03/01/2026: Ingolfs is perhaps Amager's best coffee place. Always friendly staff, good atmosphere and reasonable prices. Not an impersonal chain, but a real Amager atmosphere. We come here often and we are grateful that the place exists.

15/11/2025: 15th November 2025 Ordered 4x 99kr lunch deal + 4x 49kr small soda. Burger / sandwich was dry, flavourless, and basically cold. 1/5 The fries were fine, but you don't get points for refrying frozen fries. Service was okay. We had to seat ourselves even though you get the idea that they seat you. We had to get up and go get a waiter to get to pay. Ambience was odd. Why play Danish pop at an American diner? Not going here again.

28/08/2025: Excellent service all around. We took a day trip to Denmark and ate there. The owner was friendly and really made an effort to help us navigate the Danish menu. We ordered in English. The food was fresh and delicious—and beautifully presented. We would recommend this restaurant immediately. Best regards from Munich

13/05/2026: Very poor parking conditions. Poor service from the kitchen. Long wait for service, especially between starter and main course, waiting time up to 1 hour. This despite the fact that the meal was ordered when booking the stay. Starters OK. Main courses. First day, potatoes with leathery skin and no taste. Second day, meat that could neither be cut nor chewed. When asked if the food was satisfactory, we reported the poor condition of the meat. Answer, we should have said so. But who wants to wait almost 1 hour more to try our hand at the next piece of meat. Third day, the main course was good. Lunches. Open sandwiches can be purchased except on Sundays, when we were offered the sad remains of a buffet that was 3 hours old. We had to take a plate and the price would be DKK 145 per piece. We later discovered that we paid DKK 590 in total for the sad remains of lunch. The food prices are generally very expensive compared to the quality. The furnishings are very worn both inside and out. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They work hard. This was the third or fourth time we visited Hotel Ærø. Now it's over.

Too bad that bad concept eateries will soon fill most of Køge. Hope Cafe More Living returns another time. Thank you for your time at Køge Torv.

28/07/2025: Snarly arrogant waiters. Grill was a disappointment - meat not freshly grilled and not properly cooked. Way too expensive. Asked for bottled water alongside the beer ordered but got “filtered” water at an overpriced price. It will probably be a few years before we return.

21/08/2025: I have previously visited Fænøsund for evening events and have always had good experiences – both with the food and the professional service. Therefore, I had a clear expectation that the lunch would live up to the same level. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We had booked a table, and when we arrived, we asked ourselves if we could sit outside because the weather was nice. Fortunately, we could, and we found a seat. Shortly after, a young employee came with the menus, but after that not much happened. After waiting for over 25 minutes, I went up to the restaurant myself to order, otherwise it would have taken even longer. The drinks came after about 10 minutes, which was acceptable, but the process was far too slow when there are just two people with a simple order. The food – open sandwiches – tasted fine, and the quality is absolutely fine. But the portions were WAY too small for the price. Or rather: the bread was big enough, and there were plenty of garnishes, but almost no real filling. The veal tartare was minimal and almost lost under the garnish, and the same was true for the herring and salmon. At 110 kr. a piece, you expect a decent piece of smørrebrød with substance – here it felt like you were paying for a lot of garnish on a large piece of bread. After the meal, it took an unreasonably long time before we could order coffee. Finally, we gave up and went up to pay ourselves. Here the young employee in the kitchen stood and ate. She just handed over the card machine without a word, without asking about the experience or giving the impression of professional service. All in all, we ended up spending almost two hours getting two pieces of smørrebrød and a cup of coffee – and that in a restaurant that is otherwise known for a higher standard. Fænøsund has a fantastic location, and I still want to come back for an evening event where both the food and service have been really good. But the lunch experience was so poor that I don’t want to repeat it. If the lunch concept is to work, you should either raise the level significantly or adjust the price to match the restaurant's otherwise good reputation.

19/07/2025: Really delicious restaurant with a wildly beautiful view. The food comes quickly or as needed (if you want this) so the service is top notch. They explain what you are eating and the food is very particular. I got a 4 course meal to taste as much as possible, but I am surprised that this year there was veal on the menu and not just fish. Otherwise I remember the restaurant as a purely fish restaurant. If there are many guests, the noise can unfortunately be a bit loud and seem a bit overwhelming to some. A nice little detail is that you can thank the chef (if you want) for well-prepared gourmet food, as he himself comes down to the table..
