14/08/2026: Nice little place with a super beautiful location. We had a seafood Sauté with shrimp and mussels. A really delicious and delicate dish. 😋😋😋 Really worth a visit.

01/08/2026: From the outside, the restaurant looked really cozy and inviting, and the setting is absolutely nothing to write home about. However, we ended up choosing it because the prices on the menu were on the very high end. This made us afraid that it was a tourist trap, and we also saw several other guests turning away. ​The food and ingredients are probably of good quality, but since we didn't eat there, we can't judge. The price level was just so high that we simply didn't dare take the chance.

17/05/2026: Varna Palaet (Varna Palace), is also known as 'Odd Fellow Palaet Varna', is located in Aarhus, Denmark. It is situated within the scenic Marselisborg Forests on Orneredevej, overlooking Aarhus Bay. Originally built in 1908 by architect Eggert Achen, it was designed in a Neoclassical style as a dining pavilion for the Danish National Exhibition of 1909. In 1970, the municipality sold the property to the local branch of the Independent order of Odd Fellows, whose distinct three-link chain logo and name can be seen on the side of the modern annex building. Today, the mansion functions primarily as an event venue, holding cultural activities, conferences, and weddings, alongside a popular on-site restaurant. Built in 1908 by architect Eggert Achen for the Danish National Exhibition of 1909. The building is owned by the 'Odd Fellow Society'. It houses lodge facilities and has a well known restaurant, which is used for weddings, conferences, and public dining. It features a Neoclassical style, notably recognized by its two octagonal towers. Our visit to Denmark was in 2025. Once again, the pleasure of seeing this place bathed in impeccable white, was enough for me. Would love to come back here one day, if given a chance. Have heard ton's of appreciation of its 'perfect cuisine' layout.

16/07/2026: Thank you for an amazing dinner. We walked by and saw the bit hidden restaurant by coincidence and decided to try it. The food was delicious and the waiter kind and helpful. He took my allergies into account and was even ready to make adaptions. The dishes were very flavourable and well balanced and tasted home made. Since it's a contemporary interpretation of asian fusion, we sometimes got pleasantly surprised by the dishes we got but have to say that the interpretations were very nice. The sake was exactly what I asked for when I asked for a recommendation. We highly recommend dining here, but don't expect the tipical weasternized asian dishes.

06/09/2026: Good place to bowl or play mini golf. Large, well-maintained premises and a pretty good selection of drinks.

31/08/2026: The place is fine and clean but the staff seemed uninterested in attending us at the bar and when we made a change of the order they were noticeable ignored. Our food came very late and we additional had to go and ask for our fries after 20min since they hadnt arrived. So the minigolf was nice but it’s not worth staying for food and drinks.

07/08/2026: “Homemade toast with Italian wheat sourdough” unfortunately seemed to both look and taste a lot like regular cheap sliced ​​wheat bread 🥲 Fair enough if you've run out of the good bread but then you could probably just say so and then give a discount.👎 But delicious with Dijon. The coffee was quite nice 👍

19/04/2026: Super nice hotel. Lovely room, nothing missing. Nice beds. The staff really makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The only downside was the coffee in the room, it wasn't to my taste. But a mega high recommendation from here, we would love to come back.

12/04/2026: We have had two fantastic days at Ruths Hotel. We were offered an upgrade from a double room to an apartment for a modest amount, which we did not regret. There was a fireplace in the living room, where firewood had been prepared. The staff at the hotel were extremely attentive, present and welcoming. We ate in the brasserie the first evening, and were well served by Benjamin who gave good guidance in terms of choosing a wine. The following evening we ate at Okes and experienced a light and friendly atmosphere here. Herbert and Loui managed to take us through the 19 courses in total with smiles and a fantastic presence. Occasionally the restaurant manager stopped by, helped with serving and we exchanged experiences with various things within the world of gastronomy. Jack Cramer was also out to present a few of the courses. All in all, a fantastic experience visiting both Ruths Hotel, and especially Restaurant Okes.

18/08/2026: This is a fantastic restaurant 😍 On their website the restaurant was fully booked. I took the chance to call and a very nice woman arranged what must be the restaurant's most beautiful table location. Upon arrival I was very well received. Service was impeccable! Skilled, smiling and always present. After two and a half hours I left the restaurant and got a good hug and the chef wished me a good evening. I find it strange that this restaurant is not Michelin. Quality of food, wine, service, full score❤️ Really recommend a visit.

09/08/2026: We were here on a Sunday evening which was normally closed but they had the restaurant open because there was a golf event in town. Therefore it was not possible to order the big Rudolf Mathis menu so we had to settle for a regular three course menu but must say that everything tasted nice and balanced a little bit boring wine menu but the reason for the five stars is that the white wine for the starter was phenomenal. The staff was very relaxed friendly and service minded all in all good atmosphere good service good wine and good food.
