27/07/2026: Cozy little place, with few seats. But wow the sandwiches they make. Super delicious, well-cooked. Very filling. Delicious homemade dressing. Got a super good shake. Also very good. Sweet staff. Next time I come to Horsens I will definitely stop by there.

31/07/2026: Absolutely the most delicious, flavorful food cooked to perfection! The whole restaurant is talking about it across the tables 😊 A few delicious dishes to choose from. Several tables tonight can recommend the hake, rib eye and octopus. The service is polite and attentive. The chef and owner for 9 years is from Bulgaria and the waiter from Greece and lovely to talk to. Definitely worth a visit.

24/08/2026: Breadhead was the last bakery stop on our tour of Aarhus. The bakery is located in the basement and looks very unassuming from the outside. They seem to have deliberately opted for a rather unspectacular and down-to-earth sourdough concept, relying solely on the quality of the product itself. We chose a cinnamon roll, an almond roll, a cardamom bun, and as a little bonus, a BMO (Breadhead Orange), which, according to rumors, is supposed to be particularly good here. All the baked goods had a more rustic appearance than the delicate creations of some other bakeries, but they certainly didn't have to hide behind them in terms of taste. The rolls seemed a bit like a crossover between the classic Danish and the Americanized version, but without the typical American frosting, instead using a much more subtle approach. The cinnamon roll dough was super fluffy, while the almond roll was more flaky and buttery. Both rolls were truly delicious. The cardamom bun wasn't too sweet, had a good balance of cardamom, was quite large, and also fluffy. The BMO was truly the surprise of the day. Perhaps it was simply because of all the sweet pastries we had already devoured, and the simplicity of a good sourdough roll with whipped butter and good, honest cheese really stood out. In any case, the ingredients were truly excellent on a fantastic dough. The iced matcha and iced latte were also delicious. A truly unassuming bakery that completely won us over at the end of our tour!

03/05/2026: Super cozy place where you can sit inside in warmth and coziness. We ordered kebab rolls which lived up to expectations, super big and beautiful as we like it, super sweet staff. Highly recommended. There was also nice music in the courtyard.

07/05/2026: Violent, unprofessional and downright embarrassing experience with Tangkroen. We had booked a christening with around 60 guests, received written booking confirmation and paid the reservation fee. After we pointed out some discrepancies in the agreement and asked very basic questions about additional costs (among other things, 20kr per person to get a tablecloth?), the situation developed extremely unpleasantly. We simply asked them to deal with the misunderstanding that we believed had occurred. Shortly afterwards, Tangkroen – without any legally valid justification – unilaterally chose to cancel our event just 10 days before it was to take place. We were suddenly left with around 60 invited guests and were forced to find a new location at extremely short notice. The owner reacted violently - shouted that he did not want to talk to us and simply hung up when we tried to clarify what was clearly a misunderstanding between the parties. The cancellation was not due to non-payment, threatening behavior or breach of contract on our part, but solely because, according to their own statement, they “did not want to continue the collaboration”. The most remarkable thing about the whole process is that we have maintained a critical but sober tone throughout and have only made moderate and completely legitimate criticisms of the circumstances surrounding the event. We have the full email and text message correspondence and are happy to provide it if anyone has any doubts about the process. Since the owner will most likely deny the process. Only after legal pressure did Tangkroen partially pull back, but by that time trust was of course completely destroyed. We now have a lawyer on the case, as the owner still does not want to address his handling of the process or engage in a real dialogue. We have never before felt the need to publicly criticize or write a bad review of a restaurant. However, the way this matter has been handled is, in our opinion, far beyond the limit of what one should accept as a customer. Mistakes and misunderstandings can happen anywhere. But the way this was handled was, in our opinion, shockingly unprofessional and a far cry from the service and seriousness one should expect at larger family events. We have never experienced anything like it.

24/08/2026: One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Ikast-Brande that I had the chance to visit. I came here not only for the food but also for the kind owner, who is also Vietnamese. The food here was simply out of this world. I highly recommend Sprød kylling i sur-sød sauce (ris som tilbehør), which means crispy chicken with rice and sweet & sour sauce. Mrs. Lan, the owner's wife, told me that the chicken slices are first dipped in fresh egg yolk, then coated and deep-fried until golden. The sweet & sour sauce is made from a generations-old family recipe. I always ordered this dish whenever I visited. If you love something a bit sweet and creamy, Kylling i karry (chicken curry) is worth trying. It usually comes with rice, but it's also great with noodles. Just ask Ms. Lan for your preferred choice. Stegte nudler med oksekød (stir-fried beef noodles) is another must-try. According to Mr. Quoc, the owner, this dish is a perfect combination of traditional Chinese stir-fried noodles and Danish flavors. The owners and I became good friends, and they often invited me to their restaurant for free Vietnamese food or to join their family parties. Those were some of the most amazing experiences I had in Denmark.

19/08/2026: Perhaps the best Asian cuisine I have yet visited. Today (August 19, 2026) we revisited Peking Grill, the main courses were as always exquisite, but the deep-fried bananas for dessert were hard to find, the ice cream was good though. The service was somewhat erratic, from the first plates being brought to the last ones being removed it took over 30 minutes, sitting and looking at empty plates is not fun 😉
