27/06/2026: The old Il Castello was amazing and mighty heavenly. At the same time, they had really nice owners. I just don't know if I would say that's still true. Since the owners changed, the service has only gotten worse and even worse than that, the pizza has become something I couldn't possibly describe as better than mediocre. In a society with less reliance on local restaurants and more need for delivery, the new Il Castello is a sellout that only focuses on delivery platforms and they are not doing well, it wouldn't surprise me if they had to change owners for the 28th time. 01/09/2026: Great place to eat at a good price. Easy to figure out: first you order your dish and bowl size or something else from the menu, then you sit down and they call you. The staff is friendly, the food is very good and plentiful. I had the Sichuan appetizer and another dish. Be careful, ask them to remove the cilantro if it's on your dishes, as it could have a soapy taste (depending on your taste buds).

24/08/2026: They serve the exact same touristy smørrebrød as on Nyhavn (the perpendicular street). But here they cost 160 SEK, while just ten meters away the price goes up to 199 SEK. We tried the fish smørrebrød platter, which we enjoyed, unaware that there were much better options available, but mostly outside of Copenhagen.

24/06/2026: What a joy to simply be able to buy delicious pastries, bread, cookies, and flour when you have a gluten allergy. Delicious cake, be sure to try the apple variety, the lemon variety, and the cheesecake! both in Aarhus and in Vejle

10/06/2026: Fantastic gluten-free bakery! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The rolls and bread had an amazing texture and flavor, and the cakes were excellent as well. It’s not easy to find gluten-free baked goods of this quality. On top of that, the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. You can really feel the care and passion behind this place. Highly recommended for anyone looking for outstanding gluten-free baking in Denmark!

06/09/2026: There is a cozy intimate atmosphere and a wide selection of tea and coffee, as well as delicious homemade cakes. The waitresses are smiling and polite so you always leave in a good mood.

19/08/2026: Super friendly staff. The rye bread with cherries (!) is amazing and always sells out shortly after baking. I've never eaten such delicious bread. The pastries are also fantastic. The chocolate cinnamon roll is worth every indulgence... The price/performance ratio is OK. A bit pricey, but everything is handmade. Five stars and a definite recommendation.

04/08/2026: It's a bakery. The goods are very high quality, and the staff is very friendly (Danish, English, German). You can also get a few other things you might need (milk, butter, etc.).
