14/04/2026: Good service and fantastic food have been there a few times now and it definitely won't be the last time

29/03/2026: Delicious delicious food. Super good kitchen team, fast service both for refilling drinks and food. Smart with tablet ordering. They have control of the orders, that's clear. However, they could inform that you can book a table no later than 19:30 on a Friday if you want the full 2.5 hours that you can get in AYCE. We came at 20:00 and were not informed that the kitchen closed at 21:30, it was only when the waiter came and said it was 21:30. So the website needs to be upgraded sometime.

10/08/2025: Completely from scratch. Probably the best in town. Helpful, clean and fast service. Recommend to anyone driving by in Vejen. Absolutely fantastic and made from scratch. All the vegetables and meat were great.

07/04/2026: We wanted to visit the swimming pool for the day and had checked the opening hours in the app beforehand, as described. Unfortunately, we were not allowed in and had to leave.

06/04/2026: A fine stay for a long weekend. Even though all the heaters were off, we found it very warm inside the holiday home. The extractor fan in our cottage was not working. Additionally, curtains are missing from the upper windows in both bedrooms, allowing quite a lot of light to come in. The park has a nice swimming pool. One slide was also broken. Unfortunately, many lockers in the changing rooms were broken. Please note that you have to pay separately for electricity. It is an hour's drive from this accommodation to Legoland.

08/05/2026: The location is super convenient, close to the train station, and about a 10-minute walk to Andersen-related attractions. The room is clean and comfortable, and there's a Lidl supermarket and many restaurants nearby. The staff were all incredibly warm and polite ❤️ There's a free coffee machine in the lobby, and afternoon tea is also available 🥹

30/04/2026: First the employees are so nice and very helpful. But the hotel is so old, rooms so tight, even blackout did not cover the entire window and from sides of window the outside light directly in my eyes when I wanted to sleep, and early daylight. Walls so thin everyone walk in hallways we could hear at night and caused us wake up several times. Definitely not kids friendly. We went with our 9months old baby and definitely not good idea. Not any ramp for stroller/pram, to get to hotel we had to lift it, and hallways and elevator are so narrow and small. However hotel not recommended, but as I mentioned employees were so sweet. And location was really good.

07/09/2025: Super delicious burgers and fries Edit 2025: This review applies to the previous owner. There are various dishes and only one burger to choose from. We opted for the burger. The difference couldn't be greater. There's still a lot of room for improvement – ​​both in terms of taste and appearance. Perhaps the new team is still finding its feet!?

03/09/2025: Expensive campsite outside the high season. We stayed 1 night. 2 adults in a small hiking tent. No electricity. At arrivel he said we pay 20 euro,s ( i should have paid upfront😅) The day we left is was 35 euro,s! I feel scamed So never again Large places, outdated sanitair facilitys.

13/10/2025: Highly recommended! The rooms (or rather, cells) are clean, as are the bathrooms and toilets. This is exactly the right place for anyone who has ever wanted to spend the night in a prison. The breakfast is great, everything fresh, and the coffee is delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful.

05/04/2026: 75 kr for a jug of tap water, where the ice had melted in it after two minutes, says a lot about the quality and spirit of a place. I have only experienced something like this in the most tacky tourist places in Rome. The price of water could in no way be justified, since the price of the food was also high. And the quality did not match the price in any way. I got a burger. Made with a toasted and dry kind of sandwich bun. So it takes away the pleasure of a burger that overall should seem juicy and easy to eat. The burger also lacked taste and quality considering that we paid 179 kr plus 15 kr extra for bacon. Bacon, which I would have liked to have on the side and not in the burger to keep it crispy. Any place can usually do that. They couldn't do that here. The slightly older female waiter looked almost frightened at having to tell the chef such a small thing, and she doubted whether it could be done. And I ended up with the bacon in the burger. Simply too poor service for that price. My wife's sandwich for 179 kr also lacked quality, and in many places you can get sandwiches for 100-120 kr including fries, which have much more taste and quality. My daughter's nuggets and fries simply did not taste good. You could taste that the fryer was old and gave the food an off-flavor. It simply needs to be changed regularly if it is used for both schnitzels, fish fillets, etc. Which really shouldn't be the case in a place where the prices should encourage these foods to be pan-fried in butter and not thrown into the wishing well. I hate spending money on food where I in no way feel I am getting value for what I paid. And that's how I felt here. That's why we don't go above two stars.

26/08/2025: This is a very cute and centrally located cafe. Unfortunately, they serve very bad coffee. So bad that we had to throw it away. The ice cream is probably much better, but we didn’t try any on the occasion of our visit.

15/08/2025: The food was excellent, as was the price. The atmosphere was like a chip shop—you're sitting in a kind of container between two roads, not exactly a great atmosphere.

12/12/2025: I was at McDonald’s in Haderslev recently and sat on the upper floor, completely quiet and peaceful, while eating my burger and watching a series with my AirPods in. I didn’t bother anyone, didn’t make any noise, and I was just looking after myself. Yet an employee came up and asked me to leave the upper floor because I “was under 18, and young people make noise”. Those were their words. I asked why, because I was honestly surprised, and got the same answer: that young people under 18 generally make noise, and that’s why we’re not allowed to sit on the upper floor. It felt extremely generalizing and disrespectful. I was treated like a problem solely because of my age – not because of my behavior. And unfortunately, this is something that 16-year-olds often experience: adults assume that you’re making noise, causing trouble or behaving badly, even when you do everything to the contrary. You’re not met as an individual, but as a “teen group”, and it honestly feels quite degrading. I was a quiet, paying customer who behaved properly. Yet I was still sent away from an area I did nothing wrong in, based solely on a prejudice about my age. McDonald’s should take this seriously. All customers, regardless of age, should be met with the same respect and judged based on their actual behavior, not the stereotype of an entire age group. Whoever made this rule, reconsider it.

21/11/2025: You order 3 tasty cheese, plus something else in the drive-in, come home, and have 3 tasty chicken cheese. This is not the first time that you can't give us what was ordered.

19/04/2026: Sad food served in even less sad premises. Only emphasized by the pizza sauce that comes from cans that were on pallets by the toilets... At least the toilets were clean, but no hand soap or anything to dry your fingers on. The place lives up to its sad facade.

01/01/2026: Best Pizza in town, nice service, and if you order from home, they are ready when you arrive. You can also sit inside their restaurant and eat.
