26/08/2026: Mormors Lille Café was truly a wonderful discovery and one of those places you fondly remember long after your trip. From the moment you enter, you're greeted by a warm, intimate, and truly unique atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. The decor is probably one of the most beautiful aspects of the place: meticulously crafted, original, and charming, with a welcoming style that truly reminds you of your grandmother's house. Every corner has something to admire and contributes to creating a unique atmosphere, far removed from the classic, modern, and standardized cafés. It's a place with real personality. We were also very satisfied with the food. The coffee was excellent and the cakes were truly delicious, perfect for a break while exploring the area. Sitting here, drinking a good coffee, and enjoying a slice of cake surrounded by this unique decor was a truly pleasant experience. The place invites you to linger and enjoy the moment, without rushing. For us, Mormors Lille Café perfectly embodies the charm of small Danish cafés: cozy, quaint, and authentic. Highly recommended for a relaxing break. We'd love to return!

31/07/2026: A charming little café! We visited Oma's Little Café while on vacation and found it very cozy and lovingly decorated. We had four slices of cake (strawberry and currant), two hot chocolates, and a pot of coffee. Everything tasted delicious and homemade, especially the cake. In total, we paid about 50 euros, which is okay for the quantity and quality, but also quite expensive. Nevertheless, it's a special, very welcoming place that feels like visiting Grandma. We would recommend it and would definitely come back.

22/08/2025: The food is very tasty and, by Danish standards, reasonably priced. The ambiance is a bit dated, but everything is clean and tidy; in Berlin, you'd call it retro style. Only the service was spotty. The cashier couldn't hide her constant eye roll as the menus grew longer and heavier, and she made no effort to prevent it. She then silently handed over to a colleague in the middle of the ordering process. However, the deal went smoothly with her.

27/07/2026: Cozy place and delicious food. Didn't look like much but there was enough. We were missing a little more cheese, there was some kind. The wine is also really good. Super friendly service.

19/07/2026: Really rude service. Came in with a wheelchair and was immediately told in a very brusque tone that there was no room. It turned out that there was anyway when the rest of the party (five in total) arrived. There were nine guests in total while we were there. The waiter did not speak Danish (which is apparently very common), but was not particularly good at English, and did not understand the wines either. The prices in the restaurant are significantly higher than the prices you can see on the menu online (and no, not what you find when you want to order takeaway), and some dishes are also missing.

10/08/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A really lovely evening at Bredahl Kro 🍽️ Tonight we tried Bredahl Kro's 3-course menu offer, which is running here in August – and what a great experience! 😍 The food was really delicious and tasted fantastic. You could clearly feel that both taste and quality were taken care of. 🤩 The service was also top notch – sweet and lovely staff, lots of smiles and a really nice atmosphere. 😊 It was extra nice that the head chef himself came in and took the orders – it just adds a little extra to the experience. We had a really lovely evening and can definitely recommend Bredahl Kro. 👍 It's definitely not the last time we've been here – we'll be back! ❤️ Thank you for a lovely dining experience and good service! 👏🍷

10/06/2026: I was shocked! I have been in copenhagen for 3 years now, moving from lebanon, and i could not find a good shawarma. But this place! WOW the flavors reminded me of back home. This is for me hands down the best chicken shawarma in Copenhagen, there no doubt.

24/04/2026: Was supposed to pick up a package yesterday, April 23. But it was closed! A small note on the door where several people went to look. Maybe they should have informed their package suppliers that it was closed, so that people don't choose Herfølge as a package shop during that period. In return, we got a ride to Ringsted!

17/08/2026: We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary in the garden, and had the food delivered by Teddy. We experienced excellent service, from the first contact with menu suggestions to the actual serving of the food, which was simply excellent. We took advantage of the opportunity to also have the restaurant staff come to us to take care of all the practical things. The girls did an excellent job and were completely independent, so that we could be guests at our own party. Many thanks to Martin and all the other helpers.

17/08/2026: Lovely food and a really nice environment, but unfortunately the experience was let down badly by the front-of-house service. The member of staff serving us appeared extremely inexperienced and, as far as we could tell, was the only person looking after the restaurant. We were seated at a lovely table but then left for around 10 minutes before we were even given menus. We ordered the smorgasbord, with two pieces each as recommended. My partner chose two fish dishes and ordered those first, and I then ordered two for myself. When the food arrived, only my partner’s two fish dishes were brought out. I pointed out that these were the two he had ordered, but as we had intended to share, we didn’t make an issue of it. Around 10 minutes later, the waiter came back and asked whether he had got the order wrong. We explained that he had, but he then told us that the fish dishes were being served first anyway. This made very little sense — why would one person’s food be served and not the other’s, particularly when we had ordered together? Once we had finished the fish dishes, my two smorgasbord pieces were eventually brought out. We had wanted to try each other’s dishes together, rather than having them served separately, so this was particularly disappointing. Aside from a brief apology, there was no real acknowledgement that the service had fallen short. This is a lovely restaurant serving good food in a beautiful setting, which makes the poor service even more frustrating. Given the long wait just to receive menus and the mistake with the order, I would have expected some recognition of the inconvenience, perhaps even a small gesture of goodwill. Instead, we were simply presented with the full bill at the end of the meal. The food and surroundings were good, but unfortunately the service really spoiled the experience. I would be hesitant to recommend the restaurant unless the front-of-house staff receive better training and support.

26/08/2026: Upon entering Huset Frost Café & Butik, you first step into a very stylishly furnished boutique with a variety of beautiful decorative items, kitchen utensils, and a small selection of gourmet foods, primarily sweets. We were quickly asked if we needed any assistance, but declined and took a quick look around. We were actually on a different mission. Adjoining the boutique is a lovely café with a beautiful garden. However, since we had just finished eating, we opted for a cardamom bun and a small tart with rhubarb filling and raspberry mousse to go. Packing these two items into a designated box took an inexplicably long time, but it eventually worked, allowing us to pay at the register. Well, almost partially, as the mousse topping had apparently suffered some damage. Both pastries were truly excellent. The cardamom bun was wonderfully sweet and buttery with a great cardamom flavor, and the small tartlet was a real explosion of taste. Absolutely delicious!

31/07/2026: Very friendly and welcoming staff, both in the store and in the cafe. Super delicious food at reasonable prices. Nice and cozy courtyard where you can sit and enjoy the food. The store is filled with delicious, high-quality things. We will definitely be back!

05/09/2026: Nice place indoors but the view out the windows is a bit of a bore, parking lot and mostly ugly public buildings.

20/08/2026: Cozy wine bar with European wines; nice selection. Nice tapas and good wine by the glass.
