01/06/2026: Cozy surroundings, lacked a little shelter from the wind in the outdoor area, half-full ashtrays on the tables smelled especially when you don't smoke, the service was ok but maybe a little tame, more friendliness or welcoming mood could be nice. The food was definitely hot, the Wienerschnitzel wasn't very big, and there wasn't much butter sauce for 2, nice flavorful peas, but lettuce and tomato might not have been to our taste, but the food definitely tasted as it should.

27/12/2025: Excellent service and excellent food. Everything was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. We especially enjoyed the house burger and the chicken burger. Because of our dog, we sat outside. In December, we were sheltered on the terrace and enjoyed fantastic sunshine with a view of the small harbor. Highly recommended :-)

10/12/2025: I got a house burger with an extra steak. Even though the steaks were well-done, they were good and juicy. The dressing, which was homemade, tasted great on the burger. Good thick and crispy cucumber slices and fresh salad. The fries could have been fried a little more, at least for my taste, but they were big and beautiful, and the homemade dill dressing that comes with them tasted absolutely fantastic. A good portion. I definitely didn't leave hungry. It's a fish shop and bistro in one, with a view of the harbor. Nice clean surroundings. Nothing flashy, but it works and is proper, and the service was really good. All in all, a super nice experience.

13/05/2026: Just arrived from the uk and fancied some lunch. And what a great choice. Chicken pad Thai, beef spring rolls and a Coke absolutely delicious and very good value considering central location. Small takeaway shop but with a bench that sits 4.

22/12/2025: On June 7, 2025, we held our wedding at Egholm Vestergaard. Already during the first conversation and tour of Vestergaard, we were sold on the place, there is an incredible calm over the fantastic buildings and you feel very welcome. It was a perfect experience to hold our wedding at Egholm Vestergaard, everything went perfectly and everyone had a fantastic party with top-class food and drinks. Jens and Daniel are incredibly good hosts and have complete control and a huge knowledge of everything from food and drinks to the premises. We can definitely recommend holding a party at Egholm Vestergaard.

28/04/2026: Simply the worst "steaks" I've ever tasted. The burger patty is thinner than paper, and the steak sandwich patty was a mysterious grainy consistency and wasn't beef... don't know what it was, but just threw it out.

14/03/2026: Very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, the quality of the sushi was very poor, and the pieces fell apart easily, as if they were not made correctly. It doesn't seem like they have a handle on how sushi should be prepared. At the same time, the price is way too high, around 500 kr. for this quality. It's really a shame. Will never come back. They should close the shop down.🤢I was very upset to eat such sushi.

14/03/2026: We ate sushi last night. Service was good, sushi was poor, very boring, falling apart. We won't be back.

28/11/2025: Such a delicious brunch! Super friendly and accommodating staff. We also had a 1 year old who could also eat with us and it was nice to have a clean high chair. We will definitely be back 🤩

16/09/2025: Delicious shooting star with pan-fried fresh plaice, steamed as well and lots of shrimp. We asked for rye bread with it and got it deliciously warm toasted. Super sweet and friendly service. For dessert we bought ice cream from the same place's ice cream parlor - yummy. So from us, a big THANK YOU for a cozy and good experience. We'll be back!

16/09/2025: We ordered herring hoping for a truly Danish culinary experience. We were served very sweet, industrially-tasting herring with a caper, a few slices of red onion, and three thin slices of bread, all for 159 DKK each!! And we had to pay 35 DKK for tap water! TAP WATER!!! Don't go there under any circumstances; it's a tourist trap!

25/03/2026: They are always so nice and friendly. The store is well-organized most of the time, clean and tidy as can be in relation to sales. You also encounter a good tone even if you don't really buy anything every now and then. It's really nice 😉

08/03/2026: Too bad you have to make sure you get what you order and pay for.. Just got home after a trip over to buy some food.. When I get home I unfortunately see that almost half of it is missing... Waste of money unfortunately despite the fact that I was the last customer..

13/09/2025: There is always a really good atmosphere here and it is well filled with guests. It is no problem to start a good party. The DJ captures the atmosphere and gives it maximum gas. Reasonable prices and a good selection of various drinks.

20/07/2025: Dårlig betjening, OK øl og ingen mad.. Restauranten skrev at der ikke var betjening ved bordet, hvorfor bestilling skulle ske i baren. De henviser til et menukort via deres QR koder. Her står intet om at køkkenet lukker på et tidspunkt. Kl. er 16:03. Og køkkenet er øjensynligt lukket kl. 16. Efter at være blevet ignoreret ved baren i flere minutter mens gæster bag os fik servering, kunne vi dog få serveret 2 øl. Men ingen mad.. De var ok. Men helt ærligt, så jeg har brygget bedre øl selv.

20/05/2026: Decided to order some fried chicken while I had my American boyfriend over for a visit and he was shocked by how good and authentically American it was. Definitely recommend!
