15/06/2026: It was an excellent buffet with lots of different dishes to choose from. The quality of the food is excellent, as I expect from a buffet restaurant. However, my personal experience of the meat tasted very similar, whether it is due to the selection of the day or my taste buds I will not judge. But all in all it was a good experience. We ate the barbecue buffet, and drank soda - before the food we each got a cocktail, which was very tasty and surprisingly large for the price - we got the two cocktails for 100kr.

08/06/2026: Nice family restaurant. Meat and side dishes were fine, the salad bar was also nice, but it would be nice if there were small bowls you could put it in so it doesn't have to be with a hot plate. But otherwise okay.

21/05/2026: Simply such a lovely experience. There were four of us out to eat and we chose the Habesha special menu, vegetarian, which is a share between two people. It tasted really good, huge recommendation from here. At first glance it doesn't seem like much, but the restaurant owner is very welcoming and friendly, and the food is delicious! :-)

09/05/2026: I loved the food here and the owner was so sweet! You can tell he is really interested in the dishes. It was my first time having Ethiopian food and he made the experience really nice! It was very healthy and good.

For all types of nature lovers, it will be an obvious area to explore, along the beautiful sand dunes of the coast or in the forests if you want to hike on the paths that run around the tip of Røsnæs Or a longer walk on the steep hills of the ice age. So remember good hiking shoes🥾 the opportunity to see a snake or viper 🐍so keep your eyes open! They can lie and sunbathe on the path. (You will regret wearing rubber shoes😅) Several rare species and plants can be experienced on the hike around, if you know what to look for. For example, the Danish bird spider species, perhaps rare summer birds Or the Danish orchid flower. 🕷️🧐. There is access to nice toilets at the nature school itself, and a less cozy restaurant. There are peaceful animals:🐐 🐑🐮🐴 🐇 🐓you can pet and pat. If you are lucky, you can observe a 🦭seal or two along the coast. Really good coastlines with excellent fishing spots if you pull in waders. There are plenty of options for overnight stays in shelters or just a cozy tent trip in the designated areas. Opportunity to see a German bunker from the war. Or come into the lighthouse and take a look. A whole war story that goes back far in history. So pack your backpack and some provisions as it is definitely worth more experiences☘️or a break from everyday activities. Get to enjoy a good view📸 Good parking options in several places on the way out. Enjoy 🥾🎒

26/07/2025: We spent a night in Rødby after taking the ferry and went here to grab a pizza because we were hungry. It turned out to be a really delicious pizza for a very good price. The man at the counter was also very friendly.

06/10/2025: A super nice place in the forest by the lake with a cozy atmosphere. The food was absolutely fantastic and most of it was homemade. Draft beer from Møn and delicious special schnapps that went perfectly with the herring. 😍

10/10/2025: Good burgers. But honestly how can you forget cheese in a bacon cheese burger?? And besides, I asked in detail to get burgers without raw onions and they had forgotten that too. 🤬 I can't stand the taste of raw onions and sis' it's so annoying that I have to spend the first 10 min. to first remove all the tiny onion pieces when you're hungry. Then I can put it back together and enjoy a now ice-cold burger. Really annoying!!! 😡

08/03/2026: We held our son's christening at Café Langsiden, where we rented a room with food, drinks and staff – and it was a REALLY good experience! Everything was well planned, the staff was friendly and helpful, and they made sure that both we and our guests had a wonderful day. The food was delicious, there was plenty of both food and drinks, and the room was perfect for our event. It was also a great help that they took care of the cleanup afterwards, so we could just enjoy the day. We can highly recommend Café Solsiden to others who are having a party or event.

27/02/2026: Highly recommended! We had a double christening reception at Cafe Langsiden, everything just worked. Christina and her team made delicious sandwiches that guests compliment when they see them afterwards and drinks ad libitum. They also took care of the decoration and cleanup, so we just had to show up and enjoy the day with our guests ❤️

15/04/2026: Very reasonable barbecue. I love the classic barbecue bar, and it's good to have something you're good at. Their barbecue chicken is much better than average. I don't order it myself, my better half does. All in all, authentic and as expected.
