06/06/2026: Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Our drinks were forgotten, and after waiting more than an hour for our pancakes, they had not even been started making them. As a result, we decided to leave without eating. What was particularly concerning was the lack of communication and customer service. There was no apology or explanation offered for the delay, and the staff appeared indifferent to the situation. Additionally, new customers continued to be seated and served while existing customers, including ourselves, were still waiting for their orders. Several tables that arrived after us received their food before we did. Also they did not have ingredients like toast for French toast and white chocholate for pancakes.

20/05/2026: One of the best places in Aarhus. It's beautiful and cozy. Food is prepared quickly. I especially love their Korean style waffle and pancakes! Highly recommended.😍

There are simply a few too many tables in a relatively small space, making the environment quite noisy. While this certainly creates a lively bistro atmosphere and a sense of energy, it can also feel a bit crowded and make conversation challenging at times. That said, the quality of the food and the positive attitude of the staff more than make up for it. If you enjoy vibrant restaurants with a buzzing atmosphere, you will likely feel right at home.

10/12/2025: We had a terrible experience with a double booking, which resulted in a grumpy and rude waiter and a lot of moving around. The food was edible, but really nothing to shout hooray for. There was wine ad libitum, but no one came and poured. The area outside looked like an abandoned backyard with no attempt to spruce it up a bit for the season. I would recommend finding another place to have Christmas lunch.

11/06/2026: The food is absolutely impeccable – their ramen was really delicious and tasty! But the restaurant itself is unfortunately a disappointment. It is a dark and dreary basement without a hint of aesthetics or cozy atmosphere. It doesn't feel like a place you want to stay.

01/04/2026: Had an excellent evening at this place. We were a larger group and selected their set menu. It was delicious and very tasty and balanced. The wines were delicious as well. Especially the German spätburgunder was something special. Only setback was that I asked for some kind of milk or oat milk without lactose for the coffee. They seemed like they never had that question before.

30/10/2025: Extreme parking guards.. poor signal makes the app possibly show the wrong address.. you are better off parking illegally in front of a biker castle. The restaurants are nice. however, the whole atmosphere is a bit Frederiksberg-like... Such an electric car, bicycle, arugula experience.

19/12/2025: Juhls Spisehus has really good service. The staff is some of the best – always friendly, welcoming and professional. The owner is incredibly sweet, polite and makes you feel very welcome. A really lovely experience, highly recommended.

18/12/2025: I won't comment much on the food. What makes me unable to recommend the place is what I've been told by several waiters: The owner supposedly keeps the tips even though they are given to the staff. I personally tip the waiter who has provided the service, with the expectation that he keeps them himself - not in the owner's pocket. In addition, according to the same sources, bad reviews are used to review who was working that day, rather than taking the criticism constructively. This creates an unsafe working environment, where the waiters are held accountable in an unreasonable way. I don't really care about the food, it's probably good. But on principle I can't support a place with that culture, at the same time making others aware of this.
