De bedste restauranter

30/08/2026: It's a nice restaurant in itself. We had a reservation for two families. Unfortunately, the candle-making activity is no longer offered as described on the website, apparently because the smell bothered other guests. I can understand that, but please remove it from the website. Our children were certainly disappointed. The food was delicious for everyone. Unfortunately, some portions were very small. I could easily have eaten the same portion of salmon fillet with lemon butter and potatoes again. When I go to a restaurant, I don't want to go home hungry after the appetizer and main course. What really spoiled our visit was the very unfriendly, almost rude service from the owner. I don't think she meant any harm, but some comments are simply unacceptable for guests. She was extremely impatient at times. For example, when we wanted to order, her husband, the chef, came over and asked us a few questions. While we were answering him, she said, "If you can't decide, I can serve other guests in the meantime," who, mind you, had all already finished eating. When we got up to leave, she put away the high chairs for the two youngest children (3 and 4) and said, "I'll have to call the cleaning crew." If we wanted to order more drinks, we had to get up and go to the bar. It didn't seem to occur to her to check in on us or even just glance over. To be honest, I've never been treated like that in a restaurant before. At times, we felt more like a nuisance than welcome. Very disappointing!

28/08/2026: Best food within a 20 km radius, German-run, seasonal side dishes such as chanterelles or porcini mushrooms, and fish made with whatever was caught that day. Excellent service, everything is explained. Absolutely perfect and delicious. Unfortunately, no draft beer, but the white wine is very good. As previously mentioned, there's also a small play area for children. Great atmosphere for the area.

31/07/2026: Always friendly staff, good food and it's always super nice to eat here. We always go here when we want a good pepper steak because they are good at cooking the steaks so they are nice and tender and juicy. Their pizzas are big and there is always plenty of filling.

04/09/2026: Bread St is a bit like Casino: Don't go in with more money than you can spend. But here you won't just lose your money, you'll get the absolute tastiest baked goods.

17/08/2026: The best bread in Charlottenlund area. The staff if very friendly, they will make you a fresh cheese sandwich or bread roll. Also the cakes are delicious, the apple pie tasted exactly like my grandma use to make! Made me very emotional. Coffee is also good. Please visit and support local business!

12/04/2026: Super delicious food. 👌 I often buy from there and they never fail. Crispy vegetables and a good curry sauce that is a little fatty in it. 🤩 The curry sauce can be a little strong for people who are not used to eating chili. 🌶️

07/07/2026: Really nice fresh fish. Good service from the fishmonger who gives suggestions for preparation. The quality is top notch. I highly recommend the homemade fish fritters and the freshly made hot fillets. You can wait 15 minutes right outside, and longer on the other side of the road.

31/08/2026: Visited in August 2026. We had the set menu, the juice pairing and a cocktail. All the dishes were good, with a nice balance of tastes and textures, yet none of the dishes was memorable. The overall dining experience was great, with lots of food, nice drinks, and good service, all for a reasonable price.

29/08/2026: Had the 12-course evening menu, which is a string of great tasting experiences. They have just switched to the autumn menu, which will run for three months. There is a great focus on quality in the flavors and even though there are several smaller servings, you definitely leave the table full. The service was friendly and attentive. Good and cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. We ate for just over two hours, which just flew by.

04/07/2026: Really good burger lovers, you also get gloves to eat with! Not the best seating in the restaurant, but that's enough.

11/05/2026: I was there a few years ago. They were my favorite burgers when I lived in Denmark. Now I'm going on vacation to Denmark. We'll see if they're still delicious. Cheers!
