23/01/2026: Got two durum delivered 30 minutes late. Both were completely inedible. Poor quality meat, they were roasted and heated so much that all the vegetables were completely cooked through. The bread was soggy that the rolls fell apart

08/01/2026: Quiet and peaceful, good style and totally relaxing to just sit and eat.

27/09/2025: Delicious pizzas that look fresh and taste great, both in terms of base and topping! The pizzas also don't seem as oily and salty as other places, which is nice!

08/09/2025: Today we shared pizza no. 11 and 19. They were so good. Perfectly baked and with fresh ingredients. This will definitely be our new regular pizza place

09/11/2025: 2 day course stay. Beautiful conference room, dinner served in cozy surroundings. The "rest" of the hotel has the feel of a conference center.

08/11/2025: There was something sticky on the wall in the bathroom. I think the cleaning staff is not instructed to clean the wall and therefore they do not take ownership. Classic problem with cleaning... Anyway, the rest of the room I had was OK, plenty of space. My overnight stay included breakfast and the street breakfast is expensive. Food in the prices was a little sharp (schnapps or similar) I have almost never seen that before, at least not in Denmark and not at hotels in this price segment. If you value a good breakfast, then I would choose this hotel over anything else within 50km. It was a really good experience. The breakfast moves the overall experience up to 5 stars. The fact that there is a Tesla supercharger makes charging a breeze and in the nearby town of Middelfart, I ate quite an excellent Thai dish for dinner. Middelfart is also cozy and has a nice harbor with some special architecture on the harbor front. All in all, a good experience.

31/05/2025: I drove here specifically instead of going to another bakery. I wouldn't make the detour again—it wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either.

Each dish was carefully presented and full of character, showcasing both creativity and respect for classic cooking. The restaurant also offers its own label wines, which added a lovely personal touch to the experience. Of the two sampled, the white wine was particularly enjoyable and stood out more than the red, pairing beautifully with several of the courses. The staff were exceptionally knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu, which elevated the entire evening. Combined with great company, elegant décor, and charming surroundings, the atmosphere felt warm, relaxed, and memorable. Although the location is slightly awkward to reach, arriving at the property makes the journey worthwhile. The building itself is wonderfully quaint and full of historic character, adding to the charm of the experience. 01/05/2026: Found this little gem, just around the corner from H.C. Andersen House. They had classic "shooting star" (stjerneskud) on the menu, and that I had to test. The meal contained fried bread, cold smoked Salmon, fried Plaice, steamed Haddock, shrimps, the right amount of sauce, Asparagus, and some Dill and other greens. And it was delicious! I highly recommend it, and the hostess was very helpfull with answering questions, and recommending drinks.

27/09/2025: We were there with our 9-month-old daughter on the last day of the season. We received a very warm welcome. The host immediately offered us a suitable seat and provided a high chair and a children's drinking cup. The food (a burger with fries and breaded fish with fries) was delicious and beautifully presented. The side dishes, main course, and vegetables were very fresh, and we enjoyed it immensely. We would gladly come back.

10/11/2025: Nice place, but very limited selection. Had some Mexican but it was a pretty bad experience - both in terms of taste and service. My friends got good sushi in return. Cozy environment.
