26/05/2026: Had a pedicure with shellac and a foot massage. I think the hygiene is really bad, files are reused, I have doubts about the other tools - everything seemed dusty and dirty. You get some flip-flops, again - are they cleaned between customers? The kitchen is right next door - and of course you have to have lunch, but it ruins the relaxing atmosphere a bit when it smells of food out of the blue 🤣 The nails were nice, thorough work there. My friend also got acrylics done on her hands, they don't use ventilation at the tables, it was a bit unpleasant with acrylic dust and the smell from it too. All in all, a disappointing experience, but the staff is super nice and accommodating, they were nice and got us in at the same time even though we had booked in advance, and they should be thanked for that! But unfortunately we won't be back.

09/06/2026: We had a fantastic experience at Hotel Koldingfjord. Everything was top class! From check-in to check-out. Staff was very nice and friendly, rooms were clean, food at the restaurant tasted fantastic. There is nothing negative to say at all. Huge recommendation from here. Hotel Koldingfjord helped make our wedding day even more fantastic!

09/06/2026: The hotel is beautifully situated down to Koldiing fjord with their own bridge where ships can dock. The food is really good and varied. The buildings are historic and really beautiful.

16/11/2025: You would have gotten 10 stars too, if you could give it. By far the best restaurant experience of my life. The food was absolutely insanely good with a good mix of experimental combinations and more classic dishes. The setting and atmosphere were also impeccable, but where you deserve 10 stars is in the service level. Absolutely outstanding! Everyone - and there were many - who served us was skilled, knowledgeable, down to earth and clearly passionate. The same applied to Rasmus and Søren, who were both past the table, which was super cool - down to earth and passionate; like everyone else. Furthermore, it was really cool to experience that the only thing it was about was giving us the best possible experience - which we got to that extent. An extra shot and praise to the two waiters who were at our table the most. A young, Danish student waiter and a South African waiter. Service on an unprecedented level! We say thank you very much - and will definitely come again!

Its founder remains the only chef in the world to hold the full Bocuse d’Or trilogy — gold, silver, and bronze — a detail that feels evident in every plate: methodical technique, balanced creativity, and immaculate execution. Flavours are diverse without ever feeling forced; the aesthetics are impeccable; and the non-alcoholic pairing elevates the experience to a standard that many Michelin-starred restaurants have yet to reach. After working through Copenhagen’s most celebrated dining rooms, this is, without question, my definition of a true three-star meal. Danish Tradition ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A visually striking opening. Seaweed saltiness meets herring umami, brightened by a clean herbal lift from dill. Smoked Roe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crisp yet tender with a delicate smokiness; the finish lands on a gentle dairy sweetness and the subtle pop of cured roe. Boiled Beetroot ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Devoid of any earthiness — pure sweetness with cherry-like fruitiness, followed by a whisper of fresh horseradish. Caviar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pleasant but optional. Well-made, though not a standout in this context. Oysters ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Warm, plump oysters finished over heat; paired with pickled celeriac for a harmonious sweet–sour counterpoint. Kohlrabi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crisp kohlrabi and apple acidity layered with a creamy sauce and saline depth from caviar — full and satisfying. Today’s Harvest ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Acidic, sweet, smoky, creamy, crisp, soft — a beautifully orchestrated study of vegetables. A far more layered experience than Arpège’s vegetable tasting. Chamomile ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bright and fragrant with citrus–botanical notes; pear sweetness rounds out the acidity elegantly. Chocolate ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A perfect finale: aromatic chocolate sphere; silky mousse with nutty granules; a tiny bar reminiscent of Magnum. Flavours of Madagascar cacao emerge with light acidity and cherry-like fruit tones. 15/01/2026: Excellent atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff, and superb pasta. I highly recommend the Tartufo! Portions are perfectly sized, and absolutely delicious. It’s nice to sit at communal tables and enjoy the laid back aesthetic. Will surely be visiting again!

23/12/2025: Trying the traditional Danish fleskesteg here was a really nice experience! We sat outside and enjoyed the popular view of Copenhagen. The staff were friendly too. A bit pricey, but definitely worth trying!

02/01/2026: Cannot expect to have authentic Mexican in Copenhagen, but this comes close to it with a few twists. I didn’t care for some of them such as shiso leaves and pistachios in the guacamole. I also wasn’t pleased with the prefix menu as there were only a few things that I wanted to try But all it was good that I gave it a try and that I was in the neighborhood

18/05/2026: An unplanned solo visit to Maven for an early dinner exceeded all expectations. From the genuinely friendly and attentive service, to impeccable interior (inside an old church!) and absolutely delicious food (the compliment bread and butter is to die for). Kudos to the team - I could see they have a good internal culture and truly enjoy working there. One small area of improvement: while the music was nice, the playlist was way too short (~10 songs looped). I didn’t mind because I love Olivia Dean 😁 But it can be tiring and a bit annoying. Nevertheless, adding Maven to the list of my favorite places and will certainly come back!

14/05/2026: Coming all the way from the USA, I can honestly say this place is absolutely worth visiting! The food looks amazing and tastes even better. The atmosphere is fantastic, the prices are very reasonable, and the beer selection is excellent with plenty of great options to choose from. The staff and owners are incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re nearby, do yourself a favor and come enjoy some delicious food along with beautiful views of the sea. Definitely a spot I’ll remember and recommend to others!

13/05/2026: Frankel 5 in Havneby is a restaurant where you can truly relax and enjoy yourself. The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We had the Stjerneskud, the star platter, and were completely satisfied. The service and ambiance are first-class. We give it 5 stars and our highest recommendation.

14/06/2026: A fantastic bakery with a wide selection of cakes and pastries, so there's truly something for everyone. We bought a Blåvand wreath and a custard stick. Both were delicious, and for a total of €11, seven adults were able to enjoy them – excellent value for money. We were also particularly impressed by the friendly staff. We received excellent service and were able to communicate easily in German, which made shopping there a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Blåvand. We'll definitely be back!
