15/07/2026: We spent a full month at Zoku and enjoyed our stay overall. The room was clean and practical in a DIY sort of way, and having free housekeeping available anytime we called for it was a really nice perk. Since Zoku is a B Corp, there's no AC, only ventilation, which meant we ended up switching rooms three times because of some issues, so that's worth knowing going in. The location is about 45 minutes to an hour from the city center and not really walkable, though Amager Fælled right behind the building was a lovely spot to walk to, everything else meant biking (about 15 minutes) or taking the metro. Having a Fotex and a Netto just around the corner made day-to-day life easy, and breakfast was genuinely good, we never got around to trying the pizzas, which we regret. What would have made it even better, especially over a month-long stay, are the small personal touches: staff remembering our names, someone checking in about the AC issues throughout that week, even just being recognized at the rooftop restaurant we ate at every single day. Thomas, the GM, was the exception to this and was genuinely generous and helpful when we had to switch rooms, and it made a real difference. Zoku's own tagline says it's "a place you can call your second home, even on your first visit," and it's exactly those little things, being called by name, someone checking in, that would turn a good stay into one I'd recommend and come back to every time.

05/06/2026: The concept of having the reception and the breakfast room at the roof-top is just amazing, especially when it's coupled with a sound of birds (artificial but pretty realistic though) and plants everywhere. I loved how well furnished is the loft and well thought is its design. The personal is welcoming and nice at all times. It's less than 5 minutes walking distance from the metro station DR Byen that is just 2 stations away from the city center, so very well located. The only disappointing aspect was the fact that housekeeping is upon request. So if you don't feel like requesting things while you stay at a place, then maybe you should mention it at the start of your stay that you want housekeeping on a certain cadence. Otherwise you'll not get your place cleaned and tidied. It felt great staying at this place for a week. I will definitely look for a future stay at Zoku, either in Paris or back in Copenhagen.

05/08/2026: We have eaten here twice now where the first time was nice with a good selection for brunch. The second time we came here we were told that they had closed the brunch service even though it was supposed to be open for 2 more hours according to the website. What made it even worse was that we saw others being served brunch after they had told us it was closed.

28/07/2026: First timer here, dined in by myself. I booked a reservation at 11:45 and came a bit early. Instead of the high table inside that I originally booked, I sat outside to enjoy the weather. I had brunch and cappucino as my drink. Food was generally okay. Scrambled egg was basic, chorizo was served a little warm, and the bacon was crispy. I enjoyed the yoghurt and the sandwich with ham and cheese. The worst part of this experience was the waiting. I waited for approximately 40 mins (and this is not an exaggeration since I had time stamps from my boyfriend and I's Whatsapp conversation lol). In between my waiting, I followed up with the server about my food and she said that it is coming in a sec and that they were busy. Okay... Anyway, by the time my food arrived, I was famished. I'm glad that the portion was exactly enough for me. I left my table with a clean plate.

07/08/2026: Super good place, can definitely recommend their Fried Pork with parsley sauce, we got new potatoes. Was eminently good. The pork was not dry, the potatoes cooked just right. And then there is pork ad libitum. Plus a fantastic, sweet and friendly and helpful staff. Definitely worth a visit.

06/08/2026: Nice cafe. Nice staff. Patio not so good.

19/08/2026: The place is nice, it transports you to a Danish atmosphere. The burger is really good, the meat is juicy and delicious, a real treat! Their lemonade is really good and not too sweet, it's perfect!

18/08/2026: Nice place, great drink selection. Very tasty milkshake. The meat is delicious, but I wouldn't recommend the spicy burger—it was a bit greasy for me.

16/07/2026: Good bagels and good service! Cozy area. Friendly staff. All in all a good place if you want a tasty sandwich and bagel. It has become a bit expensive..But other than that the place is not bad. It is not gourmet food that will blow you away. But it is good and tasty.

25/05/2026: Really a good experience. It was incredibly busy and even though there was only one employee, he kept the mood up so that it didn't spoil the atmosphere. Also, the food tasted really good, their hot chili was 10/10! Finally before we left, the employee even apologized for the slightly longer wait. Huge thanks, and great respect from here

30/07/2026: Here you can enjoy really delicious pizzas outside when the weather is nice. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for Copenhagen.

26/07/2026: Try their sandwiches. They are super good.

28/08/2026: Super cosy little urban spot on a corner of authentic old school Copenhagen district, Islands Brygge - with a twist of 21st century hipster style. Nice staff, good coffee, fresh brunch.

19/08/2026: Delicious breakfast! And infrared heaters for the outdoor tables.

09/08/2026: We love their burgers - they are huge with homemade bread and smells of grill - highly recommended - you really get something for your money -! Their pizza is also very good. We have both picked up food and had it delivered several times - the staff is always friendly and we love their own delivery which is always so nice

09/07/2026: After new owners the place is not worth visiting. Small example:. The price difference between a regular burger and a cheeseburger is 4 kroner. But if you buy a burger menu and want cheese in the burger, they charge 12 kroner extra.

17/08/2026: Good pizzas with good ingredients. And they go lightning fast! Went by yesterday, and they seemed to be a bit busy. Ordered two pizzas and a sandwich. And was told 10 minutes, but barely had time to look down at the phone before my food was ready.

17/08/2026: Really good pizzeria with good Italian ingredients and you can taste it in their pizzas.

18/07/2026: probably the best boulders gym in regards to location+amount of problems. The setters there are super nice and have fun ideas. Always something new during the month. Only bad thing is the new gym area they implemented that cut an interesting chunk of the gym. Oh well..

05/06/2026: This Sydhavn gym is becoming less and less democratic. The green and yellow problema have been significantly reduced for at least four weeks now. It’s my second time here in two weeks and I can find the good greens and yellows like I had been doing since February, when I started climbing. Not to mention the removal of one of the best wall of all gyms to turn it into a piece of PureGym/SATS or something like that… a big shame. It used to be the most beginner-friendly of all Boulders. After all, we gotta start somewhere.

04/08/2026: Supper rude staff! The monkey gin on the wall says 100 kr but they wanted to charge me 150, they said they made a mistake! When I asked them to adjust the price because thats what the sign says, they were extremely rude and told me that it would stupid of me to believe it would be so cheap anf that i should use. common sense! Super rude and condescending! Never stepping a foot there again! Update : this is exactly how it went! You are very rude ! to me and Christian (my boyfriend). Back then you called me stupid and now you are indirectly implying that im lying! I don't accept your appology!
