05/09/2025: Got a portion of nachos, it was a bit disappointing for 109kr. No sour cream, guacamole from the supermarket, same with salsa, cheese poorly distributed, and quickly heated in the microwave. For 109kr I expect a little better, honestly. Be aware that the menu on their website has different ingredients on some dishes than the menu on site.

05/09/2025: It was definitely the last chance, never again. The food is excellent, but now we have tried to order food via the website for the third time, communication by email is that the food is ready for pickup 30 minutes later, and when you arrive they haven't even started preparing the food. All three times it has been a completely normal weekday evening around 5 pm, so not rush hour in any way. It's fine to call.

01/05/2026: April 29, 2026 (Wed) 1. Food As stated on the website, there were about 10 to 15 main dishes, which was sufficient. It was nice to have sweet and sour pork, fried chicken, Dongpo pork, stir-fried beef, curry chicken, rice, stir-fried noodles, stir-fried vegetables, meatballs, chicken soup, stir-fried pork, and vegetables (cucumber, tomato, pickles, bell peppers, carrots, cabbage, etc.), plus shrimp chips for dessert. The stir-fried noodles were occasionally hard because they were over-fried, but the rest of the food was above average. 2. Service If you place your finished plates aside, the waiter will keep clearing them. I was worried after seeing other reviews mentioning racism and poor service, but there was absolutely nothing like that. 3. Price For the all-you-can-eat option (128 DKK), one drink per person is mandatory. If you order the cheapest drink, tap water (30 DKK), you get 500ml of ice water. When paying by card, the terminal asks if you want to tip; if you do not wish to tip, simply press 0. I pressed 0 for the tip, so the bill should have been 158 DKK per person, totaling 316 DKK, but a fee of 9.38 DKK was added. Please keep in mind that places in Denmark often charge separate fees like this. I think this is a great deal considering the quality and price in Denmark. I highly recommend it for budget travelers.

16/04/2026: I've often come by and gotten a box, but the older lady who serves customers is simply so angry, slow and gives such poor service that I can't support the place anymore. It takes a lot to be so angry that customers on the go notice. It's a real shame, but I'll find a new place to eat in the future. Imagine throwing away free money. I don't get it!

31/12/2025: Not recommended. Had a table for 5pm, but arrived at 4pm to a completely empty restaurant. Was greeted by the most flabby guy at the entrance. He didn't even say hello or welcome. I asked him if we could come to the table now, or alternatively just sit and have a drink somewhere in an otherwise completely empty restaurant. Both requests were just met with a no, after which a female employee of the restaurant came over and said we could easily have the table right away. First I started by ordering 2 cocktails, but only received one of them. 10-15 minutes later we asked a waiter where the other cocktail was. Another 5-10 minutes passed before she came back with a receipt that we had only ordered one cocktail. I showed her our order on their smartphone ordering system, which clearly stated we had ordered 2 cocktails. She then took my phone and ordered the one we hadn't received again. We received it shortly after. So by the time we received the second cocktail, I had already drunk mine - super bad service. The food was excellent, but when I was about to pay for 2x all you can eat and our 2 cocktails, they entered 3 cocktails. They don't do that for me, so I was quick to say that we only ordered and drank 2 cocktails.

07/12/2025: We haven't been to Kasai (as a chain) for a few years after moving from Copenhagen. We used to have Kasai as our favorite when it comes to ad libitum. Unfortunately, this time we have to admit that the quality has dropped a lot. Both the salmon and tuna don't taste completely fresh. The service is fast, however, and from the time you send the order to the time the food is on the table, it's actually quite ok. But in addition to the fish having dropped drastically in quality, I have to admit that it is completely out of proportion to charge 50 kr for a liter of tap water with a quarter slice of lime in it. And it's not 50 kr for the table to get water ad libitum (like so many other places) but 50 kr per order of water. This, combined with the fact that we can unfortunately see that the quality of the fish has gone to the bottom, means that we simply won't set foot at Kasai again. Super shame because we were really happy with Kasai the first few years they were present in Copenhagen. But price and quality simply don't go together anymore.

04/11/2025: Unfortunately, their food wasn't as good as we expected. The fish and chips weren't great; the fish wasn't tasty at all. The fried calamari was greasy and dry. The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was very nice.

02/11/2025: We had lunch in the countryside, an expensive lunch for someone who only ate hamburgers and fries. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is tasty. The only downside is the exorbitant price, but everything here is extremely expensive.

07/09/2025: The food was not good. Vinegar on the tartar! A long hair in the sauce for the mussels. Half of the mussels were white in the meat. Small portion of gnocchi. They forgot the bread before the food. They charge 25 Danish kroner for tap water. Disinterested service. Does not meet expectations.

Perhaps it was just the day, the time, or the staff member, but it slightly marred the experience. Emmery at Hellerup Station is a small, well-stocked café that offers everything you need. Due to its size, seating by the window can feel cramped, especially when there is a line. You can feel the attention to detail, both in the main course and the dessert. The staff is very kind, welcoming, and smiling, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return.

20/02/2026: An evening at [Café Name] felt like a little piece of Danish magic. The place exuded coziness: the wooden tables, candles and the gentle hum of other guests created the perfect setting. The starter – a creamy asparagus soup with roasted almonds – was pure indulgence. The main course (duck with red cabbage and caramelised apples) was beautifully balanced: tender meat, a sweet and sour contrast and a sauce that made you close your eyes in pure enjoyment. The dessert, a classic rhubarb trifle, rounded it all off with freshness and crunch. The service was warm and professional, and the atmosphere was so intimate that the hours just disappeared. Thank you for an unforgettable dinner – you have hit the spot!

31/10/2025: 55,- is fine for a hot cocoa, although not from a coffee machine, a bit pricey for powder mix.

19/10/2025: Very slow service. And you should stay far away from their hot "cocoa". Which has nothing to do with hot cocoa. It's made with water and powder with a little splash of whipped cream on top. And sickeningly sweet. It's unbearably hot inside. Surely nice on a winter day. But not necessary in the middle of October.

22/01/2026: 2 durums fall apart and pizza sandwich the same. Broken and soggy. But they don't care.
