03/08/2026: Really good food, but the cleanliness of the dining area is lacking. It really affects the atmosphere.

03/04/2026: I have been to Familiecafeen several times, which has otherwise been good. This time, however, I was extremely disappointed, as the rice I got was not properly cooked. In addition, the beef I got was also very dry and tasteless. I mentioned it briefly to the owner, but he said that this is how they have been making the food for 12 years, so in other words, you can find another place. Disappointing.

31/05/2026: Absolutely not recommended! I ordered a pizza with chicken, bearnaise sauce, corn, jalapeños and fries. Instead I received a pizza with chicken, bacon, onion and fries. The order was wrong. When I called to report the error, I was met with incredibly poor and disrespectful customer service. The staff refused to correct the error and said they could not deliver a new pizza. It is unacceptable to deliver a wrong order and then refuse to take responsibility for the error. Even worse was the way I was spoken to. I found the staff to be rude, disrespectful and completely indifferent to their customers. Very poor service, lack of responsibility and a really bad experience. I will not order from there again and cannot recommend the place to others

17/07/2026: Order two dishes and after we have eaten the starter it takes about 40 minutes before we ask for the main course - one waiter doesn't know anything, the other says "it's called" Then another 12-15 minutes pass before we get the food The potatoes for one main course are not baked and are almost raw inside The veal tenderloin has a large tendon in the meat Along the way we are not asked if we want extra drinks or dessert/coffee or the like When the waiter asks about our experience after the meal we tell him, he takes it to himself The other waiter standing at the exit does not say goodbye or anything like that In relation to the price and experience we will not come again and would not recommend spending time and money on it

30/03/2026: If you were a kid in the 80s and 90s and miss your old grill bar, you should go here. Don't be put off by the older gentlemen having a smoke outside and a cold beer inside - they are both sweet, friendly and part of the charm. You get a burger exactly as you remember it in 91, there are no frills and the staff are the nicest people around.

12/04/2026: We bought two pieces of batard on Sunday 12/4 at 9:00 in the morning. We have no doubt that they were a day old - no crispiness at all

28/11/2025: The place has changed name and owner. Now it is called Guldværket and has been taken over by Philkjær who also has the fish restaurant opposite. At first glance, the concept seemed to follow previous gourmet grill ideas. The food seemed to have perhaps gotten a boost if you like. We started with 3 oysters which in the kitchen multiplied to 4 for the reasonable sum of 60 kr. You can get Champagne and a bottle of Andre Clouet grand reserve for 620 kr which is also a quite reasonable price. Entrecote perfectly tender and fried. There could have been a little salad, but otherwise again a very reasonable price of 225 kr for one of the city's best beef steaks. It should be emphasized that the menu offers other delicious things at somewhat lower prices for both food and drink. There were no other guests on this rainy Thursday afternoon, but I'm sure there will be more life at other times. Will definitely come again.

04/04/2026: Waited OVER an hour for food Suggestion. Write on the menu that it takes a long time to prepare the food so people don't sit and wait, starve and lose patience.

20/09/2025: Got a kebab roll, boring bread, kebab from frozen and boring dressing. Salad/red cabbage and other things in the roll seemed fresh and crispy.

23/08/2026: Stop it.... that was a slow job. Dec2 employees who are supposed to deliver the food are loitering around and nothing is happening. Stood looking at my food for 5-8 minutes... it was also cold. Find a and McD

25/06/2026: Top class food and view. The staff provides a very high level of service and highly recommend the place to anyone who wants a cozy experience at Marselisborg Harbour with a view of the bay.

19/05/2026: We only wanted to have a beer here. However, we received a foul-tasting swill and not at all the beer we ordered.

16/08/2026: Had dinner at Lava last week. We found the place almost at the end of the stream, after having opted out of all the "hip" places up from Magazin. It's cozy with a good cafe atmosphere, good choices on the menu also on wine and other drinks. Above all, you can eat at a reasonable price and be full.

11/08/2026: The food didn't taste like anything. Order from here if you want to eat a salad named 'Burger' on the menu.

14/06/2026: Not a very positive experience. Firstly, the food was not very hot, even though we ate in the restaurant. Secondly, they had dropped the salt shaker in the food and thirdly, they charged 110.- too much for the menu (I quickly corrected that though). All in all, a disappointing experience, it can only be made better..!!

20/08/2026: Great stop off for lunch during long walk - had pizza followed by particularly good soft whip ice-cream. Friendly and hardworking staff. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seats, plus toilets.

13/08/2026: Really long queue. So long that you have time to stand and write a review on it. They should hire more people!
