06/12/2025: Oh, how nice it was to come here. Lots of fun small and large creations that everyone can participate in. There aren't the greatest options when it comes to food, but what was there was enjoyed. Will probably come back at some point.

23/09/2025: Cozy place for children and childlike souls. Sound level is not quite good.

24/08/2025: We decided to go there spontaneously and were given a very warm welcome by Jan and Gitte. The park golf course is great fun, and the grounds are maintained like a golf course. After a pleasant wine tasting, we slept peacefully in the RV. Thank you Gitte and Jan for your hospitality! We'll be back!

24/08/2025: We did a wine tasting, which was absolutely outstanding. The owners were able to explain each wine to us laymen, and afterward, we were given a tour of the impressive winery.

24/09/2025: There was a long line even on a weekday, the food was delicious, we ordered a chicken sandwich, the only thing we didn't like was that the chicken was cold, the pie and coffee 👍🏼 there weren't many seats and we had to wait for one to become free😔 but otherwise everything was fine.

31/10/2025: i wish every restaurant did this trio choice thing , it would really save me so much emotional turmoil from indecision every single time i go out. pizzas were also a good size and i think the price was reasonable — PLUS, you get your own mini pizza cutter which i thought was super fun. the space was a bit small but it really added to the nice quaint, cozy vibe. i got the sweet cheesus, rosemary bacon, and the fall special pumpkin & parmesan. my favourite was probably the sweet cheesus, which was slightly sweet, super warm and juicy with stretchy, melted cheese, and was just super comforting. i also really enjoyed the balance of the smoky, salty bacon and the slight sweetness of the crunchy pumpkin slices, along with the faint aroma of the rosemary. the pumpkin & parmesan was not really as notable, and i wish there was a stronger, sweeter pumpkin flavour. the chili flakes did add a nice spice to it though. i also tried the truffle and thyme, which had a lot of mushrooms with a really strong wild mushroom taste to it, and honestly not enough truffle. all the crusts were quite crispy, but the dough did get just slightly too chewy/tough for me as it cooled pretty quickly. i recommend getting a dip because eating the crust is always better with a dip.

01/01/2026: We visited the café to celebrate my husband's birthday – and we were really impressed. The service was attentive and pleasant, and the food was top notch. We ordered three different dishes, and each of them was an experience in itself. An extra nice detail was that part of the amount could be paid with a gift card. The atmosphere also deserves praise – calm background music, cozy decor and a warm atmosphere, where you want to stay a little longer. The money we spent was worth it. We left full and with good memories. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

19/10/2025: Very friendly service. Small but adequate menu. We were here to eat the typical Danish dish, Stjerneskud. We didn't have to wait too long. The food was delicious, and our special requests were accommodated. The portions were also generous. The price and quality were absolutely reasonable. When ordering drinks, always specify the size, otherwise you'll get 500ml.

17/10/2025: Cozy surroundings, the food tasted good but there was a wait of about 35 minutes for lunch.

24/09/2025: For 27 years, we've had the best Romkogler cheese here. Now, in 2025, we have our last chance to buy them. The bakery will be closing in November. In 2026, we'll have to decide what to do next.

11/05/2026: We stayed overnight at Marienlyst Strandhotel on Saturday, May 9th to celebrate our 1st anniversary. I have previously visited the hotel many times with my parents and have always been very happy with the place. The service has been first class in the past, and I have often recommended the hotel to others. That is why I was also looking forward to introducing my boyfriend to the place, as he had never been there before. Unfortunately, the stay did not live up to our expectations at all. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a young man at the reception, who gave us really good and friendly service. Unfortunately, it was the only positive service experience we had during our entire stay. When we got to the room, we noticed that it did not seem properly cleaned. On the balcony there were old grape stalks and a large brown stain that looked like feces from an animal or something similar. The windows were also very dirty. We chose to ignore it and continued to enjoy our stay. Later, we went down to the wine shop to buy a bottle of wine for the room. I asked the employee if they had any wines on offer, to which I was met with a condescending look and the answer: “No? This is a hotel.” The comment made us feel very uncomfortable and not particularly welcome, so we left without buying anything. We then sat on the terrace, where you could buy drinks, but the atmosphere and service meant that we chose to leave the hotel and instead go to Helsingør Street Food, where we had a really nice experience. When we got back, we were going to the spa, which we had otherwise been looking forward to. Unfortunately, here too, we experienced a lack of service. The spa area generally appeared worn and poorly maintained. Water was dripping from an outdoor pool into the area by the sauna, several tiles were broken, and the facilities generally did not meet expectations for a spa stay in this price range. We sat in the sauna after being told that it was allowed to be used outside of saunagus hours. Shortly afterwards, however, we were asked to go out again by a sauna master who had to get ready. We of course fully understood this, but the tone could have been much more welcoming. The other sauna was also not in very good condition. We had been recommended to book the spa in the evening to avoid too many people, but the spa area was still very crowded. We had to wait a long time to get a seat in the jacuzzi, the steam room did not work properly, and there was even a used snuff box in there. In general, we were left with the feeling that the hotel had become a money machine, where everything cost extra. Things like parking and sauna massage, which had previously been included, now had to be purchased separately. At the same time, the hotel seemed overcrowded and understaffed, and the staff often seemed stressed or uninterested in the guests' experience. Back in the room, we experienced several problems. The hot water in the shower did not work properly, and it took several minutes for the water to get hot. The water pressure was also very low. When we tried to use the bathtub, water started leaking onto the floor. The hotel also had a strange smell in several places, especially in the hallways. Overall, the hotel appears to be in need of a thorough renovation. Unfortunately, we also experienced receptionists who seemed dismissive, ignoring or as if we were a nuisance when we asked questions. In addition, it was disappointing to discover that you no longer have access to Netflix in the rooms, as you previously had, and the remote control did not work either. The most annoying thing about the stay, however, was the feeling of not being welcome. We had paid 5,418 kr. for one night with breakfast and spa (without dinner!) and unfortunately it did not feel worth the money at all! This will therefore be our last visit to the hotel.

30/11/2025: Absolutely amazing place with the coziest atmosphere, not to mention the absolutely wonderful owner! He made us feel at home straight away. The food was so good. Croissants come straight from Paris, wow! I recommend everyone to go here. Many thanks for a magical experience.
