17/08/2026: Fantastic Italian restaurant in Næstved 🇮🇹. Risotto and top quality sirloin steak - the wine list is also good👍. The staff is nice and very helpful🙂. I'm already looking forward to the next time🥂 You should try that too😊

02/05/2026: Cafe Malmø in Copenhagen is a proper old-school Danish morning pub that refuses to follow any modern trends – and that’s exactly why it works. This is a no-frills establishment where the atmosphere is thick with history and a hint of yesterday’s smoke. From the early hours you’ll often find a colorful mix of locals and slightly shady characters nursing their morning beers, giving the place an authentic, almost cinematic edge. The interior is classic and well-worn in the best possible way. There’s a beautiful old billiard table (the proper smaller Danish kind, not American pool) that has seen better days but still delivers plenty of entertainment. No pretentious decor, no craft beer nonsense – just solid, reasonably priced pints and a straightforward selection that matches the unassuming vibe perfectly. Prices are fair and far from the snobby levels you see in many other places these days. Cafe Malmø isn’t trying to be Instagram-friendly or cozy for everyone. It’s a raw, iconic slice of real Danish pub culture. Whether it feels wonderfully hyggelig or slightly sketchy depends entirely on who you are and what you’re looking for. If you appreciate unpolished authenticity and places with real character, this little gem is hard to beat.

29/04/2026: Fantastic basement pub, brown pub fittings with eclectic decor and cosy surroundings. Usual basic drinks selection, typical prices for the district. Lived in, charming and interesting. I wish it long life.

08/08/2025: Overall a nice pizza. I had the pugliese with fried capers (fancy), they were a bit too much though. Pizza dough was nice. Staff was a bit inexperienced but friendly and aware. Atmosphere was chilled, great location and it was very quiet.

06/08/2025: A slice of happiness… you can tell the chef loves what he does and takes pride in his work. Pizza was awesome and pasta was delicious. Serving staff on the bar and our table extremely helpful and friendly. Very well priced for the city.

15/07/2025: Went back a year later and this is still true! Good price and service. They have gluten free pizzas that taste like normal pizzas! The time from ordering to being served was less then 15 minutes for a gluten free pizza even though there where many people ordering at the same time! Pizza good, yum yum!

24/07/2026: If you could give 6 stars for service, they would have; I have now ordered takeaway a few times from here, and the young man who delivers the food is every time friendly, welcoming and thoughtful, every time - Give him a raise 👍 The food is excellent and the prices reasonable.

24/08/2026: One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Ikast-Brande that I had the chance to visit. I came here not only for the food but also for the kind owner, who is also Vietnamese. The food here was simply out of this world. I highly recommend Sprød kylling i sur-sød sauce (ris som tilbehør), which means crispy chicken with rice and sweet & sour sauce. Mrs. Lan, the owner's wife, told me that the chicken slices are first dipped in fresh egg yolk, then coated and deep-fried until golden. The sweet & sour sauce is made from a generations-old family recipe. I always ordered this dish whenever I visited. If you love something a bit sweet and creamy, Kylling i karry (chicken curry) is worth trying. It usually comes with rice, but it's also great with noodles. Just ask Ms. Lan for your preferred choice. Stegte nudler med oksekød (stir-fried beef noodles) is another must-try. According to Mr. Quoc, the owner, this dish is a perfect combination of traditional Chinese stir-fried noodles and Danish flavors. The owners and I became good friends, and they often invited me to their restaurant for free Vietnamese food or to join their family parties. Those were some of the most amazing experiences I had in Denmark.

19/08/2026: Perhaps the best Asian cuisine I have yet visited. Today (August 19, 2026) we revisited Peking Grill, the main courses were as always exquisite, but the deep-fried bananas for dessert were hard to find, the ice cream was good though. The service was somewhat erratic, from the first plates being brought to the last ones being removed it took over 30 minutes, sitting and looking at empty plates is not fun 😉

15/07/2026: Honestly one of the best pitas I've ever had. Really good meat (I had lamb) and really nice fresh bread (which is the most important part of a pita in my opinion). Super nice service as well. The outside of this little place looks very unassuming and I walked past it a lot. Safe to say I'm glad that tried it. Definitely worth a try. I'll be coming back again at least.

20/08/2026: After a walk around the island, both up at the viewpoint and on the beach and seeing the swallows, it is nice to finish with a cup of coffee and the island's delicious almond cake in Bar's coffee house.

07/08/2026: It went completely wrong during our visit. My daughter got goosebumps and we didn't get any wet wipes or buckets for our feet. We asked twice for wet wipes but never got them! My steak had to go back out it was completely battered and tough so had to eat it alone. And no one came and followed up. Had to get up myself to say it and ask for help.

18/07/2026: Just stopped by and smelled the deliciousness, so our noses pulled us in the direction of Byens Bedste Kebab. Truly the best falafel and fries in town, wonderfully crispy, the falafel bowl was good with the dressing, the chili mayo was also really delicious! Thank you so much for the food. 🫶🏼 Will definitely come again! I've saved the place on maps now. 🙏🏼

15/08/2026: While Axelhus is no longer the iconic dive bar it once was this sister bar at least offers some better beer alternatives. To Øl on tap, and in the fridge, alongside Brew York. Fed up with fizzy industrial lager? Well then this is the place for you.

04/08/2026: Best service staff, nice girl from Gothenburg. The food was as good as ever. Smørrebrød with egg and shrimp was tasty and good. Breaded fish with fries was highly recommended!
