04/06/2026: Hi I'm just writing to tell you that me and my family got food poisoning from this place and threw up and couldn't eat for a whole day it's unacceptable and the pizza doesn't even cook well it's cold and dry and worst of all they don't use gloves 🤢

05/08/2026: My first time at Sooshi. Wow! We were a group of friends - they've been there before and love it. I can only say that I completely agree with them. I've been to many other sushi places before but now this will definitely be my go to, even though I have to drive to Herning for it. High level of food, I got to taste so many new things and the staff was so nice. We ate in there, but we'll also try to-go 😍 See you!👋🏼

22/04/2026: Very nice sushi place, with lots of options of sushi and more that you can chose from. It could be good to have more options without heavy sauces, but other than that nothing negative to say.

08/05/2026: Good business hotel. Good breakfast. Nice large room. Parking ok if you can get a space but not cheap which is a shame. I was here for the entire work for work and prepaid parking. One day after work I got back to find no space available even though I had paid.

19/08/2026: I don't know about the food we didn't get to taste it! We entered an hour before the closing time and asked if they are working because the place was empty. The personal told us to take a place and we will br approached to have our order. After waiting for 25 minutes and nothing happening and no one coming to us, we asked for what is happening and we were told that they take orders only to go and told us they would not take our order. It was told in a pretty rude fashion which triggered me also

17/08/2026: Congratulations on a great new restaurant. BUT … On a Saturday night, there are 4 people eating in the otherwise empty restaurant. 4 of us come in and want to eat in the new place. We were told there would be a 45 minute wait…. 45 minutes 🫣 there were 4 people eating - and it's a burger restaurant - not gourmet food. It was take away that filled up … so they probably didn't need to expand with all the new seating. We left again.

09/07/2026: Delicious food, especially the shooting star was really good. The vegetarian burger was also good and really good fries. I could have thought of a few more vegetarian dishes on the menu. I had a strawberry, ginger, apple shake and it was really good. The food and drinks were all in all really good. Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend the toilets. They were very small stalls where I had to be careful that my clothes did not hit the toilet bowl, the door opened into the stall, so you had to find space to close the door again. Toilet paper is the thinnest you can buy and in the toilet I was in, the roll was put on the metal clamp where there is usually a hygiene garbage bag, so it was difficult to take paper. The toilets also seem far too old and impractical compared to the rest of the restaurant. They need a renovation.

06/06/2026: Got a nice and cold draft beer, dry-fried steak sandwich and fries, which had been too much. Wanted to pay with Herning city gift card, but they couldn't get it to work, and they didn't do anything to help me with it.

08/07/2026: It has always been a good place but now the service is going downhill. It takes WAY too long to get the food, 45 minutes for a simple omelet. And then you get an explanation about staffing issues? Not an apology.

03/09/2026: Ordered a Pasta marinada, from which it took 45 minutes before the food came… The service is also nothing to shout hurray for, we were assigned our table from which the waiter never came. Had to go up to the cash register and order our food from there. The waiters use their phones and text/call instead of serving the customers. Would not recommend.

13/08/2026: Highly recommend Café Garibaldi! I was in Herning one summer day on a completely different errand and needed to find a place to eat lunch. Without having done any preliminary work, I stumbled upon Café Garibaldi on a cozy square in the center. My expectations weren't really high. Because how often do you actually get an experience at a café that goes beyond the ordinary and expected? But I was genuinely surprised. First of all, Café Garibaldi is incredibly cozy. The atmosphere is fantastic, and there is a really good energy in the room. The place was well-visited by people of all ages, and you can immediately feel that there is life and soul in the restaurant. The staff was a chapter in itself. Sweet, attentive and extremely professional. Especially a young man, who I guess was either the owner or the daily manager, was a real party firework. Charismatic, welcoming and with an energy that is simply contagious. At the same time, he was razor-sharp on my questions about both the menu and the wine. I hesitated between their steak sandwich, which supposedly comes with homemade pickles and a slow-cooked sauce. But it was a hot summer day, so I went with a burger instead. And shut up, how delicious it was! A big, juicy ground beef, delicious fries and lots of dip. Exactly what you hope for when you order a good café burger. Personally, I would have liked to see pickles in the burger rather than fresh cucumbers, but that is clearly a matter of taste and just my personal preference. A little unconventionally, I felt like white wine for lunch and chose their Riesling. I was quite skeptical, because the price was very low compared to what you usually pay for even a mediocre glass of Riesling. But honestly, this was one of the best Rieslings I have ever had. Period! And last but not least, it was a pleasure to be served white wine that was actually perfectly tempered and not lukewarm, which is unfortunately experienced all too often. It can't possibly be their white wine that makes them money. In short, Café Garibaldi is a gem. Not just because of the food, but just as much because of the atmosphere, the staff and the energy the place has. The prices are on the low end, and compared to the lunch I had, it's a steal. I left with a big smile on my face and can only warmly recommend Café Garibaldi. If you're in Herning, do yourself a favor and stop by.
