good service - had a small dog with us who was well looked after🤗. Delicious pizzas - all in all, top recommendation from here

02/08/2026: My family and I were looking forward to “Italian pizza”, but there was nothing really Italian about it. The pizzas were soft, undercooked bottom, and the meat (ham/pancetta) was undercooked… One out of three pizzas was baked enough, and had an ok crispy edge. One piece of my pizza was crispy. Super annoying. The staff were unpleasant when politely pointed it out.

13/07/2026: Hello everyone, Girteka! There was a loading-24❄️(frozen 🥖) I arrived 1 hour earlier and was immediately given a ramp. The office is located near ramp 10. You need a loading ref, and enter yourself in the logbook. They give a map-scheme how to get to the ramp (I attach a photo 👇) Fast loading, the refrigerator must be turned off during loading, the driver must be present during loading, it is not cold in the warehouse. The entrance to the warehouse is near ramp #24. We loaded 66 europallets (18500 kg.) After loading, go to ramp #10 for documents. And that's it for departure. In the middle where the office is, the door is on the right and through the warehouse there is 🚾🚿-🚫 Pauses cannot be turned. Good luck to everyone, colleagues!!!

05/03/2026: Entrance here: 55.845906,9.761669 After entering, park immediately on the right and go to the office to the left of ramp 10. Show the refrigerated truck's loading number to the office employee. The office employee will then tell you the ramp number. We'll park on the ramp, go to the warehouse, open the truck's doors, and wait for the truck to be loaded. They load it with an electric forklift. After loading, close the truck's doors, turn on the refrigerated truck, collect the documents, and then we're on our way.

01/08/2026: It's overall really good, but I wish they'd work on getting a more consistent experience. Depending on who makes you bowl/sandwich you get an entirely different product. Some of the workers put almost twice the amount of fill as others. Some puts a lot of dressing, some don't etc. Also i wonder how they get away with hiring exclusively women lol, doesnt seem very 2026 haha.

02/07/2026: Nice selection of accessories, and many fun different ones, for example pickled apple and elderflower dressing. Paid 75 kr for a large sandwich, I think the price and quality are okay and considering it is located in Jægergårdsgade. Nice staff. Definitely best for take away. There are only a few places to sit inside and a few chairs and tables out front.

23/08/2026: Don't order their pasta dish! The so-called parmesan sauce consists of a thick bechamel sauce but without seasoning. That is, milk, flour and maybe a dollop of butter. The dish simply had no taste.

19/08/2026: There should be no bones in a smoked eel dish for 250 kr. There was a new waiter who tried his best to convey our observations.

10/07/2026: So really nice drinks, at a nice price, maybe a little too high sometimes. It's very small so it gets humid and hot down there very quickly. There's also not really room for a dance floor or for you to move around. My friends love it, but I don't see the big hype. There's also a smoking room down there.

05/07/2026: Bar with a pub atmosphere. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 4pm to 2am. You go down to the basement. At the very back is the bar, where you can buy strong drinks for cheap. For example, a long island for 150 kr. for 2. There is also a smoking room with a table. Very young people 18-24 years old come there. 13/08/2026: Highly recommend Café Garibaldi! I was in Herning one summer day on a completely different errand and needed to find a place to eat lunch. Without having done any preliminary work, I stumbled upon Café Garibaldi on a cozy square in the center. My expectations weren't really high. Because how often do you actually get an experience at a café that goes beyond the ordinary and expected? But I was genuinely surprised. First of all, Café Garibaldi is incredibly cozy. The atmosphere is fantastic, and there is a really good energy in the room. The place was well-visited by people of all ages, and you can immediately feel that there is life and soul in the restaurant. The staff was a chapter in itself. Sweet, attentive and extremely professional. Especially a young man, who I guess was either the owner or the daily manager, was a real party firework. Charismatic, welcoming and with an energy that is simply contagious. At the same time, he was razor-sharp on my questions about both the menu and the wine. I hesitated between their steak sandwich, which supposedly comes with homemade pickles and a slow-cooked sauce. But it was a hot summer day, so I went with a burger instead. And shut up, how delicious it was! A big, juicy ground beef, delicious fries and lots of dip. Exactly what you hope for when you order a good café burger. Personally, I would have liked to see pickles in the burger rather than fresh cucumbers, but that is clearly a matter of taste and just my personal preference. A little unconventionally, I felt like white wine for lunch and chose their Riesling. I was quite skeptical, because the price was very low compared to what you usually pay for even a mediocre glass of Riesling. But honestly, this was one of the best Rieslings I have ever had. Period! And last but not least, it was a pleasure to be served white wine that was actually perfectly tempered and not lukewarm, which is unfortunately experienced all too often. It can't possibly be their white wine that makes them money. In short, Café Garibaldi is a gem. Not just because of the food, but just as much because of the atmosphere, the staff and the energy the place has. The prices are on the low end, and compared to the lunch I had, it's a steal. I left with a big smile on my face and can only warmly recommend Café Garibaldi. If you're in Herning, do yourself a favor and stop by.

09/07/2026: Delicious food, especially the shooting star was really good. The vegetarian burger was also good and really good fries. I could have thought of a few more vegetarian dishes on the menu. I had a strawberry, ginger, apple shake and it was really good. The food and drinks were all in all really good. Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend the toilets. They were very small stalls where I had to be careful that my clothes did not hit the toilet bowl, the door opened into the stall, so you had to find space to close the door again. Toilet paper is the thinnest you can buy and in the toilet I was in, the roll was put on the metal clamp where there is usually a hygiene garbage bag, so it was difficult to take paper. The toilets also seem far too old and impractical compared to the rest of the restaurant. They need a renovation.

07/08/2026: Here there is a large selection of dishes. + You can also buy some old Danish dishes. For example Steak with white potatoes sauce, onions and sour, Rib steak also with white potatoes. Fried pork with parsley sauce. The staff is smiling and polite with quick service. The prices are standard.

15/03/2026: Bought 2 chicken salads and a 1/2 chicken. I have never seen such crumbled chicken on the salad and a lot of salt. Only ate a little of one. Horrible experience and the chicken was dry as hay.

14/08/2026: Unfortunately, the fried fish consisted more of breading than fish.

09/08/2026: The food tasted very good. The wait time was also acceptable. However, the price was unreasonable, even for Denmark. It was significantly cheaper in Hvide Sande.

08/05/2026: I ate at Rick’s Restaurant and Café, which I would definitely recommend people to stay far away from. The food was mediocre and way too expensive for the quality. In addition, there were hidden fees, so we ended up paying for things we didn’t order (which is illegal). There was also dust everywhere, even in the drinking glasses, which made the experience even more unappetizing. The owner was very rude and apparently didn’t think his business needed to follow the marketing law. Find somewhere else to eat, otherwise you risk paying for a really bad experience.
