The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel like regulars from the very first minute. The food was outstanding — every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor, and you could really taste the care that goes into the cooking here. 30/06/2026: Anyone visiting Henne Strand simply has to stop by for a break and enjoy an ice cream or an Aperol Spritz. Ishuset is a true institution! Unfortunately, it burned down last week and it will probably be some time before it can reopen.

02/08/2026: A must in Aarhus Been there twice, once on a Sunday with a really good menu ( only that possibility) for a really a cheap price. Second visit on a Tuesday well thought how food and wine can been taken. Choose 5 dishes and 5 wines. Everything was delicious and all the wines were very well chosen. Restaurant is rather small but the atmosphere is great with a little French touch. Service was also quite good showing a lot of knowledge about the served dishes and wine.

05/09/2026: Next time I won't choose indoor seats, which are only suitable for thin people. That's not how I remember the trams of the 60s. But I was thinner back then. But the burger was great.

There is always a good atmosphere, and you feel really welcome. An absolute must if you visit Køge – We will definitely be back!
