09/08/2026: Very disappointing experience at Café Korn in Ringsted. My 2½ year old son and I ordered food at 12:44. There were seats available both inside and outside, so the café did not seem full. We ordered a children's dish with fish fillet and fries and an avocado sandwich. After about 40 minutes of waiting, I asked a waiter if our food was on its way. I was told that the kitchen was behind, but that it would only be another 4-5 minutes. The most frustrating thing, however, was that several guests who had arrived after us received their food after only 10-15 minutes. When I pointed this out, the staff offered to look into the possibility of a discount. I declined, as the problem was not about the price, but about the long wait and the lack of handling of the situation. When the food finally arrived, my avocado sandwich was also filled with so much mayonnaise that I could not finish it. Overall, it was a very sad and disappointing experience, and unfortunately not a place I would want to visit again.

30/07/2026: We try their 10-course menu. It wasn't quite right for us. Half of the dishes are deep-fried and bear the mark of having been made in advance and then deep-fried. The main course was the highlight though, it was quite nice. The waiter came and asked if we wanted dessert, we had the assumption that when you ordered a 10-course tasting menu there was at least one dessert included out of the 10 dishes. But it had to be bought on the side at the end. We said no to this one. The service is like other places, young people who don't quite have a handle on it. It's difficult and understandably difficult to get staff. We had to go up twice and ask for more and drinks. We try it when it opened, it was a bit of an average experience. That's why we gave it another shot with the 10 dishes here. But it wasn't right for us either.

22/07/2026: A slightly surprising mix of really good and successful food with an inexperienced management of the restaurant. The food and drinks came to our table quickly and everything was taken care of in a good way. Other guests waited a very long time just for drinks. It wasn't particularly busy, but still several abandoned tables were not cleared and it unfortunately had a cafeteria feel rather than a competent restaurant, which the place clearly wants to be. Overall, great praise for the food and the experience we had, but the handling of the tables needs to be better managed. We got the large sharing menu with 13 servings (not dishes!) and it can be recommended. Be aware of discounts from Sunday to Thursday, which are not immediately apparent on the website.

25/08/2026: It was a nice experience and a fun way to round off our visit to Lego House, especially for kids. Ordering your meal using the Lego sets is a cute and creative idea, and it definitely adds some fun to the experience. However, considering how much this part is advertised, we were a little surprised by how small and quick the actual ordering experience was. In the end, you order, wait for your food, eat, and leave, so don’t expect the entire meal to be an interactive Lego experience (Remember, you booked a certain time slot). The staff was nice and helpful. The lemonades were truly amazing (try them!), and the food overall was good, although nothing particularly special. Some dishes we really enjoyed, while others weren’t really to our taste. The portions were definitely enough to leave us full, though. If it fits your budget, the restaurant is certainly worth trying once, particularly with children, as they will probably get the most out of the experience. But you’re also not missing an essential part of Lego House if you decide to skip it. You can easily bring your own food or grab something at the food court instead.

24/08/2026: This place is genuinely a 10/10!! Also just for adults, is amazing when a restaurant can turn into an entire experience. The service was amazing, they take it seriously. The way the restaurant is decorated also with all the Lego flowers on the wall is just so pleasing to look at. And not only to mention that the food is really good, the chicken with sesame was incredible. Definitely a must if you are in billund. You also pay a deposit but at the end they discount it from the entire bill.

The only dissatisfaction was 30 kr for two very small glasses of water and then the phone rang continuously, with a really annoying ringtone/melody, which would have bothered me and my ADHD a lot more if we hadn't been sitting outside. Otherwise it was a really good experience.

26/08/2026: The only restaurant in the old town of Skagen where you can still get a beer from a keg in a plastic cup and also fantastic hammered crab claws. The staff are absolutely superb. Many thanks for reviving our old memories.

21/08/2026: The staff and service were immaculate, food good but not the best, we only had fish and chips, which were really good quality, and the buffet, which is good, but not too extensive. The prices were quite steep, which might be the main downside, other than the noise from all the customers. Seems a bit tight and crowded, thats the vibe of these harbour restaurants.

17/08/2026: We ate here and were completely satisfied. The food was delicious, and the portions were just the right size. We especially appreciated the friendly service. The server was very nice and, despite our being in Denmark, spoke to us in German – which was a real plus for us. They even thought of the little ones: there were crayons and a coloring page for the children, so they weren't bored either. We sat in the sheltered outdoor area, which was very pleasant in the lovely weather. Overall, we felt very comfortable here and would definitely come back.
