05/08/2026: They were super friendly and served us even close to closing time. There are quite a few different drink options both generic and specials. We got our drinks while waiting and the food was ready in minutes. The food not only looked and smelled amazing but also tasted great. It can still be modified with condiments, such as toppings and extra sauces, although I personally thought it wasn't necessary. The portions are quite big, so it's also great for sharing multiple meals. I opted for the Pad Thai with tofu and was even asked if I could eat eggs, depending on whether I needed a vegetarian or vegan version. I had the Thai Iced Tea to go with it which was amazing and not too sweet. My parents shared the Curry Tasting Menu, which was a good amount of food and also tasted amazing. Sadly didn't get a picture of that one though.

02/08/2026: You could tell it was during the SMUK festival. The place was completely full of diners, even outside it was busy. I had a steak sandwich, one of the restaurant's famous dishes, good and big.

08/08/2026: Very, very delicious sandwich 🥪 There are several to-go options.

03/08/2026: Probably the only place in the area where you can have a beer! And good beer and a cocktail at that. The bartender knows what he's selling and was helpful. The garden isn't too big, and only open until 9 PM, then you have to move inside. But the atmosphere is great and unique, so if you're looking for a good beer, this is the place to go.

22/08/2026: A really nice experience at Siang Jiang in the heart of Slagelse. The restaurant has a long history and is run by a local family, which can also be felt in the cozy and personal atmosphere. The setting is nice and modern. The buffet offers a good and varied selection with both hot dishes, sushi and Mongolian barbecue. There is also an ice cream buffet and chocolate fountain, so there is definitely something for most people. The owner appears to be a humble and welcoming character who goes around and makes the guests feel welcome. The service is fast and efficient, which is probably also due to the fact that there are many waiters at work. There is also a nice discount scheme with a stamp card, where the 11th visit is free. Table reservations are recommended, as the place can be busy. Good parking conditions nearby - just remember to park your parking disc. All in all, a cozy and solid buffet restaurant with a large selection, good service and a nice, local atmosphere.

24/06/2026: Small hyggelig sandwich café. In the Latin Quarter. Three steps down, and you're ready for the best coffee break ever. ⭐⭐⭐🍭⭐

20/06/2026: Super cute and comfy spot with a few outdoor tables and seating for 10 inside. Nice chai and dirty chai as well.

10/08/2026: A very wide selection. Excellent baked goods, reasonably priced and fresh. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The owner speaks excellent German and is always ready to assist. I went there every morning, and it always brightened my day. I'd gladly go back anytime.

27/06/2026: The old Il Castello was amazing and mighty heavenly. At the same time, they had really nice owners. I just don't know if I would say that's still true. Since the owners changed, the service has only gotten worse and even worse than that, the pizza has become something I couldn't possibly describe as better than mediocre. In a society with less reliance on local restaurants and more need for delivery, the new Il Castello is a sellout that only focuses on delivery platforms and they are not doing well, it wouldn't surprise me if they had to change owners for the 28th time. 24/08/2026: They serve the exact same touristy smørrebrød as on Nyhavn (the perpendicular street). But here they cost 160 SEK, while just ten meters away the price goes up to 199 SEK. We tried the fish smørrebrød platter, which we enjoyed, unaware that there were much better options available, but mostly outside of Copenhagen.

05/07/2026: (Ordered via Uber Eats.) The fries (for 65kr!) were soggy - not just soft, but literally wet. The pizzas were among the worst we've ever had, and in no way resemble the ones shown in the pictures on Uber Eats, or on their own website! I wouldn't recommend anyone else to buy pizza here. The crusts were tough and tasted unbaked. The tomato sauce had no tomato flavor, the cheese was a dried-out layer of fat. The ham was not whole pieces of sliced ​​ham (as in the picture), but dried-out strips. We paid 350kr for two pizzas and one fries, which is a decidedly pig-like price for such a piece of junk. (The salad mayonnaise cost 22kr!)

29/05/2026: Big selection of vegan options and everything on the menu tastes great! We keep coming back and it never disappoints. The people working here are sweet and food comes quickly. Highly recommend 😊
