30/03/2026: If you are on the Hærvejsrut or close to Viborg you should visit Niels Bugges Kro. There are 3 different menus to choose from: 3, 5 or 7 courses. We chose the 5 course menu with snacks and bubbles. It was a wonderful mix of seasonal ingredients but fish, shellfish, pheasant, cheese and kefir. It was all well-balanced and flavorful. We had a fantastic evening and there was good service all the way. We did not choose the wine or juice menu but instead went to war in their beautiful wine list. The place is open Thursday-Saturday so plan your route accordingly.

26/09/2025: Heaven on earth for lovers of coffee and La Dolce Vita - The Best Soft Serve Ice Cream in the world! Incredible coffee - and a vast selection of hand-made ice creams and chocolates. Some kind of Sweet Temple - the staff are so friendly and helpful, always happy to help and customize orders - and excited to show off how great their products are. Highly recommended!

02/01/2026: There were 12 of us at the pizzeria. Even though there was only one employee there, service was very quick and the staff were very friendly. The food, both the pizza and the burgers, was incredibly delicious and, most importantly, the portions were very generous. Thank you so much!

The prices were reasonable, and you get really good quality for your money. Highly recommended for both a cozy dinner and a social evening with friends or family.
