25/07/2025: I have rarely been so disappointed by a meal – and certainly not at these prices. Polar Pizza & Pasta should seriously consider changing its name to Polar Freezer Leftovers & Soggy Disappointment. The pizza tasted like something that had been heated in a microwave an hour ago and then placed under a heat lamp, so the bottom became limp, chewy and thin as cardboard. The cheese wasn't melted – it just lay on top, as if it had given up. The filling? Sparse, dry and without any kind of taste. The pasta was downright inedible. Once sticky, soggy pasta pieces that looked like they had been left open for several days, and a meat sauce that resembled pure tomato sauce, but tasted of nothing. The whole thing had that characteristic "school canteen Friday afternoon" vibe – but at gourmet prices. The prices? Completely out of proportion. We paid over 200 kr. for a boring plate of pasta and a flat soda for the kids, while Mom and Dad had to get away with almost double that. If you want to blow your food budget and regret all your life choices at the same time, this is the place. The staff seemed disinterested. No smiles, no interest in the experience – just move on. This felt like an assembly line machine with no heart or quality. It's boring to see that the same opinions about this place can be traced back several years. The environment? uninspiring. Like eating in a school after-school program with a LEGO theme, but without the magic.

09/05/2025: Fik en lækker gang frokost tapas og skønneste vin til. Det er sådan en hyggelig restaurant og dejlig køligt i varmen. Super lækker tapas, glæder mig allerede til næste gang jeg skal besøge dem.

04/05/2025: Forventede os mere af en menu til mere end 700 kr. Måske derfor man undlader at reklamere for menuen på hjemmesiden. Ingen skaldyr og billigt kød, som ikke smagte helt friskt.

29/10/2024: This place is already closed! We booked the place a month in advance. The day when we were supposed to check in, we received the confirmation message via Booking.com about how ready they are to receive us (i guess this was automated) but 20 mins before we arrived after a looooong drive, the hotel message us again that they are bankrupt and no longer in operation for weeks! Google, take this advertisement now!

20/10/2024: Booked a room one month in advance for end of September, got a confirmation of bankruptcy the day before, only after I reached out to ask for specific amenities in the room.

17/12/2024: Super delicious food, you won't leave hungry. Sweet and smiling service, was well received and packed to the door on the way out. Would happily come again if they weren't closed 😢

13/05/2026: The art garden is an interesting place, filled with very fine and diverse art and crafts.

11/05/2026: This is a very nice little baguette and kebab place. We ordered food from there one day when our lunch order was out of stock, and even though we have some relatively picky employees, the types who always have to have without this and without that and extra this and extra that, No.1 managed to do it all 100% right! I actually think that's great, considering it was a phone order!

30/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely fantastic experience – our warmest recommendation! We celebrated our daughter's 1st birthday at Stubbæk Forsamlingshus & Selskabsrestaurant, and we simply couldn't have wished for a better day. From the first appointment to the party itself, we were greeted with kindness, professionalism and fantastic service. Everything we had agreed upon was adhered to to the letter, and we could really feel that a great effort was made to ensure that our party was absolutely perfect. The food was nothing short of fantastic – incredibly delicious, beautifully served and with lots of flavour. Both we and our guests were very impressed, and we only received positive comments all day. The premises were cosy and perfect for a family party, and the whole atmosphere was warm and inviting. The most important thing for us was that we could relax and enjoy our daughter's big day with family and friends, without having to worry about anything. And we could – because everything just worked perfectly. A 1st birthday is a very special event that you only experience once, and Stubbæk Forsamlingshus & Selskabsrestaurant helped make the day even more special, beautiful and unforgettable for us. ❤️ Thank you so much for the fantastic food, the good service, the cozy atmosphere and for taking such good care of us and our guests.
