06/01/2026: We stayed close to this café, so we visited it regularly during our time in Copenhagen. We tried several cafés in the city, and Kaffevaerk definitely ranks among the top two. The latte is excellent, both with regular milk and oat milk – great foam, perfect temperature, and a really rich coffee flavor nicely mixed with milk. Highly recommended to anyone passing by 😊

20/11/2025: Really good coffee. There's nothing wrong with it. However, I have to make a criticism. I always used to buy my coffee from them both online and in store, but they have recently raised prices by, in some cases, over 33% from one day to the next. Their website has changed layout/design again and again and it is still super annoying to use. Last but not least, their new bags are just not as nice as their old design. I buy my coffee elsewhere now..

27/03/2026: Very cozy restaurant, in the middle of Hornbæk We only had a drink, but the atmosphere can't be found anywhere else? If you're into coziness and a good atmosphere, visit this place.

05/04/2026: Without a doubt the most shawarma-filled durum I've ever had in Copenhagen! Stop there was a lot of meat in it! In addition, I was allowed to take a free soda with me from the sweet employees. Mega cool experience, highly recommended. My go-to from now on!

19/12/2025: The worst, soggy pizza I've ever had. Oh my, it was covered in a thick soggy mozzarella, totally dry, nothing to do with a Pizza and absolutely no taste. It went straight into the bin along with an equally bad calzone. Never again will I eat from this place, amazing that they haven't learned from all the negative reviews???

11/07/2025: Really cool atmosphere and good food. Takes you to Berlin and the atmosphere at outdoor bars there. Relaxed and nice place with good service.

15/04/2026: ​Good pizzas, but inedible steak and strange service ​My wife and I usually order pizza from here, which is always excellent. This time, however, we chose to eat in the restaurant and try their steak. It was a huge disappointment. ​The food was definitely inedible. The mashed potatoes clearly tasted like powdered mash, and the meat was inedible. My wife took two bites of her steak, and I ate half, before we simply had to give up and leave the rest. ​When the waiter asked about the food afterwards, we honestly told him that we couldn't eat it. He apologized, but his next move was very strange: He took our plates into the kitchen to taste the food we had just eaten. ​Even though we sent back two almost untouched portions, the restaurant only offered us to get rid of one dish. We protested and of course only meant that we should pay for our drinks, since the food was inedible, but unfortunately we ended up having to pay for the one plank steak anyway. Stick to their pizzas, they are fine – but avoid the plank steak for all you know.
