27/08/2026: Great café with excellent food! We ate there and it was relatively quiet, which might be due to the slightly higher prices – but these are perfectly normal for Denmark. Café Mauritz impressed us completely: Taste & Presentation: The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service: The service was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and quick. If you're in Sønderborg and looking for good food in a relaxed atmosphere, you definitely can't go wrong here. We'll gladly come back!

09/07/2026: The world's smallest portion of fries. You get a handful of fries for 45 kroner while they charge 15 kroner for dip. It's completely psychopathic. Stay far away

08/07/2026: Unfortunately the blandest vegan burger I've had. Patty itself was good, but then just pickles, onion and ketchup. Not difficult to get or make vegan mayo, or add some lettuce, tomato or such. Extra cost to get vegan buns, which weren't great. Again easy to make or buy vegan ones (that don't need to be gluten free at the same time). Otherwise a cool place with a lot of special own beers!

12/09/2026: Coming to Shangrila you meet nice and friendly staff, a nice restaurant where the toilet is clean and tidy, a good place to eat.

02/09/2026: I recently visited this Vietnamese restaurant and was absolutely thrilled. The pho was incredibly delicious, the broth aromatic and rich in flavor, the noodles perfectly al dente, and the meat tender. The bánh mì also won me over: crispy baguette, fresh herbs, and a perfect balance of savory and sour. The portions were generous, the service friendly, and the atmosphere cozy. A definite recommendation for anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese food in Leipzig. I'll definitely be back!

06/08/2026: I think it's the best Caesar salad I've ever had...and I've had quite a few. The baked potatoes were sooooooooo good. Too bad it's so far for me to Esbjerg, otherwise I would have come often. Small portions, but I was very full from the two dishes.

02/08/2026: Went to a confirmation party here and it was fantastic. Really good food, helpful service and a nice atmosphere. Will definitely come again. Edit: went for brunch, really delicious. The price is on the high end, but extremely fair in relation to the quality and ingredients

08/08/2026: A cozy café that also serves hearty dishes and delicious soft ice cream, and then there's the fantastic view over the water. Perfect for a short stop!

06/06/2026: Awful service, mess with ordering and overpayment, the most boring Bahn Mi we have had in a long time. Very little meat and no dressing or taste in general. We left the food without eating it. The place is not recommended.

26/08/2026: Arrogant staff, especially the arabic waiter or whatever nationality he is. Very rude and unprofessional. Blaming the customer for their fault, for not preparing the full order to be taken. It's your responsibility my friend. Humble yourself!

09/03/2026: Today we had a lunch reservation at your restaurant to celebrate our wedding together with my husband and my parents. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. When we entered, a waitress in her fifties with short hair immediately asked us, in a rather abrupt tone, whether we were planning to close the door behind us or if she had to do it herself. We had not noticed that the door had not closed automatically, so this came as a surprise to us. She did not show us where we could hang our coats, so we brought them with us to the table. Shortly afterwards, she approached us again and told us, in a very rude manner, that we were putting her health at risk and that she might slip on my coat and “break all of her bones.” We were shocked by the tone and the way we were spoken to. As a result, we decided to leave immediately and celebrate elsewhere. What was meant to be a special celebration for our wedding turned into a very upsetting experience. I would strongly encourage you to look into how your staff interacts with customers, as this was by far the worst service experience we have ever had.
