16/08/2026: We went for lunch today. We hadn't booked, but they were very kind and seated us right away. It wasn't a problem for me, a celiac. They cooked an excellent gluten-free pasta Bolognese (perfectly cooked, by the way), and, a rare treat for us celiacs, I even got to enjoy dessert (mango panna cotta, out of this world!). The lasagna and pizza we ordered were also delicious: quality ingredients and true Italian flavor. We truly felt at home and recommend it to all Italians (and non-Italians) who want authentic cuisine. The owners, a lovely couple, are kind and helpful. Thank you!

24/08/2026: La Cabra is a special bakery whose reputation extends far beyond the borders of Denmark. Accordingly, it always appears when you search online for the best bakeries in Denmark. We also visited during our trip to Aarhus. The bakery is extremely stylishly furnished, clean, and features a viewing window into the bakery. The pastries are neatly displayed, each piece individually presented as if to be given special attention. You can tell that La Cabra doesn't just want to be a bakery, but also aims to function as a brand with its Nordic purity. It's a shame there's no seating inside. Perhaps this was a deliberate choice to emphasize the tranquility of the shop? At least there's a bench outside the bakery where you can sit if you don't want to take your pastries to go or eat them elsewhere. We opted for the classic cardamom bun and a cinnamon roll. The cardamom bun was visually stunning. Exquisitely crafted, intricately shaped, and simply beautiful to behold. The flavor was wonderfully buttery and sweet, with just the right amount of cardamom. The dough was soft yet chewy—not in a negative way, but rather in a way that prevented it from crumbling and offered a satisfying texture. Truly an outstanding pastry! The cinnamon roll was different. It had a flaky, marbled, and slightly crispy dough with a light and airy bite. The cinnamon flavor was intense, and the roll was coated in a delicious glaze. Unexpected, but equally delicious. Presumably, it's a signature pastry, not an attempt to replicate the classic cinnamon roll, but rather, like the cardamom bun, a unique contrast. We were absolutely impressed by both pastries and, like many before us, wholeheartedly recommend La Cabra to every visitor to Aarhus.

21/08/2026: We got a cinnamon bun, a cardamom bun, and a rye bread here. We haven't tasted the bread yet, but the 2 coffee cakes were very good.👌 If you aren't from Denmark, it is very pricey. (For 2 coffee cakes and 1 loaf, you currently pay around €10 in Belgium; here it was €19). But, still happy with our purchase; it was very good quality and very tasty! 😋

30/08/2026: The coffee shop in the corner of the market has a great spot where you can sit on a high stool and gaze out the window, lost in thought...

29/08/2026: I ordered two cappuccinos with oat milk, they were so delicious! I even ordered a small cappuccino with regular milk! The coffee smelled amazing! It's the best coffee I've had in Copenhagen 😋 It would be perfect if the milk foam were a bit denser and finer! (The map 🗺️ shows the country names correctly 👍🏾🇹🇼)

23/05/2026: I really regret not coming here sooner. Everything I tried was incredibly delicious. The staff are very warm and friendly.

29/11/2025: This place was a delight. They found an accomodation for us, even though we spontanepusly walked in! Super friendly staff. We had the weekend tasting menu and I cannot single out one dish as the star. Each and every plate was delicious and unique with its palette of flowers. Would highly recommend to vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians out there!

27/11/2025: Mind blown. Such a fun and tasty experience (with great colleagues!) All vegan food should be this good—if it were, we’d have a lot less environmental issues in the world! The cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks are also amazing. It is so nice to eat vegan and skip alcohol and have more than one option on the menu!!

20/08/2026: We ate here on Tuesday. We've known the place for a long time and were really looking forward to it. The food was fantastic again; my highlight, believe it or not, was the salad dressing—a kind of garlic oil, or something like that. The weather should cooperate for eating in, as you can only sit outside, but you have a great view of the harbor. Absolutely fascinating! Highly recommended!!!

27/07/2026: We went there today and had Lotus biscoff, passion fruit and mango ice cream. My daughter has another flavour but it was also good. So I am here to write a review, Dear RAJISSIMO your ice-cream and service is really great. We were welcomed with a 😊 smile. It was our first experience at this place but we will definitely come again🥰. The guy who was working there was so polite and professional.

16/08/2026: The city's absolute best-tasting pizza. Limited selection, but with a focus on quality. The outdoor seating is cozy, the atmosphere indoors is not as cozy.
