25/11/2025: Best pizza I've ever tasted. I was walking with two other girls and it was as if the whole world was pointing us in the direction of a magical experience. Suddenly everything just made sense and after a short life-changing conversation with the expedient we were allowed to taste the best pizza in Aarhus. We will definitely visit again.

21/11/2025: Very quick to make 4 pizzas (10 minutes). Uses thyme as a spice, so it was a special taste experience.

11/05/2026: As usual a good experience. Really good fish. Be prepared for a lot of customers, but also a lot of friendly staff to serve.

10/05/2026: Fish and chips is highly recommended. The fish is plentiful, the Pomeranians are so-so. It's difficult to get a seat outside during peak hours. A beer and a lemon note currently cost 95 DKK everywhere on Holland Island. Is that the same as regular petrol prices?

21/04/2026: A very pleasant setting in a somewhat unremarkable and developing neighborhood. The meal was excellent, with some surprising discoveries. The presentation was original, and the different flavors were beautifully highlighted. The wine pairings were superb.

17/04/2026: A really good experience. The atmosphere, the food, the service and the view are all top notch. We had the tasting menu with 13 different dishes and it was really good.

03/05/2026: Unfortunately a very uneven experience. We were very disappointed with the level. There were many slouchers, and compared to other Michelin-recommended restaurants, the level and quality were not consistent. The price does not correlate at all with the level. The first course (oysters) was ok but not balanced in terms of taste nuances. There was one dish that was exceptional (zander with magnolia and kombucha). The main course was fallow deer, which was unfortunately very floury and had a lot of tendons. None of us finished it. Their trout was well-cooked and flavorful. The two desserts were good but again not at the level I expect from a restaurant of this caliber. All in all, not recommendable.

11/10/2025: A welcoming owner and host, always up for a good joke, and a fantastic atmosphere in the small "Gammel Havn Café" in Thorsminde – what more could you want? Whether you're looking for lunch or enjoying afternoon coffee with a delicious apple pie or a refreshing ice cream, the "Old Harbor Café" is always the right place. Of course, you can also enjoy a good Danish beer and other spirits, breathe in the fragrant harbor air in the sunshine outside, watch the amateur anglers on the fjord shore or the returning fishermen unloading their catch in the small harbor, or simply relax. You hardly notice how quickly the time passes, and when you leave, you're already looking forward to your next visit.

29/12/2025: A really lovely shop with a charming Christmas corner. Elf enthusiasts will find plenty of crafting supplies here. The rest of the shop has everything your heart desires: decorations, candles, toys, clothing, Danish merchandise, and, what we especially appreciated, it doesn't have that touristy feel that unfortunately plagues so many other shops around Ringkøbing Fjord. They offer typical Danish decorations. Right next to the shop is a great café that invites you to linger, and if you like, you can even make your own candles. Simply hygge!
