29/05/2026: Really lovely lunch with small servings of extremely delicate homemade herring and exciting dishes and a dream of a dessert. Really good service with a nice and precise (not too long) presentation of the dishes and a wonderful atmosphere in the nice premises. Highly recommended.
24/05/2026: Have now had lunch at Christianshøjkroen twice. Exquisite dining experience. Lovely welcoming host couple who know their craft.

11/10/2025: Despite high demand and no reservation, we managed to get a table for three. There was a German menu, and the wait staff also spoke quite good German. This is mostly possible in Denmark, but not a given. We'd be happy to come back.

11/10/2025: Wonderful inn, full of atmosphere, history and hospitality. A living museum. The food is absolutely unbeatable. EVERYTHING is homemade, even the rainbow ice cream.

18/05/2026: Unfortunately, the dining experience was mixed. The appetizers were good, the main course so-so. The vegetables (asparagus and coarsely chopped, thick carrots) were half-raw and almost impossible to cut with a knife. The plate of fish with sauce wasn't preheated, so everything got cold quickly. The head waiter didn't even ask if the food was okay. All in all, not worth the price.

There are lots of places to get food from (from Afghan to Greek), as well as drinks. The savoury food I had was good (not exceptional), but the pancake (one of very few sweet options) was not great at all and VERY overpriced. A basic Nutella pancake for almost 12 EUR 😅
We watched the sun setting at the shore. Overall, a great spot to chill and enjoy in nice weather.

07/01/2026: My favorite place in Copenhagen for brunch. You really get what you pay for, and it's clear that the food is always freshly prepared. They've really nailed the buffet, which is not easy.
